Daffodil Cottage

We had a very peaceful stay, you could literally hear a pin drop!

Some lovely walks from the property and plenty to explore further afield. Rosie was warm and friendly but not intrusive. The cottage had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. We’re hoping to go back next year.

Splendid cottage with mainly new fixtures and fittings.

Rosie has clearly put a lot of thought into setting it up. Ideal for short relaxing breaks or even more extensive walking holidays. Dogs loved the streams for paddle and cold drink. The steps to enter the cottage and the single step inside on the way to the bathroom would both benefit from a handrail for elderly or disabled, but overall this is an A***** property.

Myself and Cooper (dog) had a great stay at the Cottage.

It was perfect for us. On lovely quiet, safe and beautiful grounds with everything we needed including parking. The cottage is very spacious. The living area is open planned with the kitchen, sofa, tv, table etc. All super clean and well provisioned. The large bedroom was great and the double bed was very comfy with nice pillows etc. The bathroom is big with a nice shower. Rosie and family are lovely and gave some great suggestions for walks and restaurants. I'd highly recommend Daffodil Cottage and hope to visit again.

We had an absolutely wonderful week at Daffodil Cottage.

The cottage was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The bed and pillows were excellent and we enjoyed good night’s sleep. The weather was very hot and so we were delighted to have the stream at the side of the house and Dingley Dell, a pond our puppy learned to swim in and we enjoyed cooling off with a paddle. We loved the local area. It was our first visit to the south of Wales. I feel sure it won’t be our last. The owners were extremely friendly, offering suggestions of places to visit. We will definitely be back

Daffodil Cottage is is a cosy and comfortable cottage owned and run by Rosie and Adam both of which could not have been more helpful.

The cottage is ideally situated for a quiet break, but also a great place to stay if you want to go hiking or touring the area.

If you’re looking for holiday accommodation in a quiet, peaceful, beautiful location, surrounded by amazing countryside with lovely walks from the cottage, then this is the place for you.

There’s woodland, mountains, meadows, rivers and waterfalls all on your doorstep which was great for our dog Charlie.The owners are friendly and helpful if you need them, they even brought us a large fan as we’d stayed during the recent hot spell. I would definitely recommend this place and I’m sure we’ll be back sometime in the future.
