Description

Garth Cottage is a charming retreat situated in the heart of St Davids, Pembrokeshire, near the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

With captivating sea, mountain, and cathedral views, an inviting open-fire, some family-friendly facilities, and permit parking for one car, this pet-friendly haven welcomes small families or friends, along with one well-behaved pet.

Step inside the cottage and you’ll find a welcoming sitting room, where a plush sofa and armchair invite you to settle in by the open-fire.

It’s the perfect spot to spend the evening, whether you’re catching up on your favourite show or simply letting the glow of the flames fill the room.

Beyond lies the kitchen/diner, fully equipped for all your cooking needs, with a dining table ready for meals shared after a day of exploring.

Upstairs, two restful bedrooms await.

The king-size room, complete with a wall-mounted TV and armchair, makes a lovely retreat for quiet moments with a good book, while the single room offers a peaceful space to rest your head.

A sleek bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC completes the upper floor, giving you the choice of a refreshing shower or a long soak.

Outside, the enclosed front courtyard is a slight extension of the cottage.

With a picnic bench set among the fresh air, it’s an ideal spot for breakfast in the sunshine or an evening drink as you plan tomorrow’s adventures.

Step outside Garth Cottage and immerse yourself in the rich heritage of St. Davids, with its magnificent Cathedral, the site of pilgrimage and spiritual hub for centuries.

Go on an invigorating walk to the enlightened spiritual spaces of St Non's Chapel and Well, which offer panoramic views across to the stunning coastline.

Take a picturesque coastal excursion from St Justinian's, where you can marvel at the dramatic cliffs and remarkable wildlife.

An insightful day can be spent at Scolton Manor, a Victorian country house with a rich history, which is surrounded by 60 acres of lush parkland called Scolton Park, consistently refreshed by the flowing Doxbin.

Lastly, for the more adventurous, Hangar 5 Trampoline Park ensures hours of fun and gravity-defying delight.

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is also nearby, where you can hike along the stunning coastal path, spot seals and seabirds on a wildlife boat trip, or enjoy kayaking through hidden coves and sea caves.

At the end of a glorious day, return to the tranquillity of Garth Cottage, and relish in its inviting comfort, ready to recharge for your next day’s escapade.

A delightful cottage well located in the attractive, tiny city of St David's.

Just a few minutes walk from the stunning cathedral and Bishop's palace with a bus stop outside, a supermarket just opposite and a parking pass to the supermarket carpark. Easy walking to the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast with harbours, coves and ancient monuments live St Non's Chapel nearby. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Recommended.

We have just enjoyed a lovely week at Garth Cottage.

It was a really cosy, very well equipped little cottage that is ideally situated for exploring St David’s and the surrounding area. Angela provided a welcome tray and offered us some excellent recommendations for local eateries etc. It all made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
