“Sea view is a wonderful place to stay.”

Very clean throughout. Lots of attention to detail. Very spacious. Loved having the sun room to relax in during daylight hours and then cosying up in the lounge in the evening. We didn't even get to using the games room, which would provide a larger group with more space and fun too - our rescue dog would not have liked the foosball table noises! We didn't even get to using the games room, which would provide a larger group with more space and fun too - our rescue dog would not have liked the foosball table noises! Fantastic and spacious garden which we, and our dog in particular, enjoyed - the lawn was well kept so paws were not muddy at all. Good location for a few mins drive into the town of Newport (and its pubs) and lots of places and sights to walk and explore within 30 mins. Only real downside was the noisy toilet flush in the en suite. Highly recommended and will go on our list of places we'd love to stay at again (which is very select and has only two places on it now!).

On arrival at the property, off-road parking invites you to leave the car and get settled in your home away from home for the trip.

Make your way inside and kick off your shoes ready to cosy up with your loved ones in front of the woodburning stove; the sitting room hosts character white beams along with a plush sofa and a TV, perfect for snuggling up after an adventurous day of exploring.

The cottage provides a certain air of tranquility and this is mostly present in the snug, where you can escape from the rest of the group and sit in front of the gas fire with a good book.

The chef of the group will be please to discover a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, perfect for whipping up meals for the family ahead of a day trip.

Gather in the conservatory and sit down for dinner with your loved ones while you discuss the day's events; here, you will also find plenty of seating to admire the sea views through the large windows.

Finishing off the ground floor is a handy utility where you can freshen up your clothes throughout your stay, along with a convenient cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.

As the evening draws to a close, venture upstairs to the bedrooms for some well-earned rest.

Outside, the garden boasts a luscious green lawn and a patio with dining furniture where you can dine al fresco in the summer months.

Treat your loved ones to a meal out one evening in the town centre; Tides Kitchen & Wine Bar serves fresh seafood but if pub grub is more your style, why not try The Golden Lion Hotel.

Spend a day at Newport beach taking in the dramatic coastlines topped with fresh greenery, or perhaps try your hand at some water sports on the calming shores.

Children, or even those who just love animals will enjoy a day at Welsh Wildlife Centre, learning about the species found in the nearby Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve.

Antique enthusiasts will revel in an afternoon at the Carningli Centre which is right in the town centre and boasts an eclectic selection of antiques, restorations, books and art.
