Tegfan Barn

The barn at Tegfan was absolutely stunning.

The photos don't it justice to how beautiful it really is with it's quirky bee theme and thoughtfully decorated. It was well stocked up, the welcome pack was very kind and the bottle of milk was nicely appreciated. It is a lovely rural retreat which was great for my husband and I to celebrate our 1st anniversary. It was so nice to get away from it all and the hot tub was blissful after our walking around Elan Valley on the hottest May day of the year. Plus watching the stars from the hot tub was so relaxing. We will definitely look at coming back in the autumn/winter time.

Lovely barn conversion in rural Wales.

Didn't get an opportunity to meet the hosts, but waved at them as they were going about their day. All very comfortable and clean with really thoughtful welcome pack. Great location, we did some really nice walks and watched the Kite feeding which was amazing. Equally had a day just enjoying the hot tub and views.

Hot tub amazing, wood fire was delightful in the cold weather and the whole place cosy and exactly what we were looking for - a post Christmas break after a busy period.

The property is so cosy and we loved the decor. The hot tub was clean and made it a great holiday too. Everything was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Although the weather wasn’t great we enjoyed being in the cottage and visiting a lot of the local attractions. We would definitely like to return sometime. Thanks also for the lovely treats.

this was the loveliest little cottage, the facilities were beautiful and so well cleaned, only problem was the upstairs tv didn’t work but it wasn’t the end of the world.

Beautiful place, peaceful and exactly as described.

The decore is very tastefully done. The fire was amazing and easy to use. The bed is super comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen including extras which you always need but may not bring. Washing up liquid and kitchen foil. Hot tub was perfect at the end of the day. To relax and enjoy the view, along with the odd red kite passing by. Perfect, loved everything. Ant and Jo.

This break was fantastic and well needed.

The barn is beautiful inside and out. The views by day are stunning from sunrise to dusk. The night time hot tub stargazing was something else. Seeing planets and stars that I wouldn’t see where I live. Will def be visiting again as so much still to see around there.

Genuinely perfect converted barn, place was immaculate, kitchen had all the utensils you would need for a stay.

Spotlessly clean, such a beautiful little cottage

Amazing Accommodation, perfect for relaxing.

The hot tub was an experience and a half , clean, perfect temperature on arrival. Didnt need to contact the owners as everthing was in place. The only thing was ceiling as entering bedroom is abit low. But get used to it after a few bangs

Absolutely love both of your cottages, so well thought out and well stocked.

The only recommendation I would make is that the fire rope on the indoor stove could do with being a grade thicker as it lets in so much air that the fire burns too fiercely and quickly. Other than that I can’t wait for our next stay. Absolutely great hosts and a wonderful place. Thanks so much

Fabulous cosy little place with good facilities.

Ideal location with Rhayader just 10 minutes away by car with a good selection of pubs. Watching the Red Kites circle overhead from the hot tub was a real treat.

We had such an incredible stay at Tegfan Barn.

Everything was so well thought out, the kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need, there was a delightful welcome pack of goodies waiting for us when we arrived and a selection of board games too we could use too. The hot tub was such a great feature, it was so lovely to be able to come back after a long day of exploring places like Elan Valley and Hafren Forest, and relax in there under the stars! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here and we hope to be back!! Thank you Leanne and Graham

The property was great we really enjoyed our stay.

Location is fantastic and a beautiful view over the hills. We had everything we needed in the kitchen area to be able to cook a full meal. We arrived and there was a welcome pack with crisps, drink ect…. Which was a really nice surprise. Everything was of a high standard. Only part we found hard was the parking space next to the house was very tight and tough to be able to turn around without having to use the next door drive. And the sofa bed was abit uncomfortable but the main bed was really nice.

The property felt very homely, we loved the hot tub and the view.

The privacy was something we were looking for. The location provided a perfect base for exploring the Gilfach Nature Reserve as well as the coast. We would highly recommend this for a romantic break and hope to come back one day.

Tegan barn was a cosy place to stay.

It is nestled in amongst beautiful welsh mountains and the views from the hot tub are amazing. Red kites were nesting in nearby trees and would often circle overhead. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well sticked with all the essential utensils. The 2 smart TVs were an added bonus and we loved the hot tub. All in all a great place to stay

The property was well maintained, tastefully decorated, comfortable and a pleasure to stay at.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more and we will definitely be returning in the future for another stay.

It is a beautiful cottage with great activities for the family in the local area. Leanne & Graham are very friendly hosts and we would not hesitate in recommending the cottage to others.

What a little gem of a place.

We had an absolutely wonderful break here last week. The property was even better than the pictures show, clean and offered everything required. Cosy but not cramped, welcoming and the hot tub is amazing! Perfectly situated for a week of fun. Can't wait to return

This property was absolutely amazing.

My partner and I came here for a winter getaway and it was hard to leave as we fell in love with the cottage. Waking up to the quiet countryside and sheep right outside our window was lovely! The owners were very attentive too and helped us as best as they could. The bed is soo comfy and all the amenities are perfect. Only recommendation would be to have a few more essentials there like salt/paper/washing machine detergent. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I booked this property as a last weekend away with the family before I deployed overseas with a Army.

The property is beautifully decorated and very clean, a cosy little gem in the centre of Wales. On arrival, there were cupcakes, refreshments and milk in the fridge, which was a lovely touch.

The barn was absolutely fantastic and in the perfect location.

It had everything we needed for a mini break away. Thank you so much for the welcome treats too - they went down a storm!

The barn space is so thoughtfully put together and well equipped and makes for a wonderful base to visit the local area which is also beautiful.

Tegfan barn was amazing.

Even nicer than it looked online. When we arrived the lemonade and cupcakes were such a lovely touch. The place was so clean we wondered if we were the first to stay! The hot tub was immaculate and private and the listing does not do the views justice.

Beautifully decorated barn.

When you walk in it smelt lovely and clean. Everything you would need has been thought of and the little touches like milk and tea and coffee was lovely. Hot tub was amazing. A little relaxing birthday break away.

Absolutely first rate.

Really easy to find in a superb location, just under 5 miles from Rhayder. The views from the garden are beautiful where you can sit and watch nature go by, especially the red kites swooping down. Inside is beautiful decorated with everything you could wish for including a wood burning fire, and even a 2nd TV to watch in bed. The property was spotlessly clean throughout. The hot tub is simply the best for relaxing and star gazing, the night sky is incredible. There is also a large BBQ and fire pit for you to use The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and have done an amazing job with the property. The nearby Elan Valley is stunning with some of the best scenery I have ever seen. Book now!

The property was clean and smelt lovely as we walked through the door.

There is everything you need (just as you would have everything at home). The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We would recommend this property to our friends and family and would consider staying there again.

Such a lovely place to stay, very clean barn with good facilities.

Kitchen fully equipped and everything worked well. Bathroom small but all works, heated towel rail was a great fit for after using hot tub. Specifically chose this accommodation so it would be comfortable for my over 6ft partner and everything was perfect for him. Hot tub was lovely and great view over the fields, we saw lots of red kites and swifts which just made our trip. Met one of the owners and he was so lovely! We had just a fantastic time and feel well relaxed! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful barn conversion, small but it has everything you need for a relaxing break.

Hot tub was excellent. There are views all around and it is quiet and secluded so you feel away from it all.

Our break lived way beyond our expectations.

The barn is absolutely stunning, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. We’ve enjoyed every minute, more than we could ever imagine.
