What guests are saying
there was a fly issue that really needs sorting, and some cleaning products would be helpful for after using the kitchen eg antibacterial wipes/ spray.
lovely stay overall
We had a lovely stay at Meadow retreat, the Lodge was quiet and peaceful with great views.
The lodge was the perfect space to explore Wales, the hot tub and marshmallows were perfect after a long day out. Our only negative about the property/stay would be the sheer amount of flies inside the property. Fortunately, we had great weather so we could sit outside, as it would have been impossible to sit inside with the amount of flies swarming daily. Another guest checked in and immediately came and asked us if we also had a severe fly issue - so this must have been a problem for most of the guests on this particular weekend. This may just be down to the location, the weather or the animals - but further efforts could be made to reduce the flies. Overall, we really enjoyed out stay, we would definitely book again and recommend to friends.
We loved the beautiful setting and the hot tub!
Watching the sheep roam freely was such a delight!
