Bryn Alaw

A very nice property in a good location with an excellent view.

It was well equpped for self catering. Also a very good secure grassy area for our dog to run about. The only negatives were, firstly there was no bin outside, for putting our bagged dog mess in. The other thing to be aware of, is if you walk into the village, along the main road, there is no footpath for a short section, which can be hazardous. All in all, despite the weather a very nice stay. Would stay again.

Newport is a great position for exploring many places in Pembrokeshire. Newport also has good pubs for eating in and a tasty butchers. We had a really lovely stay in Bryn Alaw.

All in all a very comfortable stay, nice to be close to the village centre and the beautiful views.

We would certainly recommend the property and come again.

Fantastic views. Clean and confortable and light accommodation. Peaceful setting. Near the beach and Newport town good roads and not much traffic. Would stay again, didnt want to leave

A beautiful bungalow in a great location with amazing views.

Huge, enclosed garden perfect for our dog, and wonderful indoor space. The large, comfortable lounge has stunning views of the beach and sea, bedrooms are lovely and the whole place is bright and has a modern feel. It felt like home from home and we didn’t want to leave! Easy walks to Newport and beach and access to the Pembrokeshire coast path. A perfect holiday! Thank you!

Great cottage in fantastic location - what a view!

Superb location with a stunning view.

A few minutes walk from the centre of Newport in a very quiet spot (total peace!) The property is well equipped and very cosy-if you have family the layout allows you to find your own space. We enjoyed many walks to the coast path with our dog and the local pubs and restaurants (some of which are excellent! Thankyou to the very helpful owner who left us a beautiful welcome pack and lovely Christmas decorations(even a tree!) Very highly recommended!!!

We had a lovely restful stay at Bryn Alaw, property has everything you could need.

Reason I have given a 4 for cleanliness is because the windows could do with a good clean inside and out, to maximise the stunning view. We had a wonderful hamper left and owner even brought us milk, which was so thoughtful.

Absolutely beautiful residence location and property amazing.

The only thing I would change is some comfy seating on the grass as we had some fantastic weather. I have already recommended to many friends and acquaintances

We had such a relaxing break, Judy out dog loved a run in the garden and going to the beach almost every day. Will definitely be back.

The bungalow was perfect for our needs, the kitchen was well equipped and everywhere was clean and tidy. It was lovely to have a welcome pack of goodies and milk. The garden was perfect for our 2 small dogs. The views from the bungalow were amazing and there was plenty to do close by. We will definitely be back.

Great views from elevated position of countryside and sea, seating areas around house to enjoy sun or shade. Easy access to town and coast path but return walk may be a little bit of a hike for some. Easy parking at property and in and around town as starting points for walks. Great kitchen for preparing meals and enjoying views and loved the dining area also for sunny breakfasts. No complaints at all. Plenty of beautiful walks in area so no need to venture far. Thanks so much

Comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage with lovely views and handy enclosed garden for dogs.

Newport is an attractive village with Spa store ,excellent butchers and 4 pubs. We only got to go to one but others looked nice too. Plenty of lovely beaches close by and places of historical interest to visit.

Lovely clean property.

Well equipped. Quiet location with views of the sea. Enjoyed a few lunches in the Castle Inn. (they do small portions for those of us with small appetites) Welsh cakes and milk very welcome, thank you.

Lovely bungalow, clean and comfortable with great views.

Good location, within walking distance to Newport, which has some lovely pubs/restaurants- a really lovely village. Only downside for us was that the garden is not completely dog proof and fully secure. So if you’ve a small dog ( easy to get through gaps) or a big dog ( able to scale a low wall) then you need to keep on a lead. Other than that, outside space is great for relaxing and enjoying the views.

The holiday home had spectacular views, very spacious, lovely layout.

Nice garden for the dog but we have a springer Spaniel and he could jump the wall onto the road. Nice to be able to walk down to the beach, into town and step out of the home and do a walk only used the car twice that week. Would stay there again, but the dog would have to be put on a long lead.

Perfect spot for sight seeing around this area of Wales.

A beautiful bungalow with beautiful views of both coast and countryside.

Well equipped, comfortable and clean. A 10 minute walk into Newport where there is a good choice of places to eat. Despite being close to the main, albeit quiet, road it did not spoil our stay. Although the walk into Newport is flat, if you choose to walk down Maes Cnwci to the coast it is a steep walk back!
