Shire Horses from this unassuming farm are now Drum Horses to the British and Middle Eastern Royal Families.

If you can tear yourself away Newport and Cardigan are both 6 miles away with a good selection of shops, eateries and galleries.
Traeth Mawr beach at Newport and Poppit Sands near St Dogmaels are great for all ages.
The coastal path and Preseli hills offer lovely walks and stunning scenery.
Entrance is from the private parking area into the UTILITY ROOM with washing machine, tumble dryer, Belfast sink and space for coats and boots.

Through to the large OPEN PLAN KITCHEN & DINING ROOM with high A frame ceiling, slate tiled floor and French doors with views of the Preseli hills over the pasture and leading to the enclosed garden and patio area.
The kitchen area is furnished with a range of oak units and has a breakfast bar with 2 stools, large range cooker with electric ovens, grill and hob, microwave oven and a large fridge/freezer.
The dining area has views over the farmyard and is furnished with a farmhouse table with 4 chairs and a welsh settle.
The SITTING ROOM has underfloor heating, lovely views of the hills and is furnished with 2 leather sofas, wall mounted TV & coffee table.
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 are downstairs and have underfloor heating.
BEDROOM 1 has large glazed window and door with views of the hills, king size bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, dressing table and a wardrobe.
The EN-SUITE BATHROOM has a suite of P-shaped bath with electric power shower over, WC and hand basin.
BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a suite of bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.
A staircase leads from the kitchen and dining room to BEDROOM 3 which is a loft room and has an A frame ceiling, velux windows and plenty of play space making it perfect for children.
There are two single beds, bedside tables with lamps, chests of drawers, 'treasure chest' ottomans, beanbags and some games and toys.
There is a small study with a telephone (incoming only) and local info.
There is a designated private parking area for 2 to 3 cars to the rear of the property.
The lawned garden is enclosed and level making it suitable for dogs and children and is large enough for ball games.
There is also a sun deck with garden furniture and a picnic bench.
You are welcome to use your own disposable barbecue in this area.
Heating is by solar panels and oil with underfloor heating in the sitting room and both downstairs bedrooms and radiators in the other rooms.
There is no charge for heating between May and September and a nominal charge of £20 per week between October and April. Payable when booking.
No cot but a highchair and stairgate can be provided on request.
Beds are all made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest.
2 pets (more by discussion) are welcome.
Dyfed Shires is open to the public during the summer months.
You will have free access to the farm throughout your stay, use of the children's play areas (adult supervision required) even after the farm has closed to the general public. There is almost a mile of farm trail and you can use this at any time.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
A public footpath runs through the farm and offers excellent views and undisturbed walking.
During farm opening hours guests are welcome to take part in any of the timetabled activities and visit the indoor children's play areas, gift shop or cafe.
House guests (by prior arrangement) can accompany farm staff with animal feeding routines (not available to general visitors). Book an experience, please ask ahead of your visit. 1-2-1 experiences with the Shire Horses can be arranged for an additional fee.
An example would be half day horse driving experience where the Yard Manager would introduce you to working with a Shire and include driving in a cart, chain harrowing a field, etc.
This property does not accept short breaks.
