Newport is one of those places that you want to visit time and time again.

It has everything you could want or need for a holiday. Nestling at the foot of Carningli mountain, yet just a few minutes away from the sea, it is a perfect place from which to explore the Pembrokeshire coast and Preseli hills.

Within a few minutes' walk of the house are beaches, eateries to suit every taste, individual shops, galleries and pubs.

This attractive stone cottage offers period charm and features as well as comfort and modern conveniences.

Holiday Accommodation

Entrance is into the light and airy hallway and through to the KITCHEN which has a range of base units, electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and a breakfast table with 4 chairs.

The UTILITY area has a washing machine, large fridge/freezer, capacious pantry cupboard and shelving.

The SITTING ROOM has a fireplace with an electric 'log burning stove', 2 comfortable sofas, armchair, wooden armchair, occasional furniture, TV, DVD & video player, bookcases and a good selection of DVDs, books and games.

The DINING ROOM has a gas fire in attractive surround, dining table with 4 chairs, corner cupboard, occasional table and CD radio with blue tooth.

There is a BATHROOM downstairs which has a suite of bath, with shower over and folding shower screen, WC and hand basin.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a SHOWER ROOM with white suite of shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.

BEDROOM 1 has a king size bed, bedside chests with lamps, chest of drawers, wardrobe and 2 chairs.

BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, bedside chests with lamps, chest of drawers with mirror, wardrobe and a chair.

All the beds are made up with crisp fresh linen for your arrival.

There is a third room which is locked for owner's storage.

Garden and parking

There is private parking space for two cars in front of the cottage.

A particular feature of the property is the large garden which enjoys a sunny aspect and a lawn big enough for ball games.

There are mature shrubs and borders and the main patio has a garden table, umbrella and 4 chairs, the second patio has a picnic bench.

There is a summer house at the end of the garden for storing the furniture.

A gate leads through to "Leslie's veg patch" which is tended periodically by this friendly neighbour.

Other information

Gas central heating throughout. Gas and electric are included in the price from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times (payable when booking).

No baby equipment is provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest (not for beach use).
