Needs a shelf or table in the bathroom for toiletries.
Light level very low in microwave corner of kitchen. Needs a mirror in the second bedroom. Shower tray had mould on base. Low ceilings in places. Otherwise a nice cottage with fantastic view.
What a fabulous place to stay.
The views are fantastic, and the accommodation so comfortable. The owners have done their best to make this a home from home. I was a little nervous about driving along the rather narrow roads in the Wentwood area, but the route from the main road to Glen View Farm was fine. The farm is certainly 'off the beaten track', but if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a perfect retreat. We would certainly stay here again if we visit the area in the future.
Spent a lovely few days here for some much needed rest and relaxation.
The hot tub was lovely and the water was checked daily The lodge was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location is very peaceful with great views and the farm was very easy to find. There was some work going on in the field next to the lodge but it didn't bother us at all. The lodge is next to the stables and my daughter enjoyed watching the horses going to and from the field. There were also a couple of curious chickens who came to visit us in the afternoons!
