Full of charm and warmth, this cosy self‑catering holiday home offers the perfect blend of traditional character and modern comfort, making it an ideal retreat for couples or a small family looking to explore the spectacular coast and countryside of West Wales.

Sleeping up to four guests across a double bedroom with an adjoining walkthrough twin bedroom, the cottage is welcoming and comfortable at any time of year. Underfloor and central heating, along with an inviting inglenook fireplace with a gas‑fired stove, ensure a snug stay whatever the weather. The open‑plan ground floor features a well‑appointed kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer, kettle and toaster, flowing into a comfortable sitting area. A Smart TV, high‑speed WiFi (ideal for remote working), books and games provide everything you need for relaxed evenings in. Outside, guests can enjoy a small enclosed private garden with seating, table and BBQ perfect for outdoor dining after a day exploring. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is nearby, offering breathtaking walks along rugged cliffs, hidden coves and sweeping sea views. The Parrog beach and estuary are just moments away ideal for a morning wander, kayaking, birdwatching or a relaxed evening drink at the boat club. Newport town is a short walk, with no need to use the car, and offers independent shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants, a weekly producers’ market, Post Office, butcher, pharmacy, GP surgery, convenience store, golf course and tennis courts.

For outdoor enthusiasts, adventure starts here. Enjoy hiking, cycling (with bike hire nearby), kayaking (including guided trips), horse riding, golf, tennis coaching and water sports, all close by. The Preseli Mountains beckon walkers and cyclists, while nearby highlights include the beaches of Aberfforest and Pwllgwaelod, Dinas Mountain, Cilgerran Castle, and day trips to Fishguard and Cardigan.

Whether you’re seeking peaceful relaxation, coastal adventure or quality family time, Middle Cottage offers a truly special base in one of Wales’ most beautiful and unspoiled areas.

I found the furniture was not very comfortable for prolonged sitting but I do have a back problem, luckily the bed was very comfortable.
