This attractive stone holiday cottage is within 10 minutes of both Solva and St Davids in the Pembrokeshire National Park.

The cottage is in a peaceful location at the end of a farm track with two other cottages and is surrounded by countryside. 

The coastal path can be joined at Solva harbour (2 miles) where you will also find a good selection of excellent eateries,  pubs, galleries.

St Davids is Britain's smallest city (3.5 miles) and the magnificent cathedral and Bishop's Palace are well worth a visit as are the many individual shops, galleries, eateries and delicatessens.

Abereiddy beach, Whitesands beach and Newgale beach are within 5 miles and offer lovely walking, bathing, surfing and birdwatching. 

The coastal path offers miles of stunning walks to Abereiddi and The Blue Lagoon (where you can try coasteering), Porthgain, Strumble Head and Newgale to name but a few.

Holiday Accommodation

Entrance is into a PORCH with space to hang your coats and take off your walking boots.

An internal wooden door leads through to the large, airy open plan KITCHEN and SITTING ROOM which has a high A-frame ceiling, spiral staircase, galleried room, Velux skylights and exposed beams.

The comfortable SITTING AREA has a woodburning stove in an arched stone fireplace (perfect for cooler evenings), two comfortable modern sofas and an armchair, coffee table, flat screen TV and DVD player.

The KITCHEN has views over the countryside and is fitted with a good range of units, electric oven and hob, microwave oven,  fridge and dishwasher.  There is a washing machine / dryer  and freezer in the breakfast room.

The DINING / BREAKFAST ROOM is at the rear of the cottage and has a pine dining table with 6 chairs. 
A stable door leads to the rear lawn area.

There are three bedrooms; two on the ground floor and one twin Galleried bedroom on the first floor.

BEDROOM 1 is spacious and has a beamed ceiling and country view window; it is furnished with a double bed, antique pine chest of drawers and dressing table, wardrobe, bedside lamp, Ipod docking station with clock alarm and a pine rocking chair.

BEDROOM 2 has a double pine bed, bedside table, antique dressing table, wardrobe and Velux skylight window with blackout blinds.

The spacious FAMILY BATHROOM has a suite of bath, large shower cubicle with power shower, WC, hand basin, tall towel radiator, shaving point, extracter fan and Velux Skylight window.

There is also a separate WC.

Off the kitchen, a spiral staircase leads to a GALLERY BEDROOM 3 with sloped open beam ceilings. It is a perfect place for children to sleep and is furnished with twin beds, pine chest of drawers, bedside lamp, Velux skylight window (with black out blind), wicker seat and there is a hanging rail for clothes.

Garden and Parking

There is a walled gravel parking area to the fore with space for at least 3 cars.
Just outside the gate is a large lawned area with plenty of space for games and picnics. 
To the rear is another area where ball games can be played.

There is also a lockable SHED to the rear where you can store surf boards / bikes etc.

There is additional parking space for a boat and 2 cars at the rear.

Garden furniture is provided.

Other Information

There is oil central heating throughout the property, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 at all other times - payable when booking.
Logs can be purchased locally.

No baby equipment is provided; you are welcome to bring your own.

Towels may be hired at £5 per guest.

No pets as horses and ponies graze in the neighbouring fields.

No smoking.
