Set at the foot of Carningli Mountain (The Mount of Angels) with the medieval church and castle as a back drop; Newport has it all!

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path can be joined just 5 minutes' walk away at the Iron Bridge on the Nevern estuary where many different varieties of wading birds are spotted on a daily basis. 

There is a lovely walk to Parrog which has a small beach and boat club.

Traeth Mawr - the "big beach" is a 20 minute walk away and offers a mile and a half of silver sand with rock pools, dunes and cliffs all backed by the 18 hole links golf course. 

This spacious detached house is situated in a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from the butcher, baker, deli, general store and a selection of welcoming pubs and eateries serving a range of excellent food.

Entrance is into the spacious hallway with a 1920's colonial feel having mellow wooden floors and staircase.

The hallway leads to the very spacious L shaped KITCHEN & DINING ROOM overlooks the large back garden and has a triple aspect making it particularly light and airy.

The KITCHEN is fitted with a range of grey contemporary shaker style units with integrated appliances of double oven with grill, microwave, halogen hob, dishwasher, 70/30 fridge/freezer.

There is a UTILITY area with washing machine, tumble dryer and a second sink.

The DINING AREA has an oak dining table with chairs and bench seating.

A door leads from the dining area to a balcony terrace with table and chairs and steps lead down to the large lawn.

The SITTING ROOM has an art deco fireplace with electric fire and bay window.

It is furnished with a large leather sofa, 2 comfortable armchairs, coffee table, and reading lamp.

There is also a TV ROOM with a vintage fireplace, electric fire, two comfy sofas, coffee table, occasional tables, lamp and TV.

The downstairs CLOAKROOM has a WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

BEDROOM 1 is downstairs and is furnished with a king size bed, bedside chests of drawers with lamps, wardrobe and chair.

The EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM has a modern walk in shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

Stairs lead to the other bedrooms and family bathroom.

BEDROOM 2 has a bay window where you can enjoy views of Carningli Mountain.

There is off road parking for up to 3 cars at the side of the house.

A door leads from the dining area to a balcony terrace with table and chairs and steps lead down to the large rear lawn which is enclosed by hedges and planted with fruit trees and shrubs.

There is ample space for children to play games and enjoy a picnic.

There is also a small front garden with gravel and planted borders.

Other Information

There is gas central heating throughout.

This is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times, this is payable when booking.

A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

All the beds will be made up with crisp white linen for your arrival.

Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest (bath and hand towel).

Please bring your own beach towels.
