Description

Ty Len is a charming, double-fronted cottage, nestled in the heart of the picturesque St Davids, Pembrokeshire.

With original features throughout, and a blend of contemporary furnishings, this pet-friendly cottage is a wonderful choice for couples or small families, looking to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Park up in a nearby public car park, just a stone’s throw from the property, before travelling on foot to your new abode.

Step indoors, hang up your coats and make yourself at home in the inviting sitting room, with plenty of plush seating to sink into in front of the woodburning stove.

Continue your travels into the kitchen/diner, the social hub of Ty Len, where you can prepare meals with state-of-the-art appliances at your fingertips, before gathering as a six around the traditional, antique dining table.

If the sun is shining, head up the rear steps to reach the elevated patio area, a haven for alfresco dining, which is where you’ll also locate the handy utility, housing a washing machine.

Once you’re ready for some rest, complete your nightly routine in either the ground-floor shower room, or sleek bathroom, before hunkering down in the well-appointed bedrooms; select between two king-size rooms, and a twin, all adorned with exposed stonework and lovely wooden floors.

Ty Len is perfectly positioned to explore the fascinating city of St Davids, surrounded by sandy beaches, rugged coves, rolling hills and quaint villages.

Step out and be inspired by the area’s astonishing beauty, and take a stroll around St Davids, where you’ll find plenty of traditional pubs, cafes and eateries to ease your stay, along with the remains of St Davids Bishop's Palace / Llys yr Esgob Tyddewi and St Davids Cathedral.

Why not take a day trip to the quaint harbour of Fishguard, where you can follow the Marine Walk hiking trail around the coast, stopping for refreshments at The Ship Inn, or head to the ancient, walled town of Pembroke where you can explore the mighty castle, with over 300 years of history, enveloped by the breath-taking waters of Mill Pond, the perfect setting for a leisurely afternoon.

Your next Welsh adventure awaits at Ty Len.

Had a wonderful week long stay in this beautifully furnished, comfortable cottage right in the heart of St David's.

It's well kitted out with everything you need (especially the kitchen!) to make your stay a very happy one, the house is very spacious and had lots of lovely personal touches. Greatly appreciated all the thought and effort that went into everything!

Disappointed with this property.

It was situated on a very busy, noisy road and was single glazed throughout meaning we were woken every morning by the traffic not to mention being near a pub meaning we were kept awake at pub closing time as rowdy drunks made there way home, some nights until 1am. None of my party slept well throughout our stay and we ended up leaving two days early. I felt the house needed quite a lot of TLC as it seemed a bit tired and the twin room was lacking in clothes storage so clothes ended up having to be stacked on the windowsill. Parking is difficult, we managed to get a spot in the road behind the property after some driving around but then didn't want to move the car for the duration of our stay as the only other option was the expensive car park. I've stayed in properties with no parking in other locations and a parking permit for a local carpark has been provided in the property cost. The housekeeper who popped round was very nice and they were very generous with items such as diswasher tablets, toilet rolls etc.
