This delightful studio cottage accommodation is part of probably the most picturesque property in Aberporth, Ceredigion. Enjoying a location directly above the sandy beach and with lovely sea views, this makes an ideal holiday retreat for a couple.
The Ceredigion Coastal Path and the Cardigan Bay coastline provide spectacular scenery and walks, while Aberporth itself has pubs, shops and eateries. A little further along the coast are more fishing villages and beaches such as Mwnt, Tresaith, Llangrannog, Cwmtydu, New Quay and Aberaeron.
Cardigan Market town is close by and has a theatre/cinema and a good selection of shops, galleries and pubs.
Beach Retreat is a wing of the owners' house which is at the end of a no through road and immediately opposite the "village green" headland which has benches and picnic tables and from which there are frequent sightings of dolphins. A footpath which is part of the Ceredigion coastal path leads directly to the sandy blue flag beach.
Entrance is into the spacious lobby with room for storing surfboards and walking boots.
Through to the light and airy open plan KITCHEN and DINING ROOM which has an oak floor and a range of Shaker style units incorporating an electric oven and halogen hob, ample storage space and a dishwasher. There is a round dining table and 4 chairs.
The adjacent UTILITY ROOM with quarry tiled floor has a fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The contemporary SHOWER ROOM has a large shower, WC and washbasin.
Stairs lead from the kitchen/diner to the comfortable and spacious triple aspect BED/SITTING ROOM which enjoys superb beach and sea views from the dormer and velux windows. This room is tastefully furnished with a comfy sofa and armchair, coffee tables, flat screen wall mounted TV with SKY plus and DVD.
The SLEEPING AREA has zip and link beds which will be made up as a 6' super-king bed unless two single beds are requested when booking. There is a chest of drawers with mirror and a built in cupboard with hanging space.
The bed/beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are provided.
There is a small paved terrace to the fore where you can enjoy an al-fresco meal and the "village green" headland which has benches and picnic tables makes a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sunset.
Off road parking for one car.
There is oil fired central heating throughout; this is included in the rental.
No baby equipment available.
Towels are included in the rental (Not beach towels).
No pets and no smoking.
