Perfectly situated just a few miles outside of Llanidloes, with access to cycling, walking, fishing and swimming, this traditional-style accommodation is perfect for those looking to combine a spot of relaxation with an abundance of outdoor activities.
Enter the cottage into a cosy arrangement within the sitting room, just off from here is the farmhouse kitchen with a dining area, and up the open-tread staircase is a set of bedrooms.
The spacious twin is accompanied by a charming double room, each neutrally designed, with ample storage, bedside tables and reading lamps.
There is a also shower room next door for your convenience.
Outside, you have a shared garden to the rear, a wonderful social space to dine alfresco and take in the views.
The front of the cottage boasts a quaint bistro set, perfect for sitting out for your morning coffee and newspaper.
Close by, you have all the amenities of Llanidloes, along with The Severn Way leading to the source of the River Severn.
You can explore the Hafren Forest and choose from several waterfall walks of different lengths, or visit the National Trust's Powis Castle and admire the views from its Italianate terrace or delve into a world of fascinating artifacts from from Europe, India and the Orient.
Aberystwyth and Aberdovey can also be easily reached from here.

Told no central heating in summer.
3 bath towelsfor 3 people for four nights .no face towels.no cearl bowls for breakfast had to ask answer was people normally eat out side .not going back. I BLAME SYKES FOR NOT CHECKING .TO MAKE ME STAY WITH SYKES I NEED PARTIAL REFUND .WOULD BE GOOD.
Great place to stay with absolutely amazing views and lovely gardens.
Situated in a beautiful part of mid Wales and convenient for the small town of Llanidloes with a supermarket and some other small shops and cafes. We stayed during the very hot week in June and the cottage remained fairly cool downstairs, though hotter upstairs. Would like to stay again sometime.
Cedar cottage is a delightful cottage which is very comfortable and very clean.
It has a large lounge and a well equipped kitchen diner, more than big enough for a party of four. The bathroom is again a good size with a great shower and plenty of hot water. Outside, there are wonderful views of the Severn Valley. Llanidloes has a number of eateries should you decide to eat out locally. The town is ideally suited for easy trips to the coast via some beautiful scenic mountain drives close such as to Machynlleth or to Devil's Bridge/Aberystwyth via the Elan Valley. It is a great place to stay.
