The house is light, spacious and comfortable in a fabulous location for walking from the door and accessing local towns.

The interior is rather tired and worn in places such as chipped tea cups, torn seat pads on chairs and the clothes rack is broken. Cushions on the sofas and a rug could make it more homely. Also, the sink in the ensuite is very slow to drain and there is an unpleasant odour on the stairs in the morning which may be linked to drains. We love the large fridge and the natural light inside the property. A neat outdoor area too.

This is a spacey modern layout cottage, perfectly located for two great beaches and coast walks.

We’d recommend Dinas Head as an area to explore the local coast paths and coves. It’s a gorgeous place and the property was perfect for us with two twin bed rooms and one master double room. Sadly the property lacks a little of needed maintenance, cleaning and service, nothing much but it seems a shame to have such a great property in a great location with poor servicing. These are only minor things that the owners should be able to sort. Such as cleaning the bathrooms better, having clothes pegs that aren’t all broken, a clothed horse that’s broken, the electric fire wouldn’t turn on, one of the sinks was blocked and would take ages to drain, the washer dryer wouldn’t dry. We were given one J Cloth to wash up with (no sponges or brushes), no spare bin bags, the mentioned recycling bins and boxes weren’t there. On top of this, many of the doors don’t latch because of poor fitting, some bathroom door locks won’t lock. There was no remote for the DVD player and it would’ve been nice for the TV to be connected to the Internet rather than just freesat. Not many dishwasher tabs and not enough towels for a week. Which wouldn’t have been a problem if the dryer worked. Also a bit more crockery wouldn’t go amiss such as pasta bowls… Someone has spent a lot of money making a nice house but it just felt like the owners were trying to save money and cutting corners. Now, these are all things that are easily fixed but were hard for us to ask to fixed whilst we were there. All in all though, the size of the property and location made it perfect for our family. We wouldn’t have batted an eyelid if it had cost us £50 more but all those little things weren’t problems for us. Sorry to sound nit picky, individually they’d have been not worth mentioning and hopefully this feedback will help the owner make it a perfect stay for the next guests.
