This contemporary house is hidden away in the heart of Newport which nestles at the foot of Carningli, the Mount of Angels, from where you can enjoy stunning views over Newport Bay and beyond.

Parrog beach and Nevern Estuary are both a short walk from the house and the joining point for the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park which includes 186 miles of spectacular coastal path to walk.

A walk to Newport Sands - Traeth Mawr will take about 30 minutes and there is a golf club too.

The seaside town of Newport has a good selection of eateries to suit most tastes as well as individual and traditional shops, galleries, friendly pubs and a weekly (Monday) local producer's market.

This really is a lovely home from which to explore the Pembrokeshire and the Preseli Hills.

In fact, you could park your car on arrival and not use it again all week!

Holiday Accommodation

Entrance to Ty Cerrig is via a large glazed porch area with seating into a light open plan living space with wooden floors throughout.

The open plan KITCHEN area has a range of blue/grey fitted cupboards with oak work tops housing a built in dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob.

THE UTILITY room off the kitchen with ceramic tile flooring has a fridge/freezer with cold water dispenser, washing machine and microwave.

To the side of the house is an enclosed washing line area and outside tap. 

Off the utility room is a WC and walk in shower area for rinsing off sandy bodies.

The DINING area has a circular table with 4 chairs with French doors leading to the south westerly terraced area with further table and chairs for alfresco dining.

The LIVING area has 2 large comfy sofas, coffee table and side table with table lamp.

Off the living room is a separate zone with wall mounted TV, piano (for experienced players), books and games.

An oak and glass panelled staircase leads to the bedrooms.

BEDROOM 1 has a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, wall mounted TV, desk and chair.There is a DRESSING ROOM and EN-SUITE SHOWER ROOM with white tiling, walk in shower, WC and hand basin with vanity drawer unit.

BEDROOM 2 has a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, desk and chair.

The large JACK AND JILL BATHROOM has a suite of white bath with WC and hand basin with vanity drawer unit in grey and a separate walk in shower

Garden & Parking

The property is approached along a private gated vehicular lane with access for 3 homes, it is the first property after the gate.

There is a gravel parking area for 2 cars.

There is a lawned front garden with flower border of lavender in raised decking area that catches the early morning and evening sun.

The rear enclosed south westerly garden has a table and chairs and a kettle barbecue for al-fresco dining. There are also 2 sun loungers.

The rear garden is bounded with wooden fencing and hedging and a raised flower bed with cottage garden plants.

Other Information

Heating is underfloor downstairs and radiators upstairs.

Electricity and gas are included from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 from October to April, payable when booking.

Bed linen and towels are included in the rental.

Please bring your own beach towels.

WiFi enabled.

One small and well behaved dog is welcome, there is a £75 good housekeeping deposit for dogs which will be returned as long as all is left clean and tidy.

Please ask if you would like to bring more than one dog.

Property not suitable for toddlers.
