The Dovecote is an idyllic romantic round tower hideaway for two situated in the beautiful Lower Wye Valley, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and straddling the border between England and Wales.
A pretty 10 minute walk away is The Boat Inn (which serves a selection of guest ales and great pub food) and the old railway bridge where you can take a walk into England.
It's a perfect spot for exploring Offa's Dyke, Monmouth, Chepstow , Abergavenny, Hereford, Cardiff, Hay-on-Wye, Cheltenham and Bristol all within an hour's drive.
The cottage is one of the last on the former Duke of Beaufort's Estate and the stunning tower is a real "find" and one not to be missed.
