Knap Cottage
Description
Maenclochog 3.5 miles.
Knap Cottage is a charming single-storey stone-built cottage that sits amongst a group of converted farm buildings in the heart of Pembrokeshire in the quaint village of Llys-y-frân. Benefiting from easy touring distance to both the coast and country, this homely dwelling makes a wonderful choice for a family escape to Wales.
Park up in the courtyard before following the path to the stable door, where you will be greeted by a lawned area resting at the foot of this delightful abode, providing a lovely spot to soak in the evening sun with your favourite tipple following a day of adventure.
Venturing indoors, be welcomed into the open-plan living space, boasting a high beamed ceiling and traditionally decorated with whitewashed stonework and a warming woodburning stove; a truly cosy space to snuggle up in front of the television as the fire crackles nearby.
Utilise the range of contemporary amenities provided in the kitchen to whip up a hearty meal before loading the dishwasher and gathering together at the nearby dining table to indulge.
As the day draws to a close, wash away the day with a quick rinse in the walk-in shower enclosure before retiring to either of the two thoughtfully laid out bedrooms to rest your head, with the choice between a double or a twin.
With so much to see and do, choose Knap Cottage as your base for your next getaway to Wales.

What guests are saying
We had an amazing stay at this cottage and felt at home straight away.
It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, with everything you could possibly need. The cottage is situated in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by beautiful scenery, with lots to see and plenty of lovely walks right on your doorstep. The children’s playground was a great bonus, and the pool was another fantastic extra. We didn’t use it as much as we thought we would because the weather was so lovely and we spent most of our time out exploring. The location is brilliant, as it’s close enough to bigger towns and cities as well as the coastline, so we managed to see and do so much during our six-day stay. We enjoyed beautiful walks, saw seals, visited a waterfall and the beach, and did some hiking. There was always something to explore. The owners and the other guests staying at the cottage were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful whenever we needed anything, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with plenty to explore nearby. We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back in the future!
