A lovely detached holiday cottage just a couple of miles from Bryngwran and Rhosneigr on the west coast of Anglesey which is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and lovely walks, spectacular cliffs, watersports, windsurfing, fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, kitesurfing and golf.
There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the villages, and Valley, Llangefni, Holyhead, Beaumaris, Caernarfon and the city of Bangor are all within a half hour drive. You could try a boat trip to Puffin Island to see nesting puffins and guillemots. On the mainland Llandudno, Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula are all within an hour's drive.
This pretty cottage is situated off a quiet road in beautiful countryside and has recently been refitted to provide all modern comforts.
Entrance is via a glazed porch into the hallway and through to the SITTING ROOM which has a double aspect, high open beam ceiling, wooden floorboards with rug and an open fire in Victorian surround and is furnished with two leather sofas, coffee table, occasional furniture, TV with DVD player and a dresser.
There is a small SUN ROOM with a breakfast table and 2 chairs off the sitting room.
The DINING ROOM has a woodburning stove and is furnished with a dining table, 4 chairs, bench and occasional furniture.
The adjacent KITCHEN has a range of fully fitted units incorporating an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. There are two windows which overlook the garden.
The SHOWER ROOM is on the ground floor and has a suite of shower, WC and hand basin.
There are 3 bedrooms. BEDROOM 3 is on the ground floor off the sitting room and has a single bed with a further 2'6" truckle bed underneath; there is a bedside shelf, chest, dressing table and hanging space for clothes.
First floor 1 BEDROOM 1 is approached by a steep flight of stairs from the dining room. The bedroom has a sloping ceiling and is furnished with a double bed, bedside chests with lamps, wardrobe and a chair.
First floor 2 BEDROOM 2 is approached by another steep staircase from the sitting room and also has a sloped ceiling, it is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and there is clothes hanging space.
There is a lovely sheltered and sunny lawned garden to the side of the cottage with shrub and tree borders, to the rear is another small lawn area under a large tree and beyond this is a paddock garden which is large enough for children to play ball games in and has a patio area.
Garden furniture is provided and can be moved around to the sunniest bit of garden!
There is a gated drive with parking for up to 3 cars and a boat.
The paddock has a separate 10' gateway if you have a larger vehicle.
There is an elevated roof top terrace, accessed by outside steps with views across the Marshlands and down to the sea. Excellent for bird watching.
There central heating throughout the cottage - the cost is included from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times - payable when booking.A complimentary basket of logs is supplied for the fires and more are available to purchase locally.
Towels are available to hire £5 per guest (not for beach use).
2 small well behaved pets are welcome.
There is a Childs High Chair but no other baby equipment available, but you may bring your own.
Please bear in mind the staircases are steep and may not be suitable for the very young or infirm.
