When we arrived I found we had no hot water.

I contacted the owner about this. She informed me there had been a ongoing problem with the boiler not holding pressure. She told me to top up the boiler and this should solve the problem. I am a 75 year old retired nurse, not a boiler engineer. I ended up having to repeatedly top up the boiler 2 times a day. We could not get the hob to work as there was no instruction on how it worked. This property is advertised as dog friendly with garden. I do not call a 1 Mt wide path a garden. This area also has very dirty/old tables and chairs. The whole place is in need of a refit. Furniture old and uncomfortable. The double bed in the lt of the stairs kept collapsing when the slats moved. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends. It's a pity because a little bit of care and attention it could be great.

Lovely couple of days in a very well appointed cottage.

Tastefully decorated, comfortable throughout and thoughtful welcome gifts of Welsh cakes, milk and prosecco. Games and books aplenty and enough Tabs to occupy the teenagers. Cottage was spotless throughout. Kitchen exceptionally well stocked. Only item we couldn’t find was an oven glove. Highly recommend.

The following message was sent to you on Monday 11th August, via WhatsApp.

You responded to say an agent was going to contact me as soon as one was free. I have never been contacted and continue to feel very dissatisfied with where we were staying. We are now home. I gave you the opportunity to respond to my complaint and you still have not responded!!! The message:- We have an existing booking. This is the only way I can find to contact anyone!!! I am appalled at the service as well as the cottage we are staying in!!! We are staying in the above property in Dinas Cross. The property is not as we were expecting for the money we have paid. You advertise it as being dog friendly. There is no outdoor area for the dogs to run around. There were cobwebs everywhere which I removed on arrival. I pulled back the duvet last night and after a day of travelling, the least I would expect is clean bed linen. There were hairs in the bed!!!! I was not impressed. We have tried to use the hob this evening to make a meal and it doesn’t work!!! We have a 4year old with us and he is desperate for something to eat!!! I’m very disappointed and want to give you the opportunity to explain this awful recommendation of a cottage. It had so far not been a very positive experience!! Sent from my iPhone
