Pembrokeshire, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park - fabulous coastline harbours, beaches also the off shore islands including Skomer Island - a must during spring, with blue bells, sea pinks and puffins galore. Then check out the contrast of rolling Preseli Hills with miles of rocky outcrops, stone circles and standing stones.
Carmarthenshire, home to the National Botanical Gardens of Wales and also Aberglasney Gardens and is often known as 'the Garden of Wales'. It has some beautiful countryside walks, and for the more adventurous the Brechfa Hills offer great mountain bike territory.
Ceredigion, has some of the best dolphin spotting coastline in Wales and inland offers rolling hills and valleys - home to the Red Kites.
Snowdonia National Park, home of Snowdon Mountain - the highest peak in Wales (partially in Gwynedd and partially in Conwy), spectacular Mountains and Hills, plus some of Wales' largest expanses of sandy beaches.
The Wye Valley, is an age old destination in Wales and offers beautiful scenery along its entire length. There is also Tintern Abbey and Symonds Yat to visit amongst other attractions.
