Perfect space for us.

Vicky was lovely and the welcome pack very very generous and tasty! Great location to explore south Wales. Accommodation was superb- clean, modern, comfortable (even in such hot weather). We were even lucky enough to see barn owl each evening that nests in the roof. Shall definitely be returning asap! Thank you for such a wonderful base camp for our adventures!

From first booking up to us leaving school lodge and it's owners were great.

With great communication from the owners about any of our needs. When we arrived at the property the pictures didn't do it justice. It is spacious and airy giving even more room than you think you have. School Lodge was left for our arrival fresh and clean with a full information pack (and a little welcome basket for us and our 4 leg friends) which we were not expecting but was a lovely touch. The property has all the facilities that we needed for a comfy and relaxing stay and for making it a perfect base for our week of adventures. We would most definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in this area.

Spotless, cozy cottage with great facilities and well equipped.

Huge comfy beds. Hosts have great attention to detail and provided a lovely welcome basket. Plenty of things to do close by in this area. Secure pretty garden with lots of seating. Dog friendly and plenty of great walks. Highly recommend

Good information folder, including details on an amazing bakery in the village. Really good space for the dogs. Nice touch with the goodies on arrival. Lovely comfortable rooms.

Well equipped kitchen. Large enclosed garden. Downstairs toilet a bonus. Quiet area. Really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend. Definitely look to go again.

School Lodge was perfect for us & our 5 sizeable dogs.

Really secure garden with fake grass that made life easy given the weather. We visited Pleasant Meadow Dog field to give them all a good run in the morning and the garden & local walks gave them everything else they needed. School Lodge is spacious, very well equiped and everything works great incl wifi (no phone signal when we were there). It was also super clean - despite being dog friendly. For others with dogs, there are 2 lightweight benches that can be put on the sofa to stop dogs getting onto them if your dogs are as entitled as ours although I'd recommend taking big throws too, for piece of mind. Our stay was somewhat impacted by only one bedroom being made up on arrival, which I still don't understand as I booked School Lodge as 2 bed accommodation. Unfortunately because the host was away, no extra linen could be given to us until the 2nd day of our 2 night stay but we muddled through. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend School Lodge to others.

Our first impressions on entering the property were excellent.

It was spotlessly clean, a beautiful welcome basket was provided with generous provision of local produce. The instruction booklet was clear and informative and we felt at home immediately. The cottage was very well equipped and as the weather ended up being very snowy we had all we needed to snuggle down and enjoy the peaceful setting. We really appreciated a discreet call from the owner as the weather worsened checking if we needed shopping. Beds were extremely comfortable with high quality bedding. Garden was large and completely safe for our dogs as enclosed, included seating areas that we are keen to use when we return which we plan to later in the year. Ideally situated for a number of nearby CADW and National Trust properties and the National Botanic gardens. Good facilities in Llandeilo. Fuel, Supermarket, Pharmacy, award winning Cafe, independent shops.

Amazing house.

We loved this converted school house and found it to be comfortable, clean, well equipped and very spacious. Our 2 dogs loved the large garden, and the squirrels in the neighbouring trees :-D We will definitely be booking again in the future.

One of the cleanest cottages we have visited.

We stayed over the Christmas period and it was very well equipped and we coped with Xmas dinner with all the trimmings. There was a very cold snap whilst we were there and the cottage remained warm and cosy. Location is perfect if you want to relax as it’s so peaceful. Icing on the cake for us is the secure garden out the back that is plenty big enough for the dogs. Very easy to keep clean as there was sensible flooring down stairs with good quality cleaning equipment which meant we could pack up and leave in plenty of time.

Within a few miles of Llandeilo, well worth exploring. A good base to visit various attractions including Dinefwr, National Botanic Garden of Wales, Pembrey and Llyn Lech Owain Country Parks. Thankyou for the welcome pack and for allowing dogs.

Peaceful and so pleasant.

The area was stunning with the wildlife around the area being stunning with red kites and other birds flying around all day. The locals were so friendly and welcoming, we even went for lunch in the village hall with them which was a lovely invite. The dogs were so chilled out and happy at the accommodation it was so nice to not hear fireworks and such like. Many thanks to Vikki and Adam for making our break so easy. We will be going back again.

Such a lovely quiet little cottage that was suitable for our rescue dogs as the garden is secure.

This is a lovely cottage absolutely great for dog owners, tucked away in a quiet village with walks straight from the door.

Every thing about the accommodation was perfect, clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable, and the floors were easy to keep clean (we had 5 dogs and it rained every day!) the garden is a great space for families and 4 legged friends. Everyone we met in the village were friendly and gave us plenty of local info. We had a fabulous week and would love to re-book again in the future.

What an amazing stay … the property is in a really peaceful location , we took our 2 dogs and it was perfect for them, The garden is so secure and was perfect for them to explore.

The kitchen is so well equipped and the beds well the beds are so comfortable. Overall we loved the stay and kids loved the accommodation . The only feedback I would give is that it would have been nice to have a larger tv in the sitting room. Thank you so much and would definitely book again

The School Lodge was an absolute gem.

Exactly how it was described and spotless clean. You had everything you needed on a short break. Good location as you can go to the beach and The Green Bridge of Wales is about 1hour away. I would highly recommend staying in School Lodge and thia won't be the last time we stayed there.

Very comfortable (especially the beds!). Garden is fully enclosed for the dogs and there is an enclosed field nearby where you can let them off. Friendly locals. All as described. Would recommend.

Comfortable and well equipped cottage within a lovely rural village .

Enjoyed the lanes and the dog exercise area at the memorial hall. Events there should be advertised somehow. A hairdryer would have been helpful. Loved the space inside and the back garden and spent some time watching the birds finding food for their young.

Such a beautiful property in a lovely part of Wales. There is so much to do in the local area. The garden is so peaceful. This was the best equipped property we’ve been to. There is literally everything in the kitchen one could need and the beds are so comfortable. The hosts are so accommodating and genuinely lovely people.

I loved every second of our week in The school Lodge.

The cottage was really spacious downstairs and had literally everything you could need. It is at the end of a small lane so there is literally no outside traffic noise and you wake up to the sound of nature and the red kites soaring over the roof windows. We visited the local national trust property and grounds several times during our stay and had gorgeous walks with our dogs. Beaches are 40-50 minutes away and we visited several during our week. the beds are very comfortable and during the wet weather we sat in and watched films and chilled. This was just what I needed to reset after a tough few months.

What a lovely place School Lodge is.

The garden is well secured and perfect for dogs. The parking outside the cottage is brilliant as it’s outside the door. Images on the advert are a true representation of what the cottage looks like inside and out. Fully enjoyed our stay here and will be booking again.
