Our stay at the Nook was wonderful Lovely people Lovely area .

Robert made us very welcome. We came to Wales to hopefully buy a property and have been successful. I left a business card as I'm a painter and decorator So Rob if you need anything decorated in the future Please let me know Thanks again Steve and Sue

A lovely little cottage,cosy and comfortable.

It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Ideal for two people and a dog! The owners were very friendly and helpful. A central position for some lovely walks around the local area and the Preselis,such a relaxing week.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Nook.

The owner is very friendly and very helpful. I had a flat tyre when I arrived and he helped me sort it out like it was no bother. I really appreciated that. It's perfectly situated to get to a variety of different places around the area, love how close to the coast it is and my dog was so relaxed there. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

Rob and Angie are the most perfect host.

Situated in the small and quiet hamlet of Star The Nook is ideally located for exploring the north Pembrokeshire coastline with it's cracking little coves and beaches.

We stayed mid September, when the crowds had gone back home and everywhere was more laid back and less frenetic! The Nook has just about everything you would need for a comfortable stay; keep your expectations realistic and you shouldn't be disappointed. The owner Rob and wife Angie were welcoming, on hand for a chat, without being overly attentive. It is a compact dwelling with limited storage. The bathroom is up a small step from the main room; worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues. There is a small enclosed, gravelled, outside area but there is access to a larger garden/seating area almost adjacent to the property. A single parking space is tight, adjacent to The Nook, and off the public road. Would we stay again? Yes, without a doubt!

An ergonomic nightmare for normal sized people.

The bathroom may look nice but in real terms it is unusable. The sink is too small. The bath is too small and as for the shower you cannot stand up in it. Dreadful. The hot water is dangerously hot. The mattress is very poor being collapsed and effectively worn out. This also does not bode well for hygiene In real terms we do not think the space is suitable for accommodation and we feel out of pocket on our stay.

Didn’t realise it was so small and parking was a bit tight.

Overall, clean and tidy but expensive for what it was. More thought should be given to handrails in the bathroom, especially for older people. Wi-Fi poor and lack of instruction s for oven etc. No space for hanging clothes and no way of drying wet gear, such as an electric towel rail? Plenty of radiators but no way of turning them on. Small leak in roof makes tiled floor a bit slippery. Owners pleasant and friendly but overall, the cottage was too bijou for the price.

Not our first stay at the nook .

Friendly owners and willingness to help is greatly appreciated. Very kind people. WiFi hit and miss at times hopefully will be better next time. Beautiful area and a relaxing place . Look forward to our next holiday .

The Nook was perfect for us as a couple and our dog.

The owners were friendly, warm and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable and the place was very well equipt. The village is beautiful and so peaceful. It provided an ideal base for exploring the whole of the South West of Wales. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay

The cottage itself was lovely and was fully equipped.Milk in the fridge when we arrived and plenty of tea bags and coffee to make ourselves a welcome drink Lovely walks through farm and woods for the dogs Would highly recommend a holiday here.

This cottage has all you need for two people and 2 dogs.

Enclosed garden with parking next to the property. High ceiling in the main living area. Large comfortable bed and Beautiful bathroom too. Friendly, happy place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable. The area is stunning and this little cottage is perfectly placed for discovering the area

The owners were delightful and the whole experience very relaxing so ideal place for a break from the humdrum and/or pressures of life at home.

Star, the village where the Nook is located, is slightly remote but the roads in and out are good though narrow.

The Nook was cosy and comfortable.

Hosts were absolutely brilliant and made you feel welcome and at home, Rob even showed me around their grounds and let me show my dog their farm animals! The Nook was clean, tidy and had everything you needed for the stay and more. They really made the whole experience absolutely perfect! Don’t have one complaint! Thank you!

A beautiful conversion into a cozy little holiday let. Stunning bathroom. The only slight downside was the WiFi wasn’t working but I’m sure that’ll be rectified by now.
