The House was lovely with everything you needed to make our stay comfortable.

Huw the owner text us on day of arrival to welcome us and say to contact him if we needed anything. The location was great for exploring the surrounding area’s especially the Cardigan bay coastline. On a clear night the stars were amazing to see.

We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation, huge garden for our lurches and patterdale , they absolutely loved it.

Beautiful lounge, only issue I had was the corner settee being too low for me as I’m disabled but I managed with the tub chair in the lounge which was really comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and the conservatory was an extra bonus. The bedroom we used was the king and although we prefer an orthopaedic mattress which is a lot firmer, we managed. The bathroom was lovely with a nice hot shower. Plenty of information for us as to where to visit. We really enjoyed our stay, our first time in Wales and it’s beautiful.

Property is in a beautiful, peaceful location alongside a minor B road.

Our Dog loved the large enclosed front garden. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner was attentive and very helpful. Proximity of Ystwyth walking/cycle trail a 100 yards away a bonus. All in all a lovely restful couple of weeks.

The bungalow was lovely and the views were breathtaking.

The beds were comfortable, lounge was spacious and the garden was perfect for the grandchildren to burn off some energy. The only issue we did have was flies, loads of them which wasn’t great at mealtimes. Overall a fantastic place to spend a couple of days.

Very comfortable cottage and very clean.

Lovely views too. Wasn't aware that there was a close neighbour. Not reall a problem apart from their Jack Russell dog which got into the front garden and left his calling card!! Thankfully we saw the dog and cleaned up before the children went outside.

This holiday cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and clean, with stunning views, very peaceful.

The owner came to introduce himself and gave us a contract number should we need it, which was lovely. The cottage is in a good place for getting to Aberystwyth, Hafren Forest and Newquay. Lovely, friendly pub and spar shop near by. Highly recommended ☺️

We stayed for 4 days and used the cottage as a base, the cottage was clean tidy and fresh, everything was clean and well maintained would visit again very nice place to be Kevin and Dee

Only a suggestion but a new can opener, we struggled with that one. X

Just returned from a lovely holiday at this cottage.

Clean , spacious, well equipped, very comfortable bed and chairs had a lovely sleep every night. The owner called on us on our first day to check everything was okay was very helpful. The scenery from the front window and garden was spectacular it looked over field and hills in the distance. We have never stayed at a bungalow with such good views, would sit outside at teatime and watch the red kites flying over the fields in the distance. The garden is closed in but you need to check if it is safe for your dog. Nearby village of Tregaron has a good supermarket. There is a nature reserve across the road which you can walk in. The drive to Aberystwyth was beautiful and the town had everything you could want, beach, castle, harbour,shops, library and several large shops including M&S and Tesco.

The property was perfect!

The views were fabulous and the garden was perfect for our little dog. All the facilities were top notch and the sofa and beds were very comfortable. The owners provided loads of information and they had thought of everything. There are fantastic walks from the door and lots of nature on the doorstep, we even heard a cuckoo! Can't wait to return.

Gwynant was a beautiful bungalow with absolutely stunning views.

The property spotless on arrival, and proved to be comfortable, well stocked with cutlery, utensils and crockery and could not be faulted. the beds were comfortable and the views from the sitting room were very distracting if trying to watch TV! The countryside is beautiful in mid wales and Cors Caron nature reserve is accessible just 300m from Gwynant which was very hand for early morning dog walks. The garden is fully enclosed and dog safe. I would fully recommend a visit.

.. Having used Sykes many times this is probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. The bungalow is immaculate, fresh, modern, luxury and super comfortable. Everything you need is there, the views from the garden and windows is breathtaking and the nights are super quiet. The garden is totally secure once the gates are closed, so there are no concerns about 4 legged family members in the gardens. The owner is super helpful and called in the first evening to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would recommend Gwynant to anyone, it is simply amazing for the money.

Gorgeous location and beautiful bungalow could not ask for more.

20 minutes from a local town and supermarket and amazing walks close by, even on the doorstep. Will be coming back next year with the dogs to explore some more. Thank you Huw & Tracey

What a lovely place Gwynant is to stay!

The best holiday stay so far it is peaceful, clean and very comfy the views are lovely to wake up to and my son loved saying hello to the sheep, we had a wonderful time and the weather was kind to us also, we certainly would love to you return.

Superb accommodation, very clean and well equipped.

View from the property was wonderful. We just wished the front garden had been totally secure for the dog to be able to run freely (as he does in our small garden at home) rather than always on a lead - especially when it was raining!

we had a lovely week, gwynant was comfy and quiet and had all the things we needed for our stay and it was nice to see the sheep at the back in the morning.

we also had a great sunday lunch at the Teifi inn which helped to make it a very enjoyable stay, thank you

Gorgeous cottage with amazing views.

The cottage is beautifully done with a lovely modern kitchen and bathroom. We were so mesmerised by the views from the lounge window and the walk along Cors Caron that we didn't end up travelling too far from the cottage for days out. We felt so relaxed and at peace watching the views and being in the comfort of the cottage. Our dog was also mesmerised by the views and enjoyed her walks. Huw the owner was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack. Hope to be back next year. Many thanks

An immaculately clean, fully modernised and perfectly maintained property.

With everything provided and more...making this a brilliant home to home experience. In addition the views from the property of unspoilt countryside are exceptional irrespective of the changeable weather we experienced.

Gwynant is a gem of a cottage set in wonderful countryside.

It is clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The self check in suited us as we don't like to be tied to an arrival time however the owner is only a phone call away should anything arise. We enjoyed our stay very much and miss those wonderful views.

Lovely location and property

From the minute we arrived we were amazed by the cottage.

The views, the cozy feel and all the special little touches, this cottage has everything you could wish for from a holiday! The whole family, dogs included, have enjoyed the views from the garden. The bench is a lovely addition where we enjoyed the magnificent views! Words cannot express what a wonderful time we have had. We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to be here.

A lovely and quiet base for a hiking holiday along sections of the Ceridigion coast and inland.

The property was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Huw is very responsive to any queries about the property and local hikes. Overall, a great escape from the hustle and bustle of life.

Great cottage situated in a lovely part of the country.

This place is a gem.

I do a lot of mini breaks across the UK and Wales in particular, this beautiful bungalow is by far the best we have stayed in, fabulous value for money, short drives to all the coastal towns, a beautiful trail just 100 yards away for walking, it was spotless with new utilities, breathtaking views, ample parking and garden, everything you could possibly need was there and more. I will definitely be returning and shall recommend to others too! This place is amazing, thank you Tracey and Huw for hosting.
