Beautiful cottage, amazing views.

Cottage very clean and well equipped. Eileen is a lovely lady and kind host, she left us a welcome pack and personally welcomed us to the cottage. We stayed during the extreme heatwave and she checked on us to make sure we were cool enough, even supplying us with choc ices. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend the accommodation.

Perfect cottage in lovely location.

Very clean, comfortable and well positioned for exploring the mid Wales area.

This visit was our second time, we holiday in Wales every year for 40+ years and have stayed in many properties over the years but this holiday accommodation is the best, formerly this property was stables for the farm it was converted some years ago into two beautiful self catering holiday cottages, with original wooden beams and carefully decorated to keep the charm and character what's not to love, Eileen the owner who lives in the farmhouse is a wonderful host she goes out of her way to make sure your stay is perfect, always happy to help and leaves you a homemade cake to start your holiday along with milk, eggs, Eileen also offers to do your washing if you get a bit mucky can't go wrong booking your holiday here at the Stables or the Granary cottages.

We can't wait to go back....

Absolutely the best cottage that we have ever rented, such a homely welcoming cottage.

A perfect location for exploring Mid. Wales, Eileen was lovely as a host and always there if you needed anything. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We would not hesitate to recommend staying there. It was clean inside and out on a well kept farm. Fantastic views, a perfect location for relaxing.

you're not too out in the sticks but comfortable, tesco delivered sorted us for the week, i really didn't want to go anywhere, and we could love a cottage like this ourselves! can't wait to come back again! Mrs Jones is such a lovely hostess! xx

The Stables was a beautiful cottage to stay in.

So tastefully decorated and had everything you needed. Eileen the owner of the cottage was so lovely and welcoming. She thought of everything to make you feel at home with her homemade Bara Brith! and a few groceries. My granddaughter didn’t want to go home she loved her time staying at The Stables and visiting Wales. Thank you Eileen.

Lovely cottage, warm, welcoming, well equipped and characterful, providing all our family of 2 adults and 2 children, needed for our New Year stay.

The views in all directions are great, and although we didn’t get much time to explore the local footpaths, getting out to enjoy the countryside is easily achieved. The local village offered 2 pubs, they were basic but ticked the box, there is a fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway, village shop and a very good butchers that we used. The cottage had a slow cooker in one of the cupboards, we had planned our catering before we arrived so didn’t use it, but a good stew after a day out was tempting. The owner was lovely, on hand for help and local advice if wanted and she left a very generous welcome pack. There isn’t a dishwasher, although the view from the window above the sink made washing up less of a chore and ideally, we could have done with a slightly bigger fridge for our family of 4 but this wouldn’t stop us from recommending The Stables, we considered it great value for money and well worth visiting.

Pristinely clean, surprisingly well equipped, comfortable and well situated. The welcome milk, eggs and homemade cake were gratefully received, after a long journey. We also loved the dark skies and country views. Eileen was a great and welcoming host. We were sorry to leave.

The owner (Eileen) is on site at the nearby farmhouse and is one of the warmest, most caring and helpful people you could ever meet.

The property is furnished and finished to a very high standard with loads of nice touches, the cottage was spotless when we arrived. There was some homemade Bara Brith waiting for us, along with milk and eggs. A beautiful peaceful location with open countryside views, with shops and amenities only a short drive away, this place is ideally situated for exploring the Mid Wales.

Our accommodation was so comfortable, lovely seating out back and front to enjoy the countryside, sunsets and sunshine. Inside had all you needed. Eileen baked us a Bara Brith, plus eggs and milk for arrival.The fluffy dressings gowns were luxurious. the host took our washing and delivered next day, no cost! She is such a character and so friendly, nothing too much trouble. You have to drive the stunning roads through the National parks. No negatives at all, comfy, cosy, clean, slept so well. Just what we needed.

The owner (Eileen) is very attentive and treated us with a homemade cake, chocolates, eggs and some milk. Nothing was a bother for her and she made us feel very welcome. Will go back for sure!

The Stables was a home from home, and immaculate throughout.

Lovely location with peaceful surroundings which acted as a great base if you wanted to venture out for the day. Eileen was lovely and nothing was any trouble, we came away feeling refreshed and will definately return.

The property is finished and furnished to a very high standard and was spotless when we arrived. There was even some of Eileen's gorgeous bara brith waiting for us, along with milk and eggs. Parking is right outside the front door. We had a very relaxing and comfortable four nights here and will certainly return. The sooner the better! This place was the perfect getaway for us - we needed some peace quiet and relaxation and our stay at The Stables delivered in bucket loads.

We can honestly say that we wanted for nothing, the property is very well equipped, it was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean and very well maintained to high standard throughout. Eileen made us feel very welcome and her Bara Brith was delicious too.

Photos don't do it justice. So peaceful and beautiful with panoramic views. The accommodation is of the highest quality and standards. Loved the rear garden which is ideal for relaxation. A lovely part of Wales to visit with lots of interesting places to see. Eileen the owner is lovely and so helpful. We will hopefully return before too long. Amazing value for the price.

The Stables is a great cottage in a beautiful setting, run by a really lovely and helpful owner.

It is peaceful, with just the sheep for company. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. There are plenty of useful facilities only a short drive away, as well as lots of attractions for young and old. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was excellent in every respect from the comfy beds to the cake and biscuits on arrival even milk and eggs.

The host was so friendly and helpful and provided all we could possibly need, indeed going above and beyond.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable in a wonderful and peaceful location. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would highly recommend to anybody, definitely one of the best properties we have stayed in and we will certainly be returning. The area is also very beautiful with lots of walks to do.

Eileen was absolutely lovely and was a great hostess!

Everything was immaculate! We barely left the cottage it was absolutely stunning! The Bara Brith was stunning! The bed is super comfy, plus bunk beds proved a hit with our son, who used both of them during his stay! we have absolutely no complaints, the shower could do with a bit more pressure but you can't have everything, superb stay, and can't wait to come again! Diolch yn fawr x

Exceptional hostess in Eileen, warm, friendly, helpful yet unobtrusive.

The Stables provided a well equipped, warm comfortable base from which we explored beautiful mid Wales. The conversion from dilapidated farm buildings to stylish holiday accommodation has been very well done both inside and out making the most of stunning views and sunsets. Very likely to return.

The cottage is the perfect luxury stay in beautiful countryside. The cottage was modern, very clean and cosy. We were even left mince pies and fresh eggs! We will definitely be back to stay in the summer. Thank you!

If you fancy a real get-away break, surrounded by seemingly endless rolling countryside, with a touch luxury, then look no further.

My Wife and I were amazed at the high quality of the cottage yet it still retains a wonderful homely feel, full of rustic charm. The only thing that I could think of as a negative is how utterly sad I felt when our holiday came to an end and we had to go home! Excellent host, no intrusion whatsoever but there if you require anything. Home made cake on arrival was another unexpected delight too. Highest possible recommendations from us in every aspect.

It was very well equipped with everything you need and was extremely clean and welcoming. The owner was also very helpful and friendly. Great location for mid wales and walking but a little further for the coast. Would definitely recommend this property and would consider booking again.

Everything from the welcome of the owner through to the facilities of the property were nothing short of excellent - with the exception of the Broadband.
