Ideally situated between Laugharne and Pendine . Tea shop within walking distance.

Little Brook Cottage is a perfect holiday cottage, we had the best week and wished we had stayed longer, there’s honestly no fault or recommendations we would make.

The kitchen is so well equipped, and a lovely open space. We really appreciated the stairgate at both top and bottom of the stairs, all installed before our arrival. The little ones really enjoyed looking out of the top bedroom windows and seeing the cows in the morning, such a wonderful setting. We didn’t get to use the log burner, but hope to return one winter as it would be a very cosy place to stay. It’s a lovely added bonus that you can walk to the little cafe around the corner. To have the large driveway and garden as well is a real gem and not often found with holiday lets.

Accomodation was perfect, it has everything you need and more.

The outdoor space was good for the children to play after a day out exploring. The children loved being able to see the cow and even had the amazing chance of seeing a newborn calf. The host were impeccable, we forgot the children tablets at the accomodation on check out and they were already in the post for us by the afternoon. Would 100% recommend and will stay again if travelling to the region again.

Very comfortable, spacious bedrooms and large kitchen. Dog thoroughly enjoyed the large grass area and additions such as the patio furniture and the BBQ made for a very enjoyable summer break. Location was good - small hamlet close to a great café and a short distance from both Pendine and Laugharne. Owners were responsive and accessible when needed - we would 100% stay again.

Little Brook Cottage was everything described on the Sykes website and more.

We spent 2 weeks on holiday here and the time went in a blink of an eye. Both the cottage and garden were perfect. Cottage itself was very roomy, the kitchen and living room downstairs, were very well laid out and had everything we needed. From the living room we had a lovely view of the garden from the comfy sofa's, this meant in the evenings we could watch TV, read a book and still take in the beautiful views. We never got round to using them, but there were board games, jigsaws, books available to use. The kitchen was really well equipped, I do not think it lacked anything. We were able to cook a good breakfast each morning. Having the dishwasher and washing machine was a great benefit, did not have to do the big wash when we got home, both outside washing rotary and clothes airer for drying. It was lovely that Steve and his family had left, tea, coffee, milk and some cakes/biscuits for when we arrived, were very welcomed. I had organised a Tesco delivery for following day, so with these welcome nibbles and a breakfast the following morning at the café next door, did not have to bring loads of food with us. Upstairs both bedrooms were very roomy, plenty of storage and we found the bed super comfy. Now one very important, thing that especially, put the icing on the cake. Our fur baby Bella, loved her time here, garden was super safe, we double checked, but there was nowhere she could escape, she is a Lab to give you an idea of her size. We were there the time, when we had a few very hot days. Too hot to go far, the garden is a very good size and we were able to sit out, reading and relaxing in shade, enjoying the beautiful views, every couple of hours, we would put Bella's lead on her , take her out the gate, to the little brook that flows just outside and she would take a paddle and dip to cool herself down. Also during those hot days, we took her out early, drove the 3 to 4 minutes into Laugharne, park up at the castle, there is a lively stream/ ford there for a dip too. The cottage has cool flagstone flooring downstairs, so lovely for a very furry hot dog. Steve is a great guy, very friendly and made sure that we knew we could call on him at any time, if we needed anything, but gave us privacy. On the getting something to eat, as said the kitchen here is great and has every thing you need to cook your own meals. Laugharne itself, every eatery is shut on a Monday evening apart from Browns, but you would need to book in advance as it gets very busy, because of that. We went to the Carpenters Arms on a few occasions, open on a Monday but shuts Sunday evening. Food here was really good and very reasonable, very nice atmosphere and very dog friendly. Sunday evening was also a struggle to find a meal, most seem to do Sunday lunch and then close. We had a couple of good meals in Pendine, lovely beach also. The only bad food we had was from the chippy in Laugharne, we had decided to have a take away, it was still lovely and hot when we got back to cottage, but cod was not very white, did not taste good, and very, very expensive. There are lots of lovely places to visit, NT , beaches, enjoyable walks, there are leaflets in a drawer in living room, I added a couple of dog friendly articles to this drawer too. If, when, in this area again, I know exactly where we will be staying . Little Brook Cottage.

This was our 5th visit to Little Brook Cottage with our 2 dogs.

We keep coming back for a number of reasons. The cottage is always super clean and ready when we arrive. The kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of crockery and cutlery and lots of other kitchen equipment that makes cooking in the large kitchen easy. It also benefits from a brand new double oven which was brilliant for our Sunday roast! The dogs have plenty of space inside and outside to enjoy and the area is gated and fenced so very secure if you are bringing furry friends. The Stone Range cafe is a 2 min walk and dog friendly so a great option for all day breakfast and lunch. The cottage is situated down a small lane behind the farm which is incredibly quiet as there is no traffic, only the sound of cows mooing occasionally on the farm. Lots of incredible walks nearby whatever the weather and an amazing roaring fire should the evenings be cold. Everything about Little Brook Cottage for us is “easy”. As in it’s easy to relax and enjoy as you have everything you need right there. Thank you again and we will see you in September.

Little Brook Cottage is an absolute gem.

It is situated in a quiet valley and the garden is great for relaxing in and if you have dogs, it is fully enclosed. The cottage itself is spacious, really well maintained, comfortable and really well equipped. The owners were friendly, helpful if needed and we appreciated the thoughtful treats left for us. We loved our short break here and would happily stay again.

Lovey traditional cottage in a stunning location.

The pictures do not do it justice. Very well equipped with everything you would need including board games and information leaflets on the area. The garden is totally dog proof and and safe for children or dogs. Large bedrooms, family kitchen and a cosy sitting room with a log burner. We would definitely return to this cottage. Probably the best we have stayed in over the 12 years of holidays in Wales. Next to the owners farm but they are not intrusive but there to help if needed.

This is a spacious, well-equipped & comfortable property, with a fenced garden, in a peaceful,wooded valley.

My Merlin App picked up 13 bird species whilst sitting in the garden; and I could see buzzards circling overhead. We used the 222 & 351 buses to do linear coastal walks (& short walks in Laugharne) with our 2 dogs. It was all very good. Thank you.

A lovely,peaceful week at this delightful cottage.

Nothing but the sound of birds and a babbling Brook to accompany you. A very well equipped kitchen (sharp knives a treat!), spacious lounge with a fabulous log burner and a comfy bed with plenty of storage. Ideally situated to explore all the surrounding countryside with the added bonus of a great cafe literally on your doorstep. We would not hesitate to visit again.

Lovely warm cottage which we needed in a wet week in January.

The wood burner made it so cosy. Our dogs were safe in the garden. We were pleased to have for the basic kitchen essentials like salt and pepper and oil to get us started. The location is easy to get to with a good choice of beaches and walks nearby and a great cafe 100yards down the road. Owner was super helpful.

We had an amazing time. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very well equipped. The treats left for us were very much appreciated and very thoughtful of the owner. We would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Excellent property!

Second time we've stayed for Christmas, and it was just as good as the first. Beaches on the doorstep, local amenities nearby, garden well enclosed for a small dog with plenty of room for the kids to play, and set in a beautiful location. The owners are incredibly thoughtful with wonderful welcome treats and a Christmas card, as well as putting up the Christmas decs too. The kids especially loved seeing the cows in the morning and hearing the owl at night. The property itself is very well equipped (enough to cook a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings), and was exceptionally clean and well-looked after. Thank you so much - we can't wait to come back again!

This was our 4th stay at Little Brook Cottage.

As always the cottage was spotlessly clean and warm and cosy for our arrival. Our 2 dogs love having the large secure area to wander around and enjoy the fire in the evenings. Although the weather wasn’t the best, there are so many lovely beaches and sheltered walks a short drive away which kept us busy for the week. The cottage is well equipped and the kitchen has everything you need to create lovely meals to be enjoyed in the large dine in kitchen or in front of the fire. The WiFi is excellent and we were able to stream our favourite shows on the television. Overall the cottage is a comfortable, quiet and cosy place to spend a relaxing week away with or without your furry friends. Thank you both again and we will see you again in May!

What a great place to stay.

Front garden and patio area plenty of space for dog to run around and for car to park too. All rooms light and airy, big kitchen well equipped. Front room fab fire place, comfortable settee, yes bit low but we added cushions from upstairs! Both bed rooms had comfortable beds enabling good night's sleep. Bathroom good and hot showers, only opps is sloped ceiling for taller person getting in and out of shower. Local cafe very nice, just round corner. Plenty of places to visit and beaches close by. Would certainly recommend.

This is a beautiful cosy cottage.

It is warm and well equipped. The log fire is stunning. The outside space is a bonus- a really big garden. I loved the peacefulness of the location. Dark and totally quiet apart from the babbling brook that gives the cottage its name and the wind in the trees.

Lovely little cottage with great walks from the door.

Very clean and great sized kitchen. It had everything we needed with a generous amount of logs. We visited Tenby highly recommended with a visit to Caldey Island. The only negative is that it’s quite tight getting out of the driveway for a long car, but with a bit of guidance we were fine.

Had a lovely week shame about weather

My only criticism, being an older lady who has had two hip replacements, was that the two sofas were comfortable but far too low, getting off them was difficult and there weren’t any armchairs as an alternative.

Other than that it is a beautiful holiday home , exceptionally clean, light and airy, in a wonderful location too, so much within a short distance. One other slight niggle, only two toilet rolls provided!!

What a beautiful cottage.

In a lovely location, clean, charming and with everything needed to make a restful holiday. The fully enclosed garden is an added bonus, allowing our dog to roam freely without having to watch him. Well located for beaches and lovely little Welsh villages to wander around. Lovely barn cafe and well stocked village shop within easy reach .We would definitely book again if in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Little Brook Cottage over the Easter weekend.

The cottage is beautiful and was immaculate when we arrived. We really appreciated all of the little touches, the owners really have thought of everything you could possibly need whilst you’re away and so it made the stay so easy and comfortable. The kids were left Easter treats plus a little hamper was left for us. Tea, coffee, sugar, soap, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths and towels and blankets were all provided and are often the essentials I forget to pack so it was lovely that they had thought of them all. It was the perfect property to take dogs to, with a large enclosed garden and easy to clean floors throughout. In the Hamlet of Brook where the Cottage is, there is a converted barn cafe called Stone range cafe which is well worth a visit. Serving full English breakfasts, lunch, coffee and cake, and so nice to have on your doorstep. Perfect location with easy travelling to lots of beautiful places and great restaurants locally. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely place in a great setting.

Overall, very quiet: lots of birdsong; a nice short walk up and down the valley. The garden is nicely secure for exercising a dog. Lovely dog-friendly cafe at the end of the road.

A beautiful setting, and ideal location, so many lovely places close by, loved Laugharne The castle, estuary and walk to Dylan Thomas's boat house was magical and scenic.

Pendine Sands, Tenby and Pembroke Castle weren't far and we didn't want to go home! The cottage was immaculate and cosy and had lovely views, we can highly recommend it .

This was our third stay at Little Brook Cottage.

As always it was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and spacious enough for us and the 2 dogs. Plenty of space outside and we were lucky to have great weather and so managed to sit out on the patio enjoying the sun and fresh air. The beds are super comfy and we all slept very well. The cottage is peaceful and away from the road but only a minutes walk from the coastal path and short drives to some incredible beaches and woods for long walks. Can’t wait for our next stay in December.

This was our second visit to Little Brook cottage.

We arrived late but no problem for the owner who had put the heating on and left the outside light on for our arrival. The cottage was warm and cosy, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could possible need in the kitchen. We enjoyed the fresh orange juice, and local Welsh treats left for us on arrival. There was also milk in the fridge and tea coffee and sugar supplied, as well as cleaning products, dishwasher tablets and washing tablets. All such great things when you’re away from home and don’t have to purchase them or bring them with you. We brought our 2 dogs who very much enjoyed their evening naps in front of the fabulous fireplace and the outside enclosed space that the cottage offers. The stone range cafe just next door is a great place for food and is open year round and dog friendly. We have booked again for March and can’t wait to return.

It was beautifully presented and set in a tranquil location. The children loved exploring and having their own space. My husband and I appreciated the cleanliness and well equipped accommodation. The fire was a perfect extra and the supplied goodies were welcomed by all. Thank you for allowing us to visit, we would highly recommend this cottage to others.

Where do I start on praising this property, it was utterly lovely, on arrival it was spotless!

and so lovely and thoughtful of the owner to provide fresh milk and orange juice, also Welsh cakes and chocolate (thank you). The cottage is so cosy and warm, beautifully thought out and provided every comfort. The large garden was totally secure for our fur babies, which gives great peace of mind to let them just roam and play. The location was beautiful so peaceful. Just a short drive to the beach, pub, shops, chip shop and cafes. We absolutely loved our stay at little Brook cottage so much so we booked for next year while we were there. A massive thank you to the friendly owner who kindly took the time off his busy dairy farm to welcome us, glad we managed to catch you when we were leaving to say bye and thank you! The cottage was great, just right for us and the two dogs.

Located within a short drive of lots of nice beaches / places yet enough off the beaten track to allow for plenty of peace and quiet. We are highly likely to return.

Little Brook Cottage was a lovely base for our family holiday and the owners were absolutely brilliant - popped by on the first day to make sure everything was ok and were very responsive, even helping us out with a loaf tin for some baking and sending something we left back by post to us promptly.

The place is clean and well maintained, and lovely to have a driveway and enclosed garden. The stone range cafe next door is great, and lots of brilliant places are a short drive away. Thank you Steve and family!

The cottage is lovely.

Spacious, clean, welcoming and warm with good helpful hosts. It's very private with a secure garden for dogs although our wimpy boy saw the farm cat in the garden within hours of arrival so treated outdoors as a frightening place after that. He enjoyed watching the cows in the farmyard from the safety of the bedroom window. I later learnt the cat is scared of dogs. So, a happy holiday for the three of us. The only improvement for me would be the addition of a high back granny-style armchair. There is plenty of room for one (or two) and would be appreciated by older guests and those with back or hip problems.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage and were gutted we had to cut our stay short due to work commitments.

Everything was ready when we arrived and the cottage was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. Not long after we settled in the owner popped by to check all was ok and if we needed anything. We brought our 2 dogs and there was lots of space inside the cottage and outside for them to roam. We all enjoyed long walks on Pendine beach and up the coastal path. Despite the bad weather, the best thing was coming back to the cottage, drying off and warming up in front of the gorgeous fire. The dogs loved it too and we enjoyed cosy evenings in the living room relaxing from the days walking. The bed was so comfy and we slept very well. The dogs settled quickly and we loved the homely feel the cottage gave us. We did try and say we were leaving but there was no answer at the house and the mobile telephone number provided on the Sykes booking didn’t work. Thank you so much for a great stay. We enjoyed it so much we will be back again next year.

This is a beautiful property and the owners had been kind enough to put up festive decorations for our stay over Christmas.

It was very well equipped, clean and had plenty of extra firewood in the shed that you could pay for via their honesty box. The location next to the babbling brook and amongst the wooded hills was magical, and it was an added bonus that the boys could sit in their bedroom window each morning and watch the cows and sheep in the farmyard. The property is perfectly situated, with Pendine 5 minutes away in one direction and Laugharne 5 minutes in the other direction. Both had convenience stores, cafes and beautiful walks. A stone's throw away from the property is also the Stone Range Cafe that sells breakfast, lunches, cakes and drinks - it was easily in walking distance from the property, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Overall this is an excellent property and we'd gladly stay here again!

Less than a minute walk to the coastal path. Dog friendly. A very spacious well equipped, clean, tidy cottage. Secure garden for the dogs which was great. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Being down a cul de sac, the cottage and area is secluded in a nature rich valley environment complete with running stream. The opening of the Stone Range Cafe two doors down the main road is an added bonus for breakfast and tea.

Little Brook cottage was spacious, cozy and had everything we needed for our 5 night doggy holiday.

It was very clean and tidy, had a wonderful inglenook fireplace and wood burner, really comfy bed and nice hot shower. The garden space was a good size and completely enclosed and secure so we had no issues allowing our dog out without his lead. The driveway was accessed over a little Brook and through a double farm gate and there was easily enough space for two large cars. Wood was supplied for our first night and then more wood was located in shed priced a £5 per bag if required ( we took our own wood with us). At the bottom of the drive and on the right hand side was a lovely little cafe that was open most days 9-4pm and was dog friendly. During our stay we visited several beaches including Pendine sands which was approx 5 minute drive away, Llansteffan beach, Saundersfoot, Amroth and Tenby, all of which were between 30-40 minutes in car. All had dog friendly parts. We also ate at the Carpenters Arms which was about 10 minutes drive away from Little Brook and was dog friendly. We had a fantastic time at Little Brook and it is the best we have stayed in so far. We had to call the owner for advice on one occasion and he was very polite and helpful. The only slightly negative comment I would make is in relation to the departure time of 9am. I appreciate that the owners require time to make the cottage ready for the next guests but as the arrival time is not until 4pm, I am sure that allowing guests a later departure time of even an hour would make a difference, as it was a bit of a rush to get everything packed and tidied up before leaving. Thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay!

We absolutely loved our time at Little Brook Cottage.

The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The welcome package of milk, OJ and biscuits was a nice touch. It was very remote and lovely and quiet. On a clear night the sky was filled with bright stars. It was perfect for those with dogs too!

It is close to all the lovely places to visit in Pembrokeshire but it was wonderful to escape the crowds and return to the cottage; a place of tranquility.

Perfect location for exploring beautiful beaches and lovely towns. The cottage was well equipped for self catering and easily accommodated a family of four adults and two dogs. We would like to kindly offer some suggestions from our stay; although the kitchen was very well equipped it would benefit from a set of new frying pans, the bedrooms were lovely, large and bright however we felt that the double mattress could benefit from being replaced with a newer firmer mattress as we found it was very soft and offered little support - just to increase comfort as the mattresses in the twin room are superb! Perfect cottage for a getaway and exploring Wales :) Thank you

Very relaxing break.

I booked this weekend for my husbands birthday.

Laugharne is our favourite place to be. The cottage was so warm and cosy, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was in its own grounds, so we could park our car right outside the door and it was safe to let out fur babies out. I wish I had booked the week, but Never mind we’ll definitely go back and I would recommend anyone looking to relax in a quiet area with everything they need.

We have just returned from a one week stay at Little Brook Cottage, and what a fabulous week we had.

We felt as comfortable there as we do in our own home, comfy sofas, comfy bed, warm and all the cooking facilities you could need. It is also decorated with love with lots of little extra comforts, and the log burner is one of the best we have had. The outside space is perfect, we managed to have a cuppa outside even though it was February. The location is perfect to get to all the near by attractions, such as beautiful beaches, towns and some of the best coastal walks we have done, but then it’s nice to come back to the peace and quiet of the cottage. I couldn’t recommend it enough and our dogs, the real judges, loved it there

The clean, comfortable cottage was everything we'd hoped for.

Quiet location but in easy reach of Laugharne and Pendine and the safe garden was perfect for our dog. The owner popped by to welcome us which was nice. The kitchen is very well equipped, ideal for us. The location at the bottom of a little wooded valley meant lots of birdsong and even the sound of deer barking at night. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again!

Amazing - lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable, ideal location for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.

My only recommendation would be to upgrade the television to a smart tv to enable guests to log into Netflix etc. but definitely not a reason not to stay here.

We were aware the cottage was on a working farm but did not expect the number of flies that were in the property on arrival.

We fortunately had fly spray and counted around 60 on that first night but were unable to keep doors or windows open during the week as we were fighting a losing battle with them! The freezer door seal had significant mould on it and the bath had mould with extremely shoddy sealant/filler work around the shower screen. This made us feel less than relaxed about cleanliness on a break that was meant to be relaxing after finishing treatment for cancer and ended up going home a day early because of this. Also, we were aware the owner lived next door but nobody came to welcome us or just introduce themselves, which I think in itself is quite telling.

Beautiful cottage, clean, homely and in a fantastic location, nice and peaceful but only a short drive for days out.

The cottage is absolutely stunning with loads of character, the large open fireplace with log burner really sets it off. We would recommend anyone to stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Quiet and yet easy to find, within a short distance to both Pendine and Laugharne. The property is large and well equipped. A little gloomy downstairs in the kitchen and living area but bright and airy upstairs. A lovely main bedroom with a large comfortable bed. The WiFi was intermittent at times and there is no phone signal. There is a large, enclosed garden and short walks for the dog nearby.

Lovely holiday home, very well equipped and ideally located to explore Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

The garden was secure and enjoyed by our young children and dog. Welcome hamper was a lovely touch with local products. We would stay again if back in the area!

It really did feel like a home from home. The setting could not have been more peaceful and in a great location to get to beaches, castles and gardens in next too no time. We will definitely be making a return visit.

Perfect outdoor space for our two dogs to have a run about safely. Cottage was lovely and clean with a welcome pack, which was a nice little extra. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely cottage this is.

So much space the photographs don't do it justice. We has everything we needed for a fab weeks stay. The welcome hamper was a nice treat too. If you like oriental food I highly recommend the lotus take away a 5 min drive away in pending sands. The food was fantastic. This is a great base to have if you are off exploring South Wales as there are some stunning places to go and visit. We would 100% book again and are already looking into when we could come back. You could not wish for a better cottage to book your stay.

Cottage was easy to find on a late December afternoon when light was fading.

Larger secure garden where we could release our dogs whist we investigated the cottage. On entering it was warm, welcoming and spotless. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy and lounge area comfortable. We never used the wood burner as found the central heating to be enough to keep us warm. The cottage is situated on a working farm however apart from hearing the cows in the morning it was peaceful and we were undisturbed. If you are reliant on a mobile phone there is no signale in the cottage, however the WIfi is excellent. There is a landline with honesty box if required, again we never used it. The surrounding area is stunning with good walks for our dogs especially along the beach which is about 2 miles away. The castle walk at Laugharne is also worth a visit. For a week in December the cottage was always warm and welcoming to return to after a day of exploring.

Cottage extremely comfortable ,very clean and well equipped. Steve and Emma left us a lovely hamper and were on hand if needed. A lovely holiday in a beautiful spot which is convenient for Pendine beach , village of Laugharne and other resorts.

The cottage was as described and was very comfortable and we had a very enjoyable holiday in an area we have never been to before.

The only thing that prevented us from giving higher for facilities was because it was a cottage with fairly small windows, at times it was rather dark. We needed to have the lights on even during the day sometimes in the kitchen/dining room. It would have been better with under cabinet lights to help. Also in the lounge, although it was very spacious and were able to relax in comfort. Once again it was dark and the only lights were very bright overhead chandeliers apart from one standard lamp in one corner of the room. To make it more homely, table lamps around the room would have been more comfortable on the eyes.

A beautiful, well-equipped cottage, immaculately clean in a stunning location ideally placed to explore Camarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.

The Barn is very well appointed, comfortable, stylishly decorated, has a wonderful quiet location, 5 mins to Laugharne, 5 mins to Pendine .

We will definitely rebook as we love this area and have been visiting it for years.

Perfect location for exploring the area. Our children loved watching the cows and farmer in the yard and playing in the garden.

This beautiful cottage had everything you could possibly need for a short break away.

Lovely little outside area for our dog to have a run around while we had a cuppa in the sunshine. The stunning weather had us going to the beach numerous times, less than a 5 minute drive, perfect! 10/10 would recommend, we’ll look forward to staying here again!

Lovely cottage everything we needed.

We came away for a restful time the cottage gave us that.We brought our dog the garden was enclosed so she loved it.The beach was round the corner at Saundersfoot and Tenby which both allowed dogs on certain parts.The time we were there Wales didn't allowed coffee shops restaurants or pubs to be open inside.This was no problem as we sat outside in pub gardens and courtyards.When you are eating overlooking the sea with the sun beating down they is not a better feeling.I can't promise the weather we were so lucky it was lovely the one day it did rain we ate in the cottage.We will return loved the Pembrokeshire coast
