This comfortable apartment in the tiny village of Trapp is close to Carreg Cennen castle, the beautiful Black Mountains and just inside the Brecon Beacons National Park.

This is a perfect place for walkers and cyclists with an abundance of paths and trails to explore.

Llandeilo is just a 10 minute drive (4 miles) away and has a great selection of individual shops, galleries and eateries, Carmarthen, the oldest town in wales, is 15 miles.

The welcoming village pub is a short 3 minute walk.

Carreg Cennen Castle is perched above the village and you can see it from the decking in the winter.

You can enjoy a walk through the castle grounds and maybe spot Red Kites flying overhead.

Carmarthenshire is known as the Garden of Wales and the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are close-by.

Holiday Accommodation

Entrance is into the hallway with a tiled floor, door to the shower room and steep staircase leading to the L-shaped open plan living area.

The OPEN PLAN KITCHEN, DINING AND SITTING AREA has a wood laminate floor, sloped ceilings and a safety gate at the top of the stairs.

The KITCHEN has fitted cupboards, sink, combination microwave oven, 2 ring induction hob, fridge, kettle and toaster.

The DINING AREA has a table and two chairs.

The SITTING AREA has a large and very comfortable corner sofa, coffee table, flat screen TV, books, games and leaflets.

French doors lead to the enclosed decked terrace which has rural views towards Carreg Cennen Castle.

A door leads off the sitting area to the BEDROOM with king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, clothes storage with hanging and shelf space, dressing table with mirror and a view of the garden area. The bed will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are provided.

The SHOWER ROOM is down the steep stairs and comprises a suite of corner shower cubicle, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

Garden & Parking

There is no garden with the apartment, however you do get nice views over the owners garden (and the castle in Winter).

There is a lovely area of enclosed decking at the rear of the property with a garden table and chairs, where you can sit in complete privacy and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or an al-fresco breakfast.

There is parking space for one or two cars on the tarmac drive.

Secure storage for mountain bikes is also provided on request.

Other Information

There is full central heating throughout and this is included in the rental all year round.

No baby equipment is provided and this property is not really suitable for babies or very young children.

There is a WiFi signal from the owners' house - this may be intermittent at times.

One well behaved - steep stair savvy - pet is welcome and the country lanes are perfect for dog walking.

No smoking.
