This is lovely accommodation set in a beautiful tranquil setting.

A wonderful midweek break.

The views are stunning. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated. The owners had thought of everything in their information pack, from places to visit, places to eat out or take out and even local doctors and dentists. The barn itself was very well equipped, probably the best we've been to. Comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels. Nothing could beat sitting in the hottub with a glass of prosecco looking at the wonderful Welsh countryside. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a lovely little place, very clean and tidy.

Nice touch with the flowers and gifts on arrival. The hot tub was amazing, also very clean. WiFi was great. The 2 seater sofa wasn't very comfortable, so stuck the kids on that one. Place was lovely and warm even when we turned the heating off. There was a smell in the bathroom which we spoke to the owners about and they came straight up and put drain cleaner down and air fresheners in, this helped a little bit and should definitely be looked into. There was one clothes rack provided, maybe another would be good to dry towels as with showers and the hot tub in use everyday hard to dry them. In the summer would be OK as you could dry them on the line. Also the road in is tight and has a few pot holes so be careful with the car you bring. All in this is a great place to say and use again.

We had a lovely time.

Very comfortable and extremely clean. The only tiny thing was there was no casserole dish to cook with. Luckily, we bought one for a fiver at Lidl.

Lovely property in which me and my two friends came to visit!

The location is very much “in the middle of no where” and the nearest town with shops is 30 minutes away so if you are looking to relax, make sure to bring your own food or arrange for a Tesco delivery. It was a beautiful place and the air feels very fresh. The only thing is that there would be more items available such as washing up powder, and a sponge to clean our plates (more the pans that don’t go in the dishwasher)! The Netflix stopped working on the second night so we resorted to watching the olympics instead, so maybe a guide on how to use the TV would be appreciated. The fridge had a little carton of milk, eggs were provided and a bottle of bubbly (thank you). The owners were very patient whilst we were late checking out and they did not make a fuss so we really appreciated that we were not rushed to leave. Thanks so much, very lovely stay!!!

We had a brilliant stay and will definitely be returning everything was amazing.

There is only one thing that I personally think could make it better and that would be to put a large corner sofa in there that's the only think that could improve it but still a 10/10 for us

Dogs loved it too. Only downside was the grass could have been cut before hand but I understand it had been raining quite a lot so may not have been possible. WIFI cut out a few days after we arrived, however Lin was great and said we could use the empty property next door whenever we liked which was lovely of her to offer this. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise so Thank you. Would recommend to people looking for down time and lovely walks. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The property itself is pristine and a lovely place to stay, with one of the comfiest beds we’ve slept it!

The views are beautiful, especially from the hot tub. The only suggestions we would have are: 1. The Wi-Fi can be rather slow (but appreciate the location is quite far removed!) 2. The ability to turn off the fence light - the hot tub at night is a great way to see a starry night with the lack of light pollution, but the fence light diminishes that ability, and there’s no way of turning it off (that we could see).

We had a lovely stay here, so peaceful and such a lovely setting!

Perfect base for exploring and walking, if you want to have a complete chill out, this is the place and the hot tub is a bonus :)

Would definitely recommend going and we can't wait to book again. Bonus,is there are some lovely walks from the door step. Quite far from shops but if you go prepared your set for your holiday. Teddie the cocker spaniel, loved the enclosed garden, whilst the humans where enjoying the hot tub. If your thinking of booking, just do it you won't be disappointed.

Great additions such as dish washer and washing machine . Hot tub was superb ! Quite away from everything but that suited us fine ! Definitely be back and booking was just so easy .

A great holiday in a superb location.

1 Beacon View Barn is a spotlessly clean and comfortable bungalow set in a gloriously remote and rugged valley. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day's walking was a huge pleasure. Happy to report that the shower is also very good. The property's isolated location is blissfully quiet, but it does mean you'll need a car for the 'local' shop and excellent nearby pubs. We enjoyed some great hill walks right from the door and also further afield. Lin and James were very accommodating hosts and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

Beautiful property in wonderful rural surroundings, property was very comfortable with all the facilities you need with the added bonus of a hot tub.

just returned from a long weekend at beacon view 1 with our 3 children 15 , 10 and 1 year old more than enough space and very safe for the younger 2 also an enclosed garden to keep our bechion from wondering off , very clean has everything you could need veey peaceful and great views

Great accommodation that was clean, modern and had everything that was needed for a self catering holiday.

It was set in beautiful surroundings and waking up to wonderful scenery and sounds of sheep was great. Our holiday was at the end of November/early December and we were lucky that the weather was wonderful and waking up to a sprinkling of snow one morning was lovely. Sitting in the hot tub on cold evenings was an added bonus and on our last night sitting in it while a heavy snow blizzard was happening was delightful. We arrived after Storm Arwen which caused a few problems with the power but we were kept up to date by the owners who were lovely and sorted out a few problems which were caused by the power failure straight away. All in all a lovely holiday and will return for another stay.

It was set in a lovely peaceful area.

Couldn’t fault this place at all the hottub was amazing, the views were amazing. The place was so well equipped with everything you needed. Will 100% be coming back. Just the most amazing place to be.

The property surpasses all expectations.

Is in a setting that cannot be conveyed via description or photograph. Property is extremely clean and modern and so comfortable. Owners met us on arrival after road closures made us very late and they were so friendly all week. Such an enjoyable stay.

The 1 beacon view was very relaxing with amazing views, nice and remote with hottub on the patio with sunshine from rising until 7.

30 at night, bbq supplied and all fenced in so you could let your pet roam free and relax. Everything you need is provided in the barn so just bring your shopping or get it delivered then just relax.

We had the most amazing few days here.

Everything was better than we expected, even when it rained one day it didn’t stop us enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We could not fault it. We will definitely be back.

All your needs are catered for at the barn. The views are spectacular and the barns are of an exceptional standard. I wouldn’t holiday anywhere else now!

A well maintained and equipped holiday accommodation in a pleasant part of Wales with good walks to the local towns and villages.

Not too far from larger towns to do shopping or just to visit. The hosts were very helpful with our sons medical needs and equipment, and the little extras of tea, coffee, wine and flowers were very welcome after a long drive. Thank you for a great holiday.

The pictures really dont do the place justice, and when we got stuck in with the floods the owners couldn't have been any more helpful than they were, a truly fantastic experience and we will definitely be back.

The barn was a lot more than we expected and the facilities were excellent.

Could not of asked for anything more in this property. The views are unbelievable and the only thing you hear is the sheep which surround you. We was welcomed by fresh flowers, a bottle of prosecco and fresh eggs which was a lovely touch and not expected.

We had a really great stay here for a week during the October half term.

The cottage is plenty big enough for a family of four, clean and tidy. Fantastic views out over the valley with great walks straight out of the front door. It is a very remote area so be sure to stock up on supplies from the supermarket, which is a good half an hours drive away. Great communication with Lin and she was very helpful

Cottage was just perfect and exactly as pictures advertised.

We loved sitting in the hot tub looking at the beautiful scenery. A very peaceful location, the perfect place to relax. Welcome pack of Prosecco, Milk, Eggs, Flowers & doggy treats was a lovely thoughtful touch. Comfortable beds and comfortable reclining sofas. We had the perfect relaxing weekend and wish we had booked for longer.

The owner was so attentive to detail.

She even took note of the comment from the occupants immediately prior to our stay, by replacing the 2 damaged settees straight away! The welcome goodies were very much appreciated - especially by our 4 footed companion!

The main bedroom bed seemed very squeaky and would wake us up during the night could do with a new bed overall a lovely place to be

Our barn was really nice, high spec and spacious.

The settees could really do with an upgrade (very uncomfortable) but apart from that everything was wonderful. The hot tub was fantastic just sitting there watching the world go by. Very remote and very quiet!! Perfect

Absolutely fantastic holiday, myself, my partner & our pooch absolutely loved it.

So much so, we’re returning again this year.

The whole place is gorgeous, the only thing I can think of is that the beds are very squeaky.

Very friendly host, the accommodation was excellent and the tub one of the best I have experienced.

Very quiet ideal for a relaxing few days with lovely views of the surrounding hills, free view of TV so no sky. A DVD player is provided to plug the gap. But bring your own DVDs. Will probably go again.

This place was absolutely perfect!

The location is ideal if you really want to get away from it all. The barn is tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. The only thing we could not find whilst there was a hair dryer so make sure to bring your own. The owners were very helpful in supplying us with more eggs on our stay and the welcome hamper was a really nice touch. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and we still managed a dip despite the dreadful weather. I would highly recommend this barn and i'm sure we will be returning!

The lodge is just like the pics so clean well equipped with everything you need !! Lovely touch eith the welcome pack which had processco so i was happy lol ! Cannot praise the place enough, all you need to bring with you is yourselves, food and cloths, literally.

The Cottage and garden were spotless, Lin, the lady who runs the places was so helpful and could not do enough for us, and what’s more she is happy to deal with anything you want or require at any time day or night. The WiFi is limited to 25Gb for seven days which is more than enough unless you want to stream video’s etc, the download speed is around 15 to 20Mbs which again is very good and more than enough, my wife and I used about 4Gb in the first week. There is no mobile signal or 3 or 4G, however WiFi Calling worked fine. The large flatscreen TV in the Living Room is a smart TV, we brought a small USB Hard Drive with Movies on which worked fine for the evenings. There is a Freeview box as well as DVD player and to top it all about 30 Movie DVD’s provided for you to watch if you wish. As far as we are concerned you could not wish for more, oh by the way the hot tub just outside the door is spot on and the garden is FULLY ENCLOSED so if you have a dog he will be well safe and not able to escape. WELL DONE LIN

Beacon View Barns are beautifully decorated and surrounded by amazing views of the countryside.

We have felt very welcome and the owners are very friendly and helpful during our stay. Our dog loved the lovely walks and his doggy treats that welcomed us as we got there. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday enjoying the views whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Very tranquil. Everything we needed and our dog definitely enjoyed his holiday.

1 Beacon View Barn in July. It’s in an idyllic spot, where the only noise you can hear is the occasional sheep bleating & the view is just stunning from the front of the property. The barn is beautifully decorated, with comfy seating, big wardrobes, high ceilings and a great rainfall shower. The kitchen was really well equipped (better than ours at home I think!) & the welcome basket with prosecco, eggs and dog treats was a lovely touch. The garden is safely enclosed which was great for our dog – she loved sitting on the patio staring at the sheep in the fields. Lin & James (the owners) came & introduced themselves & made sure we knew how to contact them if needed. They’re very friendly & have lots of advice about places to walk & eat which is great if you don’t know the area – there is also a good supply of maps and tourist attraction leaflets in the barn. There are some good walks you can do from the doorstep and it’s only a short drive to some nice towns & pubs. We had a great time exploring during the days, then relaxing in the hot tub sipping wine in the evenings looking at the view. We only stayed for a week but felt so relaxed and recharged by the time we headed home, we’re already starting to plan our next visit!

The open air the property was superb Mrs Lin Jones must be congratulated on her interior design and general all round decor,the wonderful views when we were relaxing in the hot tub and a great sense of relaxation,coupled with the welcome gifts ie pro secco eggs and going above and beyond when we lost an item and she returned it to us the very next day.

Perfect weekend away!

The barn was gorgeous and secluded, everything we needed was in the barn. Can’t wait to come back already! The owner was very helpful and left us a lovely little welcoming gift of fresh eggs, prosecco and flowers.

We spent three nights and had a great stay here, really enjoyed. The hot-tub and the floor heating is a bonus. The surrounding area and the barn are great, with a nice view over the valley, very quiet and peaceful place, truly relaxing. The beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped, free Wi-Fi available. The owners very nice people, and the welcome pack... we really enjoyed it.
