Could not of picked a better cottage as the owners said we arrive as guests and leave as friends.

Definetly will be going again.

An absolutely amazing break away, the owner of the property is just brilliant and showed us around the working farm and saw the pigs and cows.

Felt us feel welcome and gave us great recommendations on visiting the local area. Would 100% recommend and will be visiting again in the future. The accommodation was just spectacular for a home from home week away. Thank you Mr and Mrs Evans! Love the Burton and Maskery family and of course little Molly xx

The cottage was cosy, welcoming, spacious and very well appointed.

Mr. and Mrs. Evans and family were friendly, helpful and we left the farm feeling we had made new friends. We spent time with the cows and pigs which was fantastic. We had a very enjoyable stay and will be back.

My family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is luxurious with everything you need to be able to enjoy your holiday. The photo’s as good as they are don’t emphasise what is far better in person. As an avid watcher of Clarkson and Harry’s Farm, it was a real treat for Mr Evan’s to take time out of his day and show my family and I around the farm. Moreover, we were provided with real insight into dairy and pig farming, and just how difficult farming has become under successive governments . Politicians, take note and visit a farm and you’ll see how real and genuine the people are. A real asset to UK plc. A highly recommended holiday with so many local places to visit and eat, especially if you have National Trust access.

Fabulous place, has everything that you could need, kitchen was incredibly well equipped.

Cottage is situated well, close to lovely beaches, shopping in 3 different towns, local pub does an awesome Sunday roast, local Italian restaurant La Calabria is a do not miss.

All the rooms are large, spacious, clean and well appointed. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything a cook or chef may require, and with lots of cupboard space. Very peaceful location, but with easy access to The Coastal Path, Fishguard, Carmarthen, and a bit further the Pembrokeshire National Park. Mr and Mrs Evans and their son are very welcoming and helpful. It was lovely to be given a visit to their prize pigs and cattle. Great place for a family holiday. Highly recommended.

We’ve just arrived home from a fabulous week in this cottage.

From arrival we were welcomed by the lovely family who own the farm and made sure anything we needed wasn’t too much trouble as well as showing us around their farm to meet the pigs. The cottage itself was fantastic, probably the best we’ve stayed in. Lovely and warm, well equipped kitchen, brilliant sized rooms, kids loved the jacuzzi bath and everything was such a high standard it felt very luxurious. We couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back.

A lovely holiday barn with lots of space, warm and cosy with amazing hosts that make you feel very welcome.

We were extremely impressed with the property and all the accessories provided also the owners were very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them.

We would seriously recommend the facilities to anyone and hopefully we will be able to go again.

We have a very enjoyable stay and the owner could not have been more friendly, helpful and considerate.

We enjoyed the fact that it is a working farm with pigs and cattle and is set in lovely countryside. The accomodation is spacious and well appointed, although there where one or two minor things that needed a little maintenance. However this did not detract from what is a great place to stay. There is plenty for the family to do within a short drive and the coastline and beaches are glorious. Thanks Teifi and family.

Beautiful property finished to a high standard.

Location is great. 15 minutes from New Quay. 1 hour to St.Davids, Aberystwyth and Tenby. Set in a working farm and the family are friendly and helpful. The lounge and dining is all open plan and the kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cupboard space. Utility room, 3 bathrooms. 2 double bedrooms and a single. No garden but there is a lovely space out front with outside seating /dining and a BBQ to use. We loved it .

We had a very enjoyable stay in lovely accommodation.

The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We enjoyed seeing the piglets and calves, children would love this venue.

Ysgubor uchaf is a fantastic property, beyond our expectations, the pictures do not do it justice, if you want peace & quiet this is the place.

We absolutely loved the property -it was more than we expected.

The hosts were perfect and couldn’t do enough for us. It’s difficult to find any fault with the property except perhaps a coat rack to hang anoraks ( especially when wet). Also my 88yr old Mum had the single room & would’ve liked a bedside table & lamp. But otherwise 110%!!!!

We had a lovely relaxing stay, the cottage was excellent, the all family were really helpful, and lovely people.

nothing was too much trouble. I would and have recommended it to a lot of my neighbours and friends, already. We will be returning, many thanks guys.

Lovely accomodation, owners very friendly and helpful and informative of the local area.

Really enjoyed our break - 4 adults and two grandchildren.

Quite a few issues when we arrived, light bulb missing in the bedroom bedside lamp, no plug in ensuite bathtub, door didn't stay closed in bedroom, tumble dryer tripped out the electrics, downstairs shower temperature couldn't be adjusted. The owners happily came to inspect and some of the issues were rectified. We were also surprised we didn't receive a welcome pack as this is usual in all sykes cottages we have previously stayed in, however the owners did provide a dozen eggs at no charge. As we were leaving we had to retrieve a toy from behind a sofa, It was very dusty and didn't appear to have had a deep clean for a while. Mr and Mrs Evans were very friendly and were helpful with advice on where we should visit. The grandchildren loved their stay and thanks to Mr Evans for allowing our eldest grandchild to sit in his tractor and explore the farm.We had the pleasure of seeing one day old piglets, great base to stay for exploring the area around Cardigan and further afield.

Mr & Mrs Evans were very kind to us and always on hand to assist.

Beautiful area to explore, we particularly enjoyed the dolphin watch boat trip from New Quay and actually saw more dolphins in the bay than anywhere else in the world we have been. We hope to return.

Clean and tidy. Very roomy. Owners were lovely. Checking regularly to ensure all was well. Knowledgeable about the area.

Fantastic hosts and a great place to stay, and our kids especially enjoyed seeing the new calves and pigs.

We had a very enjoyable holiday, the owners were very accommodating and the area was beautiful, we were able to visit all the main towns in the locality.

We walked some of the costal path and our dog had a run on the beach at Aberporth every day. We would return to this area and would be happy to stay at this accommodation again, it was warm, comfortable and well equipped.

Really enjoyed our first holiday in Wales.

The owners made us feel really welcome and we visited the new piglets every day. The house was spacious and lovely with everything we needed. Would love to come back.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday at the cottage.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly. The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful, it had everything we needed and more. Very cosy and clean. Probably one of the best and nicest cottages we have stayed in. The cottage is set on a working farm and we loved being able to see the calves and piglets each day. The surrounding areas are lovely and so many places fo visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would recommend it to anyone!

A really nice farm building conversion that is well equipped and kitted out nicely.

Nice quiet rural location with good local walks and runs. The family are very friendly and helpful. Bella the spaniel is also very friendly, not sure how helpful she is though :)

The hosts:- Kind, friendly, accommodating and engaging. The Accommodation:- Beautiful, will easily accommodate a family. Has everything you need and more. Good WIFI, warm and cosy, yet spacious. The location:- Away from it all, but near enough to everything you need. I will be going again

The owners were welcoming and friendly.

We were allowed to go see the animals with our daughter, which she loved. The house was comfortable and we felt very much at home there. The property was child friendly, and the owners provided both highchair and travel cot, but also put baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. While we tend to visit different places for our holidays, we will definitely be looking to return one day, it was fabulous.

We had a great week and enjoyed the farm and the beach. The house was excellent and well equipped we are keen to return.

A very comfortable well equipped holiday home.

As 2 couples it had everything we needed great kitchen plenty of fridge space. Lovely lounge/dining area with large screen surround sound system and Sky TV. Comfy leather sofas. The farm was great with fresh farm pork on offer. We had a great time visiting the surrounding areas incl coastal walks, lots of castles and open spaces as well as amazing beaches within half an hr. Would recommend for couples or family groups and our hosts were extremely hospitable.

Had a really relaxing week in this lovely cottage which is set within beautiful farmland and with easy reach of the coast.

Lots of space and well equipped with lovely friendly owners. The kitchen inventory is a bit random and it needs a deep clean but overall a great place to stay.

The cottage was amazing but trying to contact Sykes beforehand was almost impossible.

We were greeted with warmth and kindness by the family including the livestock to a beautifully converted barn, very well appointed, lots of space and very warm for a grey January break.

This was the best holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in.

The cottage was furnished comfortably and to a very high standard - I’d be more than happy to actually live there. The owners (the Evans family) were great making sure that we had everything we needed. We even had a tour of the farm on the quad bike. If you get the opportunity, make sure you try their homemade sausages - they’re delicious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is an outstanding farm property with on-site owners who are helpful, friendly and considerate, we arrived for Christmas and the owners had included a Christmas tree, Christmas napkins and table cloth - all the little extras that make Christmas special.

We loved seeing the cows and the daily workings of the farmers - the entire farm was spotless and the welfare standards amazing. The finish and quality of the cottage is otutstanding and the jacuzzi bath was a big hit, the underfloor heating is super efficient and the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer made life so easy. This property is large and spacious with plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teenage boys. I would highly recommend this cottage and am likely to return.

The cottage was spotless , I was not really expecting this on a farm I thought some dust and cobwebs would be normal , really high standard of cleanliness .

Lots of things to make life easy , well equipped kitchen , extra little touches like cling film , fly spray , bin bags etc. made this so comfortable . The owners were great , we arrived after 7.00 but the lady of the house still came down to check with us and said to let her know , she also checked the next evening as we did not chat with her the first night , extremely tired from are long journey . More than five star retreat .

We arrived at the cottage as discussed with owner and were greeted by the owners.

They gave info on the cottage and the surrounding area. They were available for any questions throughout our stay and were extremely helpful. The cottage was comfortable and well furnished and the owners family went out of their way to make our a visit something to remember. We would dearly love to return hopefully next year, it was a fantastic break which deserves a big thank you.

The owners made us feel very welcome and very friendly. We consider ourselves well travelled and have stayed in many places but this one has to be the best property that we've ever stayed in. Dog friendly too.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet location (it is a working farm, so not completely silent!

) The Evans family are so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The area is stunning, some beautiful beaches; Mwnt,(best Welsh cakes!) Newport, Poppit to name a few.

The only reasons l would not book this cottage again, is the fact that not getting any younger l found walking the dog up and down the hill was hard going.

Had the cottage got an enclosed area for the dogs it would have made things a lot easier. Everything else was perfect.
