The Coach House

We stayed at the Coach House for a week with our three spaniels and had an amazing time!

The cottage was really clean and had everything we needed. The enclosed garden to the front of the property was really handy for the dogs and the location was so peaceful. We will definitely be back again!

We had a lovely week’s holiday at Wolfscastle; the cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area.

On arrival, the key handover went smoothly and a welcome pack and a fresh bouquet of flowers were waiting for us. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen equipment is of good quality. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, and two sets of towels were provided per person. One minor drawback is that the kitchen chairs are a bit hard. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.

The Coach House provided everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our (very hot) stay in Pembrokeshire.

Very clean and well equipped. Cheryl (the owner) is available on site and nothing was too much trouble for her - the offer of a fan for the bedroom was very much appreciated! The very quiet location is ideally placed to explore the National Park coast. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending the Coach House to anyone.

It was a quiet location.

Very compact. Toilets upstairs and down a great plus. 30 to 45 minutes to good beaches. Plenty of grocery options Haverfordwest. Friendly team at Corner Piece Inn. Nearby Scolton Country Park. We enjoyed our stay. Good greenspace for dogs on lead to enjoy. Great base for touring the area.

From the time we arrived and greeted by the Cheryl the owner who lives on site until the time we left we were looked after extremely well.

There if we needed them otherwise left us free to enjoy our holiday in our way. The property was very clean and well equipped with all we needed by way of comfort, kitchen facilities, great bedrooms plus the outdoor seating area. Smart TV with good Wi-Fi. Lots of helpful information available for exploring the locality. Heating system was good if/when we needed, a couple of evenings for a couple of hours and the shower also instant and hot. Even a laundry room if needed. Own parking place directly outside of cottage and access to the extensive field for walking the dog. Hope this helps future guests and apologies for the lengthy review, just felt it was justified. Definitely recommend and will return.

Stayed in April , booked 2 nights but had to leave early so only stayed for 1 night .

Cottage was perfect , we were met when we arrived by a lovely lady who explained everything to us . Would definitely use again .

A first class holiday cottage, one of the cleanest we have stayed in.

Very well equipped, great position for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely welcome pack for us and dogs. Highly recommend. We shall definitely book again in the future.

The accommodation at The Coach House near Wolfscastle in Pembrokeshire was brilliant for our fortnight’s holiday.

When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who explained all the wonderful facilities in the cottage and the laundry a few yards away. Inside the cottage we were very impressed with the seating area, kitchen, shower room and the marvellous bedrooms. We travelled a long distance from County Durham to the fantastic County of Pembrokeshire with it’s superb beaches and for our first holiday in South West Wales it was a real delight to visit the gorgeous countryside to exercise our dogs, several times each day.

We had a wonderful time at the Coach House.

It was so well equipped and comfortable that it was like home from home . The added bonus of a laundry room meant I didn’t have to go back home with wet and dirty clothes. Every need was taken care of . Thank you very much .

We were extremely happy when we stopped for two weeks in the cosy accommodation at The Coach House near Wolfscastle in Pembrokeshire.

The Owner greeted ourselves when we arrived on our first day around 4pm and explained everything about the cottage, where we could park and the laundry area. Inside the cottage the living area, kitchen, shower room and bedroom were fantastic. As this was our first holiday to Pembrokeshire we enjoyed every morning walking our dogs near the tidal river and the park at Haverfordwest and we were very impressed with the beaches that takes dogs especially at Newport Sands, Newgale, Broad Haven and Tenby. During our first week the weather was unsettled, but the second week we had sun and blue sky that made our holiday absolutely superb,

We had a lovely stay in beautiful Coach House.

The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed, down to the little thoughtful details such as bird feeders outside the door to attract the beautiful birds. We couldn’t fault it- thank you so much for a lovely holiday.

Brilliant

This is such a lovely, comfy ,airy little cottage.

The perfect ambience for a relaxing break away from hustle and bustle of busier locations. The compact size of the cottage makes it very easy to keep tidy and clean leaving plenty time to relax. The bedrooms , the beds particularly, are sheer luxury and added to our well-being during the holiday ( during the heatwave in 33 degrees). All the little touches , fresh flowers, tea, coffee and fresh milk were much appreciated. Thanks for a most enjoyable stay in lovely accommodation.

We really enjoyed the setting and the very very quiet location.

Very comfortable in all regards, beds with lovely white bedding to the sofas. The location enables easy reach of sites to enjoy especially st David’s and the many beaches. Excellent outside space too.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property, which is cared for with attention, that's clear.

It's a beautiful stone cottage and very comfortable and clean. The wood burner adds a nice touch on colder evenings. We really appreciated the milk and Welsh cakes upon arrival. Cheryl the owner is very friendly and welcoming. It's a perfect base to explore Pembrokeshire as all the main sights are within 45 mins drive. We would wholeheartedly recommend and look forward to coming back one day.

Beautiful location- lovely cottage with everything you could need.

The owners have thought of every detail. We were there in November and it was very cosy but the garden looked great for a summer stay. Such a peaceful setting- we’d definitely return

We had a really lovely holiday.

The cottage is gorgeous, cosy, warm, comfortable & spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed to make our week perfect. We really appreciated all the thoughtful extra touches too - tea & coffee bags, hot chocolate, Welsh cakes & milk in the fridge. Thankyou so much to Sheryl . We will be planning a return visit soon.

We were so impressed with the coach house, when we walked in we both said we would buy something like it .

The furnishings and equipment were lovely . All the linen and towels were so white . An area to let the dogs of the lead would be the icing on the cake .

Just come back from a week away at The Coach House.

We are a family of 4. 12 and 8 year olds, they loved the outdoor space. We cooked a few meals of an evening.. kitchen was very well equipped. The bed were really comfy! Bathroom had a lovely welcome pack of essentials, which was good as I forgot to pack a few things... Overall... its a great location to explore pembroke. Its clean, tidy and the hosts were great. The Wolfe Inn is a great place to eat. And a hidden gem for great food was The Pump on the Green. Thanks for having us

Stayed at the Coach House end of June 2024.

The cottage is great, very clean and comfy. Everything there that you could possibly need. Shared laundry room is well equipped. Gardens are massive, plenty of space to stretch any legs. Pembrokeshire is awesome and this is a great base to get out and about. We'd 100% recommend this place, Cheryl the owner was very welcoming. Loved it, thank you.

Lovely cottage, clean and comfortable and in a beautiful location.

We had a relaxing and peaceful stay which is exactly what we needed.

Set in beautiful countryside with the only sounds being the birds around us . When the sun was shining there are two sunny sides to the cottage to sit and enjoy the sun. Also the cottage is fenced off safely for the dogs .Angie and Steve

We could not have picked a more perfect place for our Christmas vacation Cheryl and her family were the most welcoming hosts the cottage was perfect all decked out for Christmas.

The facilities were second to none for us and our four pawed family we were a 20 min road trip to Newgale Beach which we went to every day but we could have gone on walks from the cottage too. We are missing your lovely cottage already and will visit again I am sure. Thank you so much for looking after us the information pack was a great help with useful information including vets and locations to visit we hope you have a great New Year, Rosie Reggie and Arnie the 3 dogs will miss their daily runs on the beach for sure.

Lovely cottage on a farm with friendly owners and good facilities, good base for exploring Pembrokeshire

We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House.

The host met us on arrival and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage had all the facilities we needed, and the garden was enormous and loved by the children. It was really handy to have the laundry room available to use too! The cottage was a great base for us to discover the Pembrokeshire Coast. The rural spot is peaceful and quiet, just a 12 minute drive to the nearest large town (Haverfordwest) with multiple supermarkets. Approx 30-40 mins drive to all the beautiful beaches and tourist hotspots from Newgale, Solva and St. David's to Tenby and Saundersfoot. We would happily recommend and would definitely stop here again.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage.

Well-equipped kitchen, cosy fire in the evenings (appreciated coal & kindling supplies). Excellent communication from the owners. We found both fine. It's a quiet rural road, Parking was fine. We found it all very peaceful. Oh, and comfy beds too.

What an excellent choice we made, A beautiful clean, warm and cosy cottage tucked away in a very relaxing and tranquil place, the perfect location for traveling to places of interest, everything was just right for us all, 2 Adults and Grandchildren aged 8 and 13.

The kids loved the open space to play in to the side of the cottage. Ours hosts were very friendly and helpful with information on places to visit, many thanks to you both, we had a lovely visit to Pembrokeshire.

Cheryl and Paul were welcoming and friendly - it was nice to have milk, tea, coffee and Welsh cakes and fresh flowers in the cottage. We arrived after dark and the courtyard was full of fairy lights and the lights were on in our cottage, which made it very welcoming - little touches that really make a difference. Thoroughly recommended.

Such an amazing place to stay made to feel so welcome and the cottage was so comfortable and relaxing I never wanted to leave will be making it a regular place to stay long and short stays, if you need a relaxing time I highly recommend staying here if there was higher scores to give I’d give them also will be recommending it to all family and friends to visit here

Great location. Cottage very comfortable and always warm to come back to after long dog walks. So comfortable in fact we didn't even go out in evening! Owners very friendly and helpful. Already booked again.

Lovely stay in August.

Welcomed by owners on arrival. They’d provided some milk and plenty of tea and coffee to get us going. Really helpful on local places to visit. Very clean and tidy. Also had a washing machine and dryer for all to use and the cleaning tabs which was really helpful. Good location, a bit windy single track to get there but worth it: 30 mins from Tenby and Saundersfoot and local go karting was great. Nice pub nearby and food shops. Garden was partially enclosed, if they could fully enclose it so the dog could roam free that would have been the cherry on top. Would have been useful to know where to put rubbish.

My wife and I (and our border terrier) enjoyed a lovely week in the peace and quiet that The Coach House provides.

It was everything we wanted it to be! Very welcoming very clean and tidy and a beautiful vase of roses to welcome us on arrival. The coach house is situated near to all the local places of interest and we found some beautiful beaches too . There are lots of places to eat in the area too . The Coach House is a beautiful cottage.

Everything was clean and comfy. The addition of the tea, coffee, milk and welsh cakes was lovely. Our daughter loved the shared garden, especially playing catch with the ball! Cheryl and Paul were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

The cottage was as advertised and the little home touches were very welcome. Lovely location and a great base for sightseeing around Pembs.

This was a lovely place to stay, it was a last minute decision to explore Pembrokeshire, and we picked somewhere central to the locations we wanted to visit.

It is a small but very well appointed and pretty cottage with a patio garden and 2 bird feeders that were visited by a wide variety of birds including 2 woodpeckers. It was adjacent to the two paddocks intended for use of guests and we had pleasant walks round these in the evening. Older folk should note that the stairs are a bit steep but my wife and I are in our 70s and managed fine.

Comfortable cottage in a beautiful location!

Surrounded by fabulous walks. Beaches not too far away. Decorated to a very high standard, comfortable beds, great shower! Ample room for myself & my two adult daughters + our little dog. Owners were on hand with extra logs when needed, nothing was too much trouble. We are definitely going to stay again

We've stayed with Cheryl and Paul half a dozen times now in either this property or The Duckhouse, and we always have a great time.

The properties are clean, the beds are comfortable (and the linen smells lovely) and Cheryl and Paul are extremely friendly and helpful. The area is very handy for all of Pembrokeshire's fantastic beaches. We will be back in the spring.

Although quite comfortable Cottage was very damp with lots of mould which you could smell.

It was very cold downstairs and we did not wish to light the log fire as we have a small child and also its May. Quilts on beds were very hot so sweating at night and cold in the evenings downstairs! We bought blankets for the living room. We tried to cook 3 nights in a row but the oven was not adequate and the food took twice as long to cook than it should have and hob took a long time to warm. It was unclear what could be recycled in this county as no info provided. We would also have found some info on local places to eat useful. Awkward to watch tv due to placing of sofa’s and TV but unsure how this could be changed. My husband found the bed uncomfortable as he is very tall. Also door latches are tricky for smaller children. Hard to find initially. Owner was friendly and helped with problems - lights and sockets tripped by the toaster, they provided a new toaster and were helpful in resolving the power issue. Milk, tea, coffee and welsh cakes provided on arrival which was nice. Nice field and play area with swings. Everything appeared to have been sanitised and covid measures were in place. Central place and local to Haverfordwest, beaches and other areas.

Given the situation we all find ourselves in the host were brilliant.

Good peaceful holiday had by all three of use.

The host, Cheryl was friendly and helpful. The surrounding area beautiful and varied providing views and walks. A great short break.

This was our 3rd time staying at Newhouse Farm, and the second time in the Coach House.

We love the place and the area and Cheryl couldn't be more helpful. We'll be back!

Lovely property in rural location.

Extremely comfy beds and excellent facilities (e.g. laundry, kids games and DVDs etc). Good WiFi. Property was extremely clean. Welsh cakes and milk on arrival were a nice touch.

Every facility even dog treats and water bowl. Lovely friendly welcoming hosts. We will definitely be going back.

The Coach House was perfect, just far enough to be secluded, 10 minutes to the local pub.

Everything you could possibly wish for a week away. The couple who owned the property were lovely and only a minute away if you needed them, but didn't on impose on our time. 10 out of 10

Advertising as dog friendly but in reality it's not, your website doesn't inform us of any rules or regulations until you arrive.

We have been to working farm cottages before at it was a great experience but unfortunately this working farm cottage needs to remove dog friendly, just to let you know that we arrived at 4.05pm Saturday and left to go home at 10.33am Sunday, waste of money and very disappointed.

We really enjoyed our holiday in The Coach House Pembrokeshire, made very welcome by Cheryl, accomadation excellent for both us and our dogs.

Lanes could be a bit scarey and hairy, but very tolerent road users. Returning to The Stables for Christmas, looking forward to returning.

The Coach House was lovely.

It was a very comfortable base from which to explore Pembrokeshire and we enjoyed our week there so much we're looking to stay there again in the summer. The cottage is in a very secluded location and was so peaceful. The double bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. We stayed there at the beginning of February and the cottage was always warm. All in all we had a fantastic time.

Owners very kind when I rang to say I'll be an hour late. Everything was thought of inside the cottage...even milk and Welsh cakes! Fresh flowers. A toothbrush...thank goodness...as I'd forgotten mine! So peaceful. Perfect place to unwind. Thank you.

There is a lovely traditional country pub just a few minutes drive from the cottage.

The Coach House was absolutely lovely, very comfortable and ideal facilities for what we needed.

Locationwise, it was about 20-30 mins from the places we wanted to visit which meant we got a great experience of Pembrokeshire as well. I would definitely recommend this lovely place!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely central location.

The owners were on site to meet us and the Welsh cakes they left as a welcome have become a firm favourite. You do need a car but it's worth it. Could not fault it.

It was a nice holiday home for the few days we were there for, the only thing that would of made it better is if there was somewhere enclosed for those who visit with dogs so they can use the facilities without human supervision, even if the patio area was completely enclosed.

Anyone that doesn't have furry friends would be ideal though.

We enjoyed the holiday and would use Sykes again but our habit is to visit different parts of the country, hence the need for a trusted booking company.
