We have just had a wonderful, relaxing week in this lovely, well equipped house.

For a dog owner, this property is ideal with it's large enclosed garden and ample walks nearby. Burry Port is a very peaceful area with beautiful beaches and plenty of dog friendly pubs and restaurants. We loved it and would definitely return

It was a privilege to stay there.

The property oozes quality from the lovely frontage with ample private parking to the modern lavish family bathroom with its great shower and modern colour choice wall covering. Add in also the comfortable beds, the contrasting furniture in the lounge, well thought out kitchen units short of nothing to aid a pleasant stay. Having wooden flooring throughout with a lovely carpeted stair case the premises is exceptionally clean. Finally the longest rear enclosed garden complete with a great patio area to relax and well kept lawns. In my opinion this property must be one of the best holiday homes available. We'll be back again, no hesitation.

This was the second time that we had spent a fortnight in this very clean and well presented property that had everything we needed.

The area is fabulous for walks from the door. Communication with the hosts was excellent too. We have already booked to come again next year. If it wasn’t so far away from where we live, then we would definitely come more often!

Another lovely stay, despite the hot weather.

We love Burry Port, and Swn y Mor is perfect for us and our dog - has everything we need and location is great for the beaches. We’re already booked for October and will be booking again for 2027.

A beautiful home lovely and fresh,very very clean near all the amenities, shops,beach, my dog loved the big garden,will be booking again for next time and great communication with the owner,everything we needed.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at Sŵn Y Môr in Burry Port, and it’s easily one of the best holiday homes I’ve stayed in.

The property was spotlessly clean throughout and clearly very well cared for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and all of the furniture was of a high standard, making it feel like a real home from home. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The enclosed rear garden was a real highlight, especially for my dog Jack, who absolutely loved it. It was safe and a lovely place to sit out and unwind. The location is excellent too, with the beach, options for walking and local amenities within easy reach. Overall, everything was perfect — a comfortable, well-maintained property that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, and I’d happily return in the future.

Wonderful holiday cottage, just back from our second time at Swn y mor, this place has, everything you need both in the house and the surrounding area.

The house was spotlessly clean on arrival with everything you need from the well equipped kitchen to the very comfortable beds and a great shower,the large enclosed garden was perfect for our Border Collie Jess who could play safely with no fear of getting out,we were lucky to have great weather during our week so we spent lots of time sitting in the garden, Anthony the owner was a fantastic host nothing was to much trouble,we had a fault with the central heating after contacting him,he arrived within 15 minutes and solved the issue straight away, this is a perfect place to spend your holiday,beach is only a 5 minute walk away and so is the park and marina,two great pubs close by,.burry port,has good shops and plenty of takeaways and the people are very friendly and welcoming.plenty of buses and trains so could leave the car at home.This was our second time at Swn y mor and won't be out last, looking to return next year, Many thanks Anthony and Andrea,we had a wonderful stay

A lovely, cosy retreat.

Close to beach and amenities. Everything we needed was there and a great break was enjoyed by us and our four legged friend. We definitely hope to return.

Lovely house in a good setting.

Really close to the beach and some really nice walks. Walking distance to the shops too. Very comfortable furniture. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Large garden. Would highly recommend.

The house was clean, comfortable, had all the facilities we could need for a winter break Situated perfectly for the beach, only a 2 minute walk ,the town and train station is only a 5 minute walk.

Communication with the owners was excellent throughout our stay. Tried to book another break at swn y mor for next May but no availability so it shows how popular it is Date of stay November 11th until 18th

We had a great autumn break in this super clean and comfortable property.

Great location close to all amenities. Just booked to visit again next year. If we could’ve change anything it would be a bigger bed in the main bedroom. Otherwise faultless.

Our reason for visiting this area was to participate in an event in the local Pembray Country Park.

The house is very well placed for this and after the weekend we were able to visit a number of attractions nearby. The house made a very comfortable place to return to during the evenings. Car parking for two cars was perfect for our party. We would be very happy to return next year if things carry on as per this year.

Absolute gem of a place ,Burry Port so dog friendly a fabulous beach all year round dog friendly.

We had a great stay, the house had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for our dogs to play in the garden which is very secure.

Walking distance to Bury Port beach. We would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area.

What a fantastic week we had at Burry Port.

The house is superb, decor is bright and modern , cleanliness is absolutely on point, and so comfortable with absolutely everything you need provided. The area is stunning, walking distance to the superb beach, and town with several dog friendly pubs within short distance. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and unwinding for the week it was great. Many thanks to Anthony and Andrea for allowing us to stay , we hope to return some day .

We absolutely love this beautiful house.

This was our second visit and I'm sure we will be back. Beach is amazing. Some great pubs Would benefit from a bbq and some comfortable chairs for the garden, we love to be outside in the good weather. Thank you for letting us stay

We spent a fabulous 2 weeks at this spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well positioned property which had everything we needed.

A large fully enclosed garden with quality garden furniture was a bonus for us and our dog! So many lovely coastal walks right from the doorstep and local shops just a short distance away with Trostre shopping parc just a short drive. We will certainly be looking to return to Swn Y Mor.

We have stayed here previously, and will be staying again - house and garden are lovely and we feel very at home.

Our dog is made to feel very welcome and he settles straight away. Location is perfect with excellent sandy beaches and multiple walks virtually on the doorstep - we only wish we lived nearer so could stay more often.

A well appointed house in an ideal location for the beach.

The garden is great for dogs being large and secure.

Great cottage in a great location - just a few minutes walk to the beach and the coastal path.

The cottage itself is modern, beautiful, well kept and very clean. Fully equipped for all your needs. They even leave some milk and welsh cakes as a gift when you arrive. The garden is great and there is plenty of parking. Would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful house to spend your holiday in.

Swn y mor had everything you needed and more, Anthony and Andrea have done a fantastic job setting up this house into a fabulous holiday home.The house was very clean and tidy on arrival with a nice welcome pack, which was very much appreciated.The kitchen is very modern and has many gadgets.The house has very comfortable beds and is very peaceful.Our dog Jess loved the huge very secure garden and could play for ages with no fear of her being able to get out.The great thing it's perfect for dogs, just at the bottom of the road is a wonderful beach,and on the other side is a big park land which is also dog friendly. The town of Burry port has everything you need,a good supermarket and nice shops, plenty of takeaways to suit every taste, best of all try out the Portobello pub you won't believe the prices,there is also a very good train station with a very good service and also many buses,so you can get around without using the car.We were very lucky coming in November we had a fantastic time with beautiful weather. All in all a fantastic house and place for a great holiday,only one small fault could do with a calender in the kitchen very handy when cooking pasta and rice. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend Swn y mor to family and friends and we are already planning to come again. Thank you again Anthony and Andrea.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, we loved the house it was beautiful, well equip with everything we needed and spotless.

Garden was totally secure and perfect for our dog and took away the stress of worrying that he might get out. Location couldn't be more perfect!! Only one tiny thing I would recommend would be a rubber shower mat in the bath we had my mother in law who is in her 80s but very agile with us and had to buy one to make sure she was safe and didnt slip. Cant wait to come back and stay again!! Thank you so much

Very comfortable and well thought out accommodation. Well equipped and in a great location. Burry Port and area is very lovely. There is easy access to the wonderful Gower coast to the east and the beautiful and memorable Laugharne to the west and, of course, to the delights of Pembrokeshire. The owners are very helpful, providing timely and helpful information. All in all, a great stay and highly recommended accommodation.

Lovely clean house with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in a quiet area.

Very close to beach and lots of walks nearby. Good bus service with bus stops close by if you don't want to use the car. Would definitely recommend.

It was nice to have toiletries, soap, including in the kitchen! And a big second towel for each person, kitchen roll, cling film, foil etc Thank you. A few things we felt could make it even better, since you made it clear if there was anything else that would help to let you know: Recycling and rubbish instructions would be helpful Hooks on the back of the bedroom doors Hooks in hallway for coats and a small shoe rack Plastic chopping board in kitchen (that can go in dishwasher) These aren’t negatives, we really enjoyed our stay, they’re just suggestions

What a fantastic property, the home was furnished really well.

We found the whole stay wonderful, the location was brilliant too. Long walks to the beach everyday and then home to relax. The enclosed garden was great for our dog, it was nice to sit at the patio with a glass of wine! Kitchen was really well equipped, suited our needs well. The only criticism I have, could have done with a bath mat as getting out of the shower was quite slippery. Great place would definitely stay again . Highly recommend.

Had a lovely week, house is in a good location, well equipped and very comfy with nice little touches such as tea and milk, plus bowls, treats and a towel for our dog.

The only thing we would have loved to have was loungers in the garden to make the most of the weather

When we were travelling to the property, we received a unique, very courteous and welcoming message from the owners which we were very impressed by.

Many holiday homes have white towels and bedding but this was not the case here. The effect of this for us was a homely feeling where the owners have been very thoughtful in their choice of furnishings and ornaments. Everything was practical, though, so we felt very relaxed here and very comfortable too. Mrs was scurrying around looking for brand names on lighting, curtains and even mattresses! This has not happened before in 25 years of holiday homes! There was not one thing we could not find which we wanted. This is also unusual in our experience. We like to cook and normally we find we are short of a sharp knife or something. Also, there was more than usual by way of towels, bedding, cleaning materials and so on. Nice neighbours and lots of walking from the doorstep. We understand the owners wish this holiday let to be extra special and, in our view, it is.

Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean throughout. Beds really comfortable. Decorated beautiful and everything was provided. Kitchen was fully furnished with all you could possibly need.Garden was ideal place to relax and listen to birds singing. Our little dog loved it. This property is so central to shops, beach, cycle path and plenty of walks. Also restaurant's, pubs, bakery. We will definitely be back and would recommend it .

Beautiful place, made a perfect stay for us and our 1 year old corgi Ziggy.

Some friends also joined us for a few nights. Weather was lovely, we could not find a parasol, messaged the owner, who advised one was on order. The food waste bags are very thin, and not much waste can be put in them, emptied daily otherwise they rip. Otherwise can not fault the place, we will booking to come back.

We had a wonderful time, The property is in an excellent place to explore great beaches and coastal features.

Ideal location with the beach straight down from the road from the property, perfect walking the dog with miles of coastal path. The town is also within walking distance and can definitely recommend the fish and chip shop. Close to the expanse of Pembrey Country Park. Can't wait to stay at the property again.

Everything in the property is finished to a high spec. Lovely furnishings and beds. The property upon arrival was spotlessly clean. Excellent location, and the on site parking was a added bonus. 10 out of 10...
