Enjoying an elevated position, this comfortable family home is situated at the foot of Carningli Mountain and close to the Pembrokeshire coastal path and estuary.

It's just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Newport with its lovely eateries, pubs, individual shops and galleries.

Parrog beach and the larger beach at Newport Sands are both within a walking mile of the property.

All the rooms at the front of the house enjoy country and sea views.

The cottage was formerly let as reference 2165 but is now under new ownership and undergoing some updates at present (February 2017).

Holiday Accommodation

Steps lead from the single track road to a patio area and to the front door.

Entrance is into a hallway and through to the OPEN PLAN DINING AND LIVING ROOM with French doors leading to another patio and the garden beyond.

The sitting area has a gas fire with back boiler and is furnished with two comfy sofas, armchair and coffee table.

The dining area has a dining table with 6 chairs and a Welsh dresser.

The SECOND SITTING ROOM has a gas fired "woodburner" and is furnished with a sofa, retro armchairs, bookcase and TV with DVD player.

The KITCHEN has a range of fully fitted units, electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.

A door leads to the patio and garden.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms all of which enjoy country and sea views.

BEDROOM 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobes, bedside tables with lamps.

BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

BEDROOM 3 has bunk beds, bedside cabinet and a chest of drawers.

The FAMILY BATHROOM has a modern suite of white bath with electric shower over, WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail.

Garden and Parking

There is a patio area to the fore and to the rear.

Garden furniture is provided.

The enclosed and gated garden is accessed via a path.

It is grassy, long, sloped and tapers.

Parking is on the roadside below the house.

Other Information

There is gas fired central heating, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £30 per week at all other times, please pay when booking.

All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.

Towels can be hired at £5 per guest.

A stairgate is available.

No cot or highchair.

No smoking.

No pets.
