“Our second stay at the Mushroom House.”
It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen has been upgraded since our last stay and is very smart. The kitchen has all you need (except a bread Knife?) and it was nice to have milk, Welshcakes and tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. There is plenty of room for two people, the shower is excellent and the small seating area outside is pleasant after a day out, also the area inside by the entrance door. The property is inside what was an old walled garden, shared with some residential properties and is very quiet and private, with its own parking - gold dust in Tenby. There are two steps up to the patio and front door.
It is a 5 minute (uphill) walk to the North beach and about 200 level metres to a small, well stocked, Co-op shop in the other direction. We didn’t need to use Sainsbury’s.
We had only light footfall noise from upstairs. There is very good WiFi and we loved the password on the big stone, we might keep ours on one!
As other people have commented, it would be nice to have instructions for the appliances (we Googled the dishwasher!) and, also, if we were responsible for putting the correct recycling things out when the neighbours did (there are very adequate boxes in the property for all recycling).
We met the owner on our last day and would definitely stay here again.
