5 The Coach House

This was our second visit to 5 The Coach House and 2 years later it lived up to expectations.

Its clean and comfortable, well equipped and in a fantastic location opposite the beach with a wonderful sea view from the living area. We did several beautiful and interesting walks. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay

From stepping over the threshold we were immediately delighted to see how welcoming, clean and inviting it was.

It was well fitted out with all the equipment we needed. The additional seaside inspired decorations were a lovely added touch. We were also very surprised by the welcome gift which was very kind of the owners. The situation of the apartment was superb, just metres away from the beach. The ideal holiday for 3 generations… thank you.

This was our second stay at 5 The Coach House and I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing a comfortable, clean, well equipped and convenient place to stay in Pembrokeshire.

This a perfectly located property with the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants only a stones throw from the front door. The property provides spectacular views of St.Brides Bay to watch the stunning sunsets. We are already planning our next visit.

We really enjoyed staying at The Coach House, it had everything we needed!

The view is beautiful and the weather was perfect! The welcome hamper was a nice touch, we will definitely be booking for 2027

It was lovely to stay inside such a light-filled flat, very near the sea.

However, the upstairs mattress was made of foam, we think, and did not provide comfortable sleeping throughout the stay. Also, the kitchen equipment (variety of utensils) was not adequate for someone who likes cooking. Not enough baking dishes for example.

A great location fantastic view.

Very clean and very well maintained. That good we booked again for next year on the day of our return. Thoroughly recommend

Lovely holiday cottage, very well equipped, with fantastic views and perfect location for our family holiday.

Thank you so much for the wine, chocolate, sweets & mince pies. We also loved the Christmas decorations! Only negative is the mattress/bed in the room downstairs. Uncomfortably soft and your head is lower than your body (we realised this is the floor in the room sloping). We would love to book again but don’t know if we could sleep in that bed again.

Accomodation is in an excellent location.

It was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen though a dishwasher and dryer would be nice although I understand room would be an issue. I would definately book this cottage apartment again and probably will do so in the future.

The Coach House was excellent place to stay, very clean and well equipped with everything that one would need provided.

The location was good for a base to explore Pembrokeshire.

We had a wonderful week at The Coach House.

The welcome pack on arrival was lovely surprise. The house was beautifully presented and was clean and tidy on our arrival, it was fully equipped to be a home from home and had plenty of information for anyone wishing to sample the local attractions, walks and to take in the spectacular County of Pembrokeshire. Its prime location afforded amazing views of the beach, sunsets and local wildlife. We would highly recommend this holiday cottage to anyone wishing to stay in Broad Haven and will hopefully be booking again for our stay next year.

Serious holiday blues today after coming home from a week in this beautiful place.

The accommodation is absolutely spot on, well kept, comfortable, family friendly and a gorgeous ocean view. Location is superb. Family of 4, with a 3 and 6 year old, and they loved it here too. Made it so easy for us with local beach days and exploring. Very high standard of facilities on the accommodation. 2nd visit and hope for a 3rd.

2023 we had no neighbours, this year had a family below with a child constantly banging a ball a few nights under the stairs.

Constant banging from next door maybe we should be looking at detached properties away from people.

Wonderful location, very clean, very well equipped.

The apartment was well appointed and fitted out lovely position , quality fittings and bedding etc, but it is small fine for a couple but a family of 4 would find it cramped and 6 is a no no insufficient seating and space the shower to ensuite is small i am 6ft and found it awkward to wash kept knocking the shower controls,but as i stated for a couple 5stars

This was a real gem, a thoughtful welcome hamper on arrival and everything about the accommodation was just perfect.

The location, cleanliness, the quality of every item was lovely from crockery to the furniture all up to date and well thought of. ( I wish all cottages had this standard as many seem to use old dated, worn out items!!) Plenty of parking and in an ideal location for the beach and easy access to other areas to visit. Thank you so much ..I would def visit again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

All is lovely and we had a fabulous time

Wonderful stay, the cottage had everything you could possibly need, certainly more than any other cottage i have stayed in.

Lovely welcome gifts and a fabulous location . This was a real home from home and i will certainly be back.

The property was smaller than we expected from the listing for 6 of us with small living space and no outside area for children to play immediately outside the property.

I think this needs to be a bit clearer in the listing. However, we had a fantastic holiday and it had absolutely everything you needed in the kitchen and in the property itself. The sunsets were beautiful from the main window and to hear the waves from there was really special. We were able to swim several times a day as the beach was so close which was amazing. We all loved all of the little extra touches with the soaps left in the bathrooms, hair things in little display bags in the main rooms and the lovely welcome hamper with welcome card. The apartment was spotless and we couldn’t fault it, we had a wonderful time and would love to stay again. Many thanks Laura and Jonathan Wilson

We were two couples sharing 5 The Coach House.

We had a really lovely stay with so much provided by the owner and the place was spotlessly clean and had plenty of private parking space. The view from the sitting room window was wonderful ...... the best place ever for viewing the sunsets. Thank you very much. If we return to Broad Haven you will be at the top of our list :-)

Wonderfully appointed with a stunning seaview, very comfortable and the most well equipped cottage we've ever stayed in.

Ideal location for exploring the beautiful coastline, St David's, Tenby, Stack Pole, Colby and, of course, Caldey and Skomer Islands. We rarely return to the same place, but would love to visit again one day. Highly recommended!

A lovely property, with a sea view.

Home from Home. Very comfortable very clean and well kept. Very well stocked kitchen with everything you need to to cook with and close to pubs and cafe's if you don't. Broad Haven and Little Haven are very picturesque wonderful clean beaches and well placed to explore the rest of the stunning Pembroke coast . When we arrived there was a bottle of wine and some Welsh Shortcake waiting for us . We would recommend this property.

We have stayed there twice now and would highly recommend it! A superb property!

Little cottage was perfect.

Unfortunately steps were a little steep for my 85 year old mum. Some beams a little low for my husband. We had a wonderful stay at our favourite beach on our yearly visit. Welcome gifts were a lovely touch and cottage was spotless on arrival. Not ideal for our family but a beautiful find for a small young family ❤️

The property was exactly as described.

Really convenient for beach and local shop and pub. An earlier review had pointed out that a grater was missing - and guess what it was provided when we were there. All very comfortable - and we were there in some horrible weather. Lovely welcome pack on arrival and range of tea bags provided.

It feels like home. On arrival there were some very thoughtful welcome gifts for us. The location is perfect and the view of the sea from the window in the main living area is beautiful - the perfect place to watch the sun set! Falling asleep to the sound of the waves in a cosy bed is just heaven. Everything we needed was there. We didn't want to leave and we can't wait to come back.

So well equipped, everything we needed and more. Was fantastic to have a washing machine with two young children in tow. Thank you for the welcome gifts, what a lovely touch! We will be back!!!

Living space smaller than it seemed on listing, but was fine for the four of us.

A larger fridge freezer would be welcomed, cupboard above fridge could be used up. Check in was easy, great directions, very clean apart from dirty used teapot in cupboard.

- very nice holiday home in a great location - the view of the sea is fantastic - the small terrace is a good place for cozy evenings with reading and wine - very lovingly furnished and everything you need is available - modern bathrooms/kitchen We loved it!

This is a lovely clean, well equipped, warm apartment.

All of the furnishings and bedding are of high quality. The location is great, just back from the sea front with super views, and the private parking is really convenient and easy. There were only two of us so we had our choice of rooms! Broad Haven is really well placed for exploring all of the Pembrokeshire coast, and we did several short walks from the property itself. One of the highlights was our trip to Skomer where we saw plenty of puffins.

We were a party of 2 adults and 4 children so the layout of the property was perfect for us.

(The boys thought it was very funny to sleep in a pink bedroom) It was very well equipped for cooking and preparing picnics, and the children loved the freedom of going to the well stocked Londis shop next to the property and shopping on their own and going to buy their own ice creams at the Ocean. The decor of the property was very tastefully furnished with lots of nice touches which made it seem so much more than a holiday rental. The owners rang to check that everything was ok for us and that we had no issues. Everything was perfect and luckily so was the weather. we would highly recommend. Places to visit …Clerkenhill adventure farm, reasonably priced and lots to do. Little Haven ……St Brides for a meal, family run pub. Dale. The Griffin board games for kids.

We had a great stay in a lovely, very well-equipped cottage.

It was clean and tidy, all the instructions for arrival were clear, and the location is great. Right on the beach and very easy access to a nice pub and a few local restaurants. It was great for getting around Pembrokeshire as well.

We had the most wonderful stay in this property over Christmas.

The property is very well equipped with everything we needed and we instantly felt at home. The welcome hamper and Christmas decorations were a really lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The location is perfect for rolling out of bed and onto the beach with the amenities of Broad Haven and Little Haven in easy reach.

This was our second visit to No.

5, and we enjoyed an equally lovely holiday. Weather not withstanding! The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable, and a lovely touch with the welcome pack, which was very generous, and absolutely very welcome. It was a very kind thought. The facilities are everything you could want, and so comfortable. The beds are more comfortable than my bed at home!! So we thoroughly enjoyed our second stay in Broad Haven, and hope to return again.

A wonderful property in a great location.

We were grateful to the owners for letting us know that we could access the property earlier. It made a massive difference. Your 5pm entry time and 9.30 leaving time is not necessary now that we are through COVID. You are simply taking a day away from peoples’ holidays. 7.5 hours to clean a cottage??

The cottage is very small.

Although enough beds for 6 there is not the living space for 6. Otherwise a very lovely cottage - all facilities that you could wish for and a great base to explore west wales

The property was just brilliant.

I've never seen a view from a window as beautiful as the one the property offers. I can honestly say there is nothing that needs to be changed. The owners of the property are very lucky. I would move into it at the drop of a hat.

With 4 adults and 2 toddlers with indifferent weather the living area was rather small.

Especialy if cooking Thought the arrival and departure times were a little mean It was a very well decorated and kitted out place in a brilliant location.

The Coach House is a gorgeous holiday home with a gorgeous view.

The home has everything you need to a very high standard and the beach is just across the road with shops, pubs, cafe and restaurant nearby. Great base to go and explore Pembrokeshire. Tried to click on top marks for all but page won’t let me.

Exceptionally well equipped , clean and comfy. Loved the balcony to watch sunsets. Great location at the beach and central to many great places to visit. We loved your book of all the coastal trails and completed most of them

The Coachouse is fantastic. A wonderfully equipped maisonette with all the facilities you could need. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable.The views across the bay of the sun setting are magnificent.The area has everything you could wish for sea,sand, cliffs, rockpools, ponds and boardwalk, forest walks, coastal paths. We would love to return in the future and highly recommend the Coachouse to anyone interested in having a relaxing breakaway. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Thought it was a great location, beds really comfortable.

Has everything u need in terms of kitchen utensils, and the living area was cosy.

It was excellent accommodation and in a prime location.

Property as described. Couple of issues with cleanliness but fed back to the housekeeper at the time who responded promptly, all good. Queen beds would be more comfortable, but that’s just me. Great holiday, right next to a glorious beach.

This cottage is fantastic, two minute walk to the beach, plenty of parking onsite, sunsets over sea is enchanting whilst every thing you would want inside and immaculately clean, nice restaurants with in 3 minutes walk.

We were very pleased with the Coach House.

The welcome pack and note from the owners was much appreciated. The situation was ideal and so good to have plenty of parking (we were in two cars). The cottage was very well equipped and, although the living area was very bijou, it was comfortable and perfect for the 3 of us. The Sunshine restaurant was excellent and all facilities needed were around. Broadhaven is a lovely quiet resort with a beautiful beach and near to Skomer and Ramsey and the lovely coastal path.

The accommodation was great; superb location and sparkling clean.

Perfect for four of us. Sykes Cottages were good at keeping us informed and sending instructions; however I would have liked a contact email - I did have a couple of questions through the booking process that were never answered. 9am check out was rather early and my email to the one name/email address I had on our booking form (asking if we could extend to 10am) went unanswered....

The location is superb and just 2 minutes' walk to the beach, Londis and cafe/pub.

Excellent car park. All basic amenities were present. Comfortable beds. The water supply to the top floor bathroom (both shower and sink) was extremely poor. The pressure was so low that at times the water supply would almost stop in the upstairs sink. As a result, we all had to use the downstairs ensuite which had normal water pressure. The living room, kitchen, upstairs bedrooms are quite small but adequate for a small family. Apart from the water supply issue, we loved the place. The owner was very friendly and responded to our call at the start of the trip. We did not bother her with the water issue as we were not keen for plumbers to interrupt the holidays. Broad Haven is a hidden gem.

We absolutely loved our stay here.

Everything in the property was extremely well considered from the decor to the appliances. It really did feel like home from home. The location was perfect for sunset stroll, morning runs along the coast and exploring the whole of Pembrokeshire.

Had a lovely 5 day break.

The cottage apartment was delightful, very well equipped and nicely decorated, also with lovely sea views from lounge and patio area. Great to have the Londis store next door to us, as well as the beach on our doorstep. Broad Haven is lovely large beach too. We did a nice walk to Little Haven when the tide was out. We were blessed with fantastic weather every day so were able to do some wonderful cliff walks and the scenery was stunning. Visited, Norton Haven and Newgale beaches which were lovely as well as St. David's Cathedral. Dale was nice as well as St. Brides beach. Love the Pembrokeshire coastline.

I congratulate the owners on how they present the accommodation Weather was chilly but dry and bright allowing daily walks along the stunning coastline

5 The Coach House, Broad Haven was lovely and cosy and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay.

The views are lovely and we watched the storms from the warmth and comfort of the apartment. It was exceptionally clean and well presented, beautifully clean bedding and towels. Bedrooms are spacious and comfy and the whole property is very well equipped. There were just two of us so we had plenty of space, but I feel a family of six would struggle with the size of the living area and kitchen in all honesty.

The cottage was very well stocked with everything we might need.

It was clean and comfortable. All aspects of the booking process were carried out professionally. Our family of six had a great week there and we would definitely recommend it.

The house was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at 5 The Coach House in Broad Haven, and we still absolutely love the place, and will no doubt try and book a week down there again if we can for next year at some stage.
