What guests are saying
We met the owner on arrival and briefly during our stay and they were friendly and helpful.
The location is good in that the cottage is not in the centre of Monmouth (narrow streets and one way systems) but across the Wye, on the East bank, 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre. The only drawback is that the back of the house is close below the A4136, going uphill at that point, so there was noise from traffic. This wasn’t a problem with windows closed, but might be an issue on hot nights. The hot tub was great!
Lovely place had a great time.
.really comfortable clean and everything u need..hot tub was so nice and bbq was great..bad points only a few... no great views industrial estate right in front of u..out the back busy road and u csn hear it..but the worst thing was the floorboards creaking..if u was downstairs in the double room u can hear every movement they created badly...but except for that was really lovely place
House was nice however house location very poor road traffic noise was horrible front and back of house not what we were expecting if you are looking for a quiet location this is not for you
