“We liked the cottage a great deal and the staff were lovely.”

We were only 6 people. More than that would struggle as only 1 bathroom and only 6 dining chairs. Basins in rooms was a bonus. Minor point, only one smallish frying pan available, not good for making pancakes for 6!
