Parrog beach, the coastal path and the larger Newport Sands are all within walking distance. Parrog is a favourite with children, boating enthusiasts and is a great place to watch the sun set at the end of the day.
With two beautiful beaches, the bird sanctuary estuary and access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and National Park, Newport really does have it all.
The Vestry has upside down living and has lots of interesting and original features and artwork throughout.
A flight of original slate steps lead to the small entry porch (look out for names carved into the slate wall whilst the children waited for Sunday school).
A door leads to into the light and airy open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with high A frame rafters, wooden floorboards and delightful views, via 6 windows, over the surrounding rooftops.
The KITCHEN AREA has a range of fitted units, 70/30 fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven and dishwasher.
The DINING AREA has a very large pine table with 8 chairs.
The SITTING AREA has a woodburning stove and is furnished with 3 two seater sofas, armchairs, TV, radio, CD player, card table and a desk.
A good selection of books, games and maps are provided.
Stairs lead downstairs to the bedrooms.
BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, chair, bedside tables with lamps, cupboard and drawers.
BEDROOM 2 has twin beds, bedside chest, wardrobe and chair.
BEDROOM 3 has bunk beds, chest of drawers, table and a large bookcase full of books.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a suite of bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.
There is a separate CLOAKROOM with WC and hand basin.
There is an OUTBUILDING with a washing machine, shower (perfect when you come off the beach), WC, hand basin and space for drying wetsuits/walking boots/coats etc.
There is a sunny decked area with garden furniture at the rear.
This overlooks the Chapel grounds where there is a green area where small children can run about.
There is no private parking but it is usually easy to find a space on the roadside.
There is also car park 4 minutes' walk away (£1.50 a day).
All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
A cot, highchair and stairgate are available.
Towels can be hired at £5 per guest.
There is gas central heating, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £35 from October to April. Please pay when booking. A complimentary basket of logs are provided and more available locally.
Pets are welcome but must be kept off the soft furnishings.
