There is a footpath leading from the cottage to the beach at Abercastle where there is access to the 186 miles of Coastal Path where one can enjoy exhilarating walks along the dramatic coastline that the St. David's peninsula offers.
Porthgain Harbour with its wonderful maritime history and picturesque port, Whitesands beach, considered by many to be one of Pembrokeshire's finest beaches, and Abereiddi with the famous Blue Lagoon are all close by.
The single storey cottage has been sympathetically converted from an old grain store and the owner has used flair and imagination to retain its character, with exposed beams and colour washed walls throughout.
The front door opens into a hallway which has the original slate flag stones and stone steps leading up to the lounge and down to the kitchen.
The LOUNGE is comfortably furnished featuring a stone fireplace with a woodburning stove, comfortable sofa, easy chairs, colour TV with HUMAX freeview, video, DVD player, CD Hi Fi and items of occasional furniture.
The KITCHEN/DINING ROOM has a tiled floor and is extremely well-equipped with Golden oak shaker style fitted units, full sized electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, tumble drier and large flat screen TV.
The DINING AREA contains a pine table with matching chairs and the back door opens to secluded garden with patio area.
The MASTER BEDROOM contains an oak double bed with mellow pine matching wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers and flat screen TV.
The SECOND BEDROOM contains twin beds, wardrobe chest of drawers and a flat screen TV. Pretty bedlinen and throws are provided for the beds which all have duvets.
The BATHROOM contains bath with over head shower, wash hand basin and WC.
Extensive lawned gardens with mature trees surround the cottage with a large gravelled area which provides ample parking for three cars.
This garden provides an ideal retreat for guests to sit and relax in the garden and enjoy the sounds of the countryside. Garden furniture and barbecue are provided, ideal for alfresco dining in the summer months.
There is full oil fired central heating throughout the cottage and is charged at a flat rate of £15 per week between September and May and is included in the rental all other times.
Electricity is charged by meter reading, year round. Please leave all payments at the property.
A travel cot and highchair are provided.
No smoking in the cottage.
Towels available at £5 per guest.
There is a telephone for incoming and emergency outgoing calls.
