What guests are saying
Tai Bach is in a beautiful location set in the woods and close to a stunning bay.
It is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. However, unfortunately, the property has not been well maintained. Aside from obvious signs of wear and tear, such as the frayed bathroom carpet, overgrown terrace and broken shed doors, it had not been thoroughly cleaned. For example, mould was present in the shower and on some walls, we found hairs and nail cuttings (not ours), the toilet brushes needed replacing and the kitchen utensils required washing before we could use them. Overall, we were quite disappointed as the property could be amazing with some proper care and maintenance.
Just returned from the perfect holiday at Taibach, it was the El Scorchio week.
The location of this this amazing house really makes the holiday experience, we loved walking to the bay every morning and enjoying the sunset in the evening, we did one walk from the house around Dinas head and saw guillemots nesting on the rock amongst other sea birds. The use of the kayak is a real bonus. We are hoping to return asap. The house is big and everything is just lovely. Wish l was there now.
Really lovely cottage.
Had everything required for a short stay break. We were a couple with one dog. The accommodation could sleep 8 people and it feels like that there was enough in cottage to accommodate them without any loss of comfort. WiFi was surprisingly ok for location. No problems with TV. Did wonder if something like a fire stick or Freeview would provide more options for viewing (not a big problem). Access to beach and cleanliness was everything we could have wished for. Patio area had lovely setting but felt like it needed a bit of care to make it more welcoming. Also no shade, so could be very hot on a sunny day.
