The Parrog, with its beach, estuary, boat club and restaurant, is a 5 minute walk (0.2 miles) from the cottage and is where you can join the 186 mile long Pembrokeshire coastal path.You can catch the Poppit Rocket (coastal walker's bus) if you wish to explore more.
Newport, is less than a mile away and has an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and traditional shops providing just about all you need. It also boasts a lovely links golf course, beautiful sandy beach and a bird sanctuary in the estuary and easy access to the Preseli Hills and Gwaun Valley.
The front door leads into the OPEN PLAN, GALLERIED, Sitting & Dining Room which has a full height exposed stone wall with an inset fireplace housing a welcoming woodburning stove. There are exposed rafters, open beamed ceiling and a slate floor with underfloor heating.
The SITTING AREA is furnished with an attractive striped sofa with matching armchair, nest of table, flat screen TV with integral DVD player, CD/radio and a wardrobe.
The DINING AREA has a small dining table with two chairs which can be carried outside for al-fresco dining should you wish.
A door leads to the small but perfectly formed KITCHEN where there is a built in electric fan oven with grill, 2 ring SMEG hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, shelving for storage and a small table with drawers which can be used for dining.
A low (about 5') doorway leads to the WET ROOM which has a shower, WC and wash hand basin and electric towel rail. Under the stairs there is a cupboard with shoe rack for coats and further storage.
A pine staircase leads from the sitting area to the gallery bedroom which has pine balustrades and overlooks the sitting area and woodburning stove.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables and a small chest of drawers with mirror. Wardrobe space is downstairs as previously mentioned.
There is a patio area, to the fore of the cottage where you can enjoy an al-fresco breakfast in the sunshine.
There is a parking space on the owners drive.
The owners sometimes stay in the main house next door and have a large lawned garden with mature trees and wildflower banks.
There is underfloor heating in the cottage, this is included in the rental from May to September inclusive and charged for at a flat rate of £25 per week at all other times, payable when booking.
A travel cot is available for babies, but the cottage is only suitable for infants up to about six months.
Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest.
