You can walk to Pwllgwaelod, Aberbach or Cwm yr Eglwys beach and join the coast path nearby.
The coastal and service buses pass the door.
Newport is just 2 miles away and has a larger selection of facilities.
Entrance is into the hallway with pine floor.
This leads to the kitchen which has a range of painted pine base and wall units, range cooker with gas hob and electric oven, tall fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
A door leads to the back garden.
There are two sitting rooms both with pine floorboards.
SITTING ROOM 1 has an attractive fireplace with alcove shelving; it is furnished with 2 comfortable grey sofas, coffee table, occasional furniture.
SITTING ROOM 2 also has an attractive ornamental fireplace with a gas fire and is furnished with two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV with DVD player.
There is a small cellar with boiler and washing machine.
The DINING ROOM has an ornamental period fireplace, dining table and 6 chairs (there are more fold away chairs in the cellar) and a sideboard.
A beautiful staircase leads to the first floor landing.
BEDROOM 1 has a bay window with sea views, double bed, bedside chests with lamps, clothes hanging space and chest of drawers with mirror.
BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, bedside tables, clothes hanging space, chest of drawers with mirror.
BEDROOM 3 has twin beds, bedside tables, chest of drawers and clothes hanging space.
BEDROOM 4 has a single bed, small chest and pegs for hanging clothes.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has suite of bath, WC and hand basin.
The staircase continues up to the second floor landing where there is an armchair by the arched window giving distant sea views and a with "Narnia" wardrobe containing books and games.
BEDROOM 5 has a gable window, sloped ceiling, exposed beams and stone. It is furnished with a double bed and single day bed, bedside tables with lamps, clothes hanging space, chest with mirror and a chair.
The second BATHROOM is huge and has A frame rafters, a suite of bath, WC, hand basin and a chair.
There is small railed area to the fore of the cottage so you do not step into the road (30mph).
At the rear of the house is a small lawned garden and patio area with garden furniture.
There is a side entrance with a gate.
There is a stone store shed - please ask if you wish to use it.
You may unload your car outside the property and park it about 150 yards down the road in a large layby.
There is gas central heating and combi boiler.
Gas is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £40 per week from October to April - please pay when booking.
A cot, highchair and stairgate are available.
Beds are all made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Towels are available to hire for £5 per guest (not for beach use).
Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome.
A refundable security deposit of £150 will be added to your booking. This will be refunded in the week after your holiday as long as everything is left damage free, clean and tidy.
This property does not accept short breaks.
