There are several coves and beaches to explore locally including Cwm yr Eglwys, Aberfforest, Pwllgwaelod, Parrog and Newport.
Newport is a couple of miles away and has a great selection of eateries, pubs and individual shops and galleries.
Fishguard, Cardigan, St Davids and Haverfordwest are all within a half hour drive.
The Strumble Shuttle coastal walker's bus passes the end of the farm lane and there are lovely walks on the coastal path and the Preseli hills.
There is also a riding stable at the end of the lane if you fancy a trek.
The farm track leads 3/4 mile up the hill to the Cartws situated at the very top of the old farmyard.
Entrance is into the open plan kitchen/dining room with oak floorboards throughout.
The KITCHEN area is fitted with a range of cream Shaker style units with integrated fridge, freezer, electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher as well as a microwave oven.
The separate UTILITY room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and space for drying coats etc.
The SITTING AREA has a woodburning stove, floor to ceiling glass doors looking towards the sea, very large leather sofa and armchair, TV, coffee table, lamps, books and games.
Just off the sitting area is the DINING ROOM with a circular (extending) dining table and 6 chairs.
There are 2 bedrooms.
BEDROOM 1 is on the ground floor and enjoys a double aspect; it is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers with mirror and clothes rail.
The FAMILY BATHROOM is adjacent and has a suite of bath with power shower over, WC , hand basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.
The utility is also off this hallway as is an external door.
A flight of wooden stairs lead from the sitting area to BEDROOM 2 with sloped ceilings, gable end window and velux windows with lovely views over to the bay.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside chests, chest of drawers, clothes hanging rail and chair.
The private hot tub is set back to the side of the house for shelter and privacy where you can sit relaxing while enjoying the sunset over Newport Bay.
A hot outdoor shower has been installed for guests to use before and after the hot tub.
There is a gravelled parking area at the far end of the Cartws with space for two cars.
There is a private sheltered lawn area with Pembrokeshire hedges, mature trees and garden furniture perfect for al-fresco breakfasts, picnic lunches and star gazing at night.
There is underfloor heating throughout with radiators in the upstairs room.
Heating is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times. Please leave your payment at the property.
A complimentary basket of logs will be supplied for the start of your holiday, more can be purchased locally.
Bed linen is provided and bath towels may be hired at £5 per guest, please bring your own beach towels.
Baby equipment is not provided, please bring your own.
