Nestled in a truly enviable spot within the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, Sewin Cottage offers a peaceful retreat with far-reaching views stretching towards the stunning Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Just a short distance from the charming town of Llandeilo, this single-storey cottage sits within a small, welcoming complex of three, with the owners nearby, giving it a wonderfully relaxed and cared-for feel.

Perfect for a small family or a group of friends, Sewin Cottage provides a cosy yet stylish base to return to after days spent exploring both the coast and countryside of Wales. Step inside to find a bright and sociable open-plan living space, where the kitchen, dining and sitting areas come together beautifully. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, while the inviting lounge area is ideal for unwinding on the sofa with the Smart TV or a good book.

One of the standout features is the stunning glass extension, where panoramic countryside views create a truly special dining experience. Whether you’re enjoying breakfast with a view or raising a glass over dinner, it’s the perfect setting to make lasting holiday memories.

The cottage offers two spacious ground-floor bedrooms, both thoughtfully designed for comfort. The first features a luxurious super king-size bed, while the second offers flexible zip-and-link twin beds that can be made into a super king on request. Both bedrooms benefit from their own en-suite facilities and ample storage, ensuring a relaxing and convenient stay.

Outside, the charm continues with a lovely patio area where you can soak in the hot tub while taking in the surrounding views. There’s also a picnic table and BBQ for al fresco dining, making it easy to enjoy long, relaxed evenings outdoors. The spacious lawn provides plenty of room to roam, while the fire pit offers the perfect excuse to gather under the stars and unwind after a day of adventure. For those keen to explore, a short stroll takes you to a nearby village, while Llandeilo is just a little further, offering a fantastic selection of independent shops, galleries, cafés and restaurants. The wider area is rich with things to see and do, from the National Botanic Garden of Wales and the beautiful Aberglasney Gardens, to cycling through Brechfa Forest or spotting wildlife along the River Towy. Walkers will be in their element with easy access to the Black Mountain and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, while the breathtaking beaches of the Gower Peninsula, including Three Cliffs Bay and Rhossili Bay, are within reach for memorable days by the sea. Combining comfort, scenery and a fantastic location, Sewin Cottage is an ideal retreat for a truly special Welsh getaway.

We had one of our most beautiful holidays in UK at Sewing Cottage.

Big, bright rooms, each sleepingroom with own bathroom, a really well equipped kitchen, hot tub with wonderful view and everything had been very, very clean. A big Thank you to Mandy and Kev for the warm welcome from Sylke and family. Wish you all the best and one day we´ll come back.

Myself and my partner stayed at Sewin cottage with our 2 year old and 5 year old and had our best family holiday yet.

It had everything we could possibly need - we would travel a bit lighter next time knowing how well equipped the cottage would be! It’s clear Kev & Mandy have put so much thought into every detail so guests can enjoy their stay. The cottage was very child friendly but still lovely and luxurious for the adults after the kids had gone to bed! The kids loved the park and fire pit in the evening and the views from the hot tub were beautiful. We have already recommended Sewin Cottage to our family and hope to visit again soon!
