Cambrie

We had a fabulous break in Tenby.

The property is well placed to reach the town and to access the major routes to surrounding places of interest. C9mfortable, clean and tidy with everything one would wish to have provided. And the access to the on site swimming pool was very much appreciated and a bonus. Highly recommended by us.

Great apartment, lovely views, had everything you would need for a weeks holiday.

The bed was really comfy, slept better than at home. The pool is an added bonus. It's a 10 minute walk into town which, for us was perfect. I have already booked again for next year.

Cambrie is a very well kept property.

On arrival there were some Welsh cakes for us which were great with a cup of tea. The house manual contained all the information you needed and a separate folder with instructions for everything was available. When relaxing in the apartment at the end of the day we really enjoyed sitting in the lounge with the bi-fold doors onto the small balcony open. The property is at the top of the hill with a view from the lounge / dining table out towards Caldey Island. It took us 15 to 20 minutes to walk to and from the centre of town. The bed was very comfortable and their was plenty of useful storage. We'd definitely come back, in fact we didn't want to leave as we were so comfortable. We had fantastic weather so cannot comment on the communal gym or pool.

Immaculately clean modern accommodation.

Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the sea from the lounge.

Good everything, good owner contact ,good clean comfortable apartment, quiet with distant sea views, having a swim every day good, and good system to book your private use of pool.

Thank you also for hot cross buns and milk, we find milk an essential, and so many do not provide.. much better for a cuppa on arrival.than wine which we don't drink

Luxury apartment with first class amenities, a great view and short walk to North Beach.

Cannot fault the apartment or communication with owner. Great value for money and made full use of swimming pool and gym throughout. Enjoyed a full week in November with the most varied weather imaginable. Storm Claudia and flooding on first day, brilliant sunshine - Shirt sleeves and 17c on day 2 and two inches of snow and -3c on last day! Almost got wiped out by falling snow from the roof as we departed! Don’t we just love Wales.

The property was exactly as stated in it's write up.

We had a fantastic break there in really bad weather but we wanted for nothing. It was really warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Couldn't fault this apartment.

Very clean, comfortable beds and had everything you could want. Great views as well which were unexpected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

I can not fault anything absolutely perfect 100%

Really a fantastic place to stay.

Really tastefully decorated, more than well equipped. Lots of little Extras like sand toys for the kids or a little care package in the day arrival. Most comfy beds we ever had . We didn't use the Swimmingpool, but ist looks well maintained. Nice View. Not far from town center & the North Beach. We felt welcomed and loved it very much. We definitively want to come back for a longer stay.

The property was very comfortable and spotlessly clean the views from the balcony were brilliant and it was nice to have some personal touches like books and games my only gripe was that the balcony and communal hallway could do with a lick of paint but apart from that everything else was great.

Wow - what a fabulous property.

We have stayed in a lot of properties over the years and this is right up there amongst the best. Extremely well presented with everything you could want - very clean, light and airy. The pint of milk and welsh cakes on arrival was a lovely touch and very welcome. Last, and not least, the view - the view across to the beautiful island of Caldey was a joy to behold and one to savour. Not a question of if we will return but when.

Perfect holiday apartment, spacious ,clean, very quiet, modern, comfortable beds and smelt divine.

A lot of thought has been put into the needs of their guests, everything is provided to make your stay comfortable, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, well stocked kitchen, even beach toys and tent. Guest information file / tourist leaflets which we found very useful. We loved to open the bifold doors onto the balcony and enjoyed a glass of wine, looking at the amazing sea/ Caldey island views. We used the swimming poo/ sauna a few times in the main building, lovely and clean. You just book a slot when you arrive for your private use. It takes about 15 to 20 mins to walk or 5 mins to drive into beautiful Tenby. We explored the area/ beaches, lots of nice restaurants, boat trips, coastal cliff walks, St David`s, Saundersfoot and Bosherston Lily ponds trail at Stackpole Estate, which leads to the beautiful unspoilt Broad haven beach or you can walk to Stackpole walled gardens/tea room. We would definitely stay at Cambrie if we return to visit Tenby again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Really lovely, clean and well equipped apartment with great views of the sea.

Access to shared pool and gym a bonus. Only a short walk into centre of Tenby, where there are many shops & restaurants.

Tenby 31st March to 4th April 2025 Caldey House Cambrie is a first floor apartment with great views.

The balcony was such plus as we had fantastic weather for our stay. The apartment was attractive , clean and well maintained. A well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. An unending supply of hot water and good functional main bathroom and ensuite in the double bedroom. Very quiet and tranquil stay. Designated parking close to the property. Tenby a short walk from the property is a great town. A good choice of cafes and restaurants. Lovely beaches and walks. We had a brilliant stay.

Very comfortable and relaxing apartment.

Glorious views over to Caldey Island. Swimming pool was clean and booking system worked well. Would stay there again.

Excellent property in a stunning location, with to die for views across Tenby.

A 5 min walk into beautiful Tenby town. Exceptionally quiet & peaceful setting with a Pool & Sauna as an added bonus. Would of been nice if the xmas decorations were put up for us instead of having to do this ourselves, but the owner did contact us to explain the situation beforehand, so we knew we would have to do this on arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous.

The apartment is gorgeous and so well equipped. Fantastic location and the pool is a great addition.

Unpleasant smell in ensuite, which moved to bathroom - drains?

Hairs and fluff on pbathroom floor. Grill pan and oven greasy tried to clean with sponge scourer and washing up liquid, not enough! Black mark on duvet cover. It is a shame because initial view was it was lovely, great location though. Beds were comfy. Views great. Great location

Apartment was lovely we would stay again , the only fault was a large stain on duvet cover , which looked like a urine stain , didn't noticed it till two days later when making bed , obviously I turned duvet over , , apart from that tv reception was a bit hit and miss , but we had a lovely stay ,

Lovely apartment beautifully decorated everything there to be a home from home.

superb location. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

Lovely property with good views above buildings to sea.

Access very steep Facilities & pool excellent. Would visit again.

A lovely apartment, 10 minutes walk into Tenby town centre.

The facilities in the apartment were excellent, everything was provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable as were the 2 sofas and the kitchen was finished to a high standard. Having a dedicated parking space was also a real plus. Other reviews have mentioned the hill when walking back from town. This was not a problem for us but could be for somebody with walking difficulties. The best thing we can say about this apartment is that we wouldn't hesitate to book it again if we return to Tenby.

A fantastic apartment with everything you need for a family holiday.

Great location, 10-15 min walk into Tenby downhill. Pool and sauna available through booking system. Only downside and not owners fault, 30 min slots between 9-5 with no changing room and very strict one family at a time, still using COVID guidelines which spoiled use. Half way through week we gave up. Comfy beds, kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake all you'd like. Lots of thought has gone into the apartment from the owners, lovely welcome bits in the kitchen and the pillow spray in the rooms was a nice addition. we'd happily book again and equally recommend to friends and family. Courtesy call/message to check all was ok after a day or two. Thank you for a lovely home from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cambrie, very well equipped apartment with lovely views!

Great property and a great stay.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Cambrie.

The apartment is in a great location. Just a short walk into Tenby. It was very clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Tenby and beyond , looking towards Caldey Island. The small balcony was put to good use each morning for breakfast. The apartment did have everything you could possibly need. A very well equipped kitchen, comfy living / dining area.. ( with lovely views) and extremely comfortable beds! And the black out blinds made for a great nights sleep! There really wasn’t much not to like. We made use of the pool a couple of times. Would have better if the pool was available after 5pm but that time was available for apartment owners only.. which was only brought to our attention on arrival in the guide book. Other than that we could not fault. Would definitely recommend and return! ☺️

We loved our stay at Cambrie.

The apartment was thoughtfully appointed with everything we could possibly need. Decor was of a high standard and all appliances were good quality and in full working order. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have the use of two very nice bathrooms. The situation was perfect with gorgeous views from the balcony and an easy stroll into the centre of Tenby. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cambrie and would certainly stay again if we came back to Tenby.

Stunning apartment with everything you need for a comfortable holiday.

Good location with parking. Use of swimming pool and sauna was a great bonus. The sitting room offered beautiful sea views and the doors opening onto little balcony were a great asset. A wonderful break.

Had a fabulous time in Tenby, staying in Cambrie was lovely, it was spacious, clean and very comfortable, great views and only a 10 min walk to the centre of town.

The leisure facilities looked great but the weather was good so we didn't need to use them. Good communication with Huw the owner, wouldn't hesitate to book here again, we highly recommend.

Beautifully presented property, it was cosy and comfortable, it was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Situated just a 10 min walk from Tenby, it also had an allocated parking spot too. The use of the pool was great, and easy to book.

Views and location much better than we had anticipated.

Swimming pool was lovely, apartment had everything we needed.

We had an amazing stay, the apartment well comfortable and well equipped.

The apartment was generally clean but the bathroom extractors and windows could have been cleaner. We loved the view of Tenby from the balcony, we caught some gorgeous sunrises in the morning. The icing on the cake for us was having sole use of the pool, we swam every day! The pool area was fantastic, we’d book again just for this. The only thing about the stay that was slightly negative for us were the steep steps leading up to the apartment entrance, you really had to watch your footing, I imagine a fall would result in a really bad injury. That being said, we wouldn’t hesitate in coming back, I’m already trying to work out some dates for another break here.

We had a lovely time.

the apartment was beautiful, all what we needed, plenty to see and do We had a great time in the pool, sauna and gym which was a added bonus

There needs to be a mention off the steepness of the car park/entrance in the description of the property as anyone that is not fully fit will struggle, also extractor fans in both on suite and bathroom require a good clean to make them work properly.

Lovely flat with all you need for a great holiday.

Walk into town fine but on return hill to the flat could be challenging for people with limited mobility.

Absolute gem in a beautiful place didn't want to leave .

Huw rang to check everything was OK which it was . Pool was an added bonus grandchildren loved it 100% we will return . X

Without doubt the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in.

It was immaculate and you wanted for nothing. First Class.

We really enjoyed our stay here.

The apartment was clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and liked the arrangements for using it. It was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. If we return to Tenby we will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful apartment, well furnished with all necessary equipment and an amazing view from the balcony of Tenby.

Be aware that it is accessed from the main road by a steep incline followed by the outdoor steps and indoor stairs to negotiate. We left fitter than we when we arrived!

An excellent property with everything you could need in it and more.

Great location nice 10-15 min walk into Tenby a bit of a hill coming back but it was worth it for the views from the balcony which were stunning. Very friendly and efficient owners. The added bonus of the shared indoor pool was nice too. We had a fabulous holiday and hope to return very soon.

Lovely place, really clean and comfortable.

?everything we needed and more and all to a high quality

A beautiful property, very clean and comfortable, with more facilities than we expected.

A real home from home. Had a lovely stay despite the weather.

The apartment was everything we hoped for.

Very clean, warm and comfortable. Lovely views and in a good position, so very convenient for a walk into town, but nice and quiet. The apartment was modern, well decorated with every convenience. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely stay - thank you

Lovely flat, with beautiful views over Tenby and the bay.

Flat very comfortable and warm, with everything that we needed. Easy walk into Tenby town, where there are plenty of quirky little shops and good places to eat

What a lovely apartment set in the heart of Tenby.

This apartment has all your needs to relax and take in the lovely view of the sea and beaches of Tenby. After a busy day exploring the surrounding area of interest, you could return back to the apartment and relax in the comfort of this home from home. The added bonus was also to relax in the on site Surna and Pool or even keep fit with the Gym located a few yards away. Will most definitely be returning to this lovely apartment soon. H Harrison

What a wonderful apartment, had literally everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Super clean, tastefully furnished and decorated. It was a 10 to 15 minute walk into town, which I enjoyed. Tenby itself has so many independent shops and cafes / restaurants and also a well stocked Sainsburys. We didn’t use the pool, just didn’t get round to it, with everything we needed on the doorstep, or in the apartment, and easy access to fab beaches and the coastal path, we had plenty to do and barely needed the car! We used public transport to get us to our coastal walk starting points, which apart from Sunday, seemed a good service. Lovely relaxing stay here, thank you.

The owners couldn't help us enough, the flat is beautiful, the kitchen is really well stocked for cooking and eating, the settees are comfortable with a good size table to eat at.

The view is stunning and the outside table was used frequently for a morning drink. The bedrooms are again beautiful, the double with the en-suite, wardrobe and drawers and the smaller room with 2 single beds but still plenty of room and storage. The main bathroom had a low bath which was really helpful to get in and out of the shower. I cannot eulogise enough about how at home we felt and how beautiful it was. Will recommend and return.

The apartment was superb, excellently equipped and everything was great quality.

The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was extremely quiet. A great location, beautiful beaches and a wonderful selection of restaurants a ten minute walk. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful accommodation, very clean with everything provided for an enjoyable stay.

The beds were probably the comfiest we have ever slept in! The owners were lovely and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Tenby is a 15 minute walk away (uphill on the way back but not too difficult) and has plenty of restaurants and shops. The harbor area is very picturesque, and the beaches are fabulous. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, it had all the amenities needed as well as being very homely and comfortable.

This apartment is amazing, so spacious and comfortable.

Everything to make your time here amazing has been thought of by the owners. Loved the kitchen, bathrooms, and the bed was so comfortable. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family, and would love to stay here again if we ever came to Tenby again

The apartment is very well presented, well appointed and clean and offers really comfortable accommodation.

The kitchen is well equipped. The lounge has views across the rooftops to the sea. Town is easily accessible by walking down the hill and the harbour is approximately one mile away.

Great property as described would definitely return

For us it was the perfect location, in easy walking distance to the picturesque harbour, good Italian, English and Japanese restaurants offering proper decent food The flat was modern, comfortable and contemporary facilities, exactly as described on the website.

The owner phoned us to see if we need anything or have any questions. This was very much appreciated.

Apartment was clean, comfortable, well furnished and very well thought out with great views of Caldey Island.

It was conveniently located 10 minutes from Tenby north beach. Our girls liked the rocking chair and the swimming pool was a bonus! We had a fantastic week and would thoroughly recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay here.

Apartment was well equipped, modern and spotlessly clean. Area was private and very quiet. Use of the swimming pool was a great bonus too. Lovely views from the balcony to Caldey Island. Nice walk down into the town which was not too far. Bit hilly on the way back but fine for people of average fitness. Can thoroughly recommend.

We found this apartment comfortable, modern and functional, but still cosy, and equipped to a high standard.

It was an added bonus to have the swimming pool, sauna and gym in close proximity and we would highly recommend this apartment and its location to all but the most unfit.

Three Ladies had a thoroughly comfortable 4 night stay at this beautifully furnished first floor apartment.

Small balcony with sea views. A 15 minute downhill walk into Tenby, a slow uphill slog going back.

Property had everything we needed in the right location.

Parking is slightly tricky with a large car as you cannot see the edge of the steps. We had glorious weather all week which meant we were out walking each day and relaxing in the property at night. It had everything we needed plus central heating which we rarely used. It was clean and comfortable and a pleasant walk into Tenby for our evening meal.

Beautiful property, great view and good location

A perfect place for our family.

Comfortable , clean. Enjoyed welcoming the sunrise with a cup of tea on the balcony, watching the light shimmering on the water in the distance. We were thrilled to be so close to the beaches and amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our session in the pool. Returned home relaxed and refreshed.

Excellent flat, very comfy and clean and wonderful views to the coast and sunny aspect in the sitting room.

Kitchen facilities were above average for rented accommodation. Swimming pool wonderful and probably due to the time of year, February, very under used :-) Easy walk into Tenby and lovely to have off road parking.

The property was more than we expected beautifully decorated and having someone come in every week to change bedding and towels was great, the pool was well kept and extremely clean loved it,the beds were very comfortable and extra pillows there if required, the kitchen had everything you would need and more, tea, coffee and milk sachets supplied as well as dishwasher and washing machine tablets, tea towels etc etc couldn't have asked for more, received a couple of calls from the owners enquiring if all was well with the apartment and in all a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Pat and Doug

Lovely, comfortable flat, with superb views.

Very obliging owners.

Lovely apartment, great location, well equipped, great view .

.. what's not to like

Very clean.

The flat is bright and spacious. With an elevated view of the sea we were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The walk up from town is no big deal, and well worth it to stay somewhere so quiet. Plus ,of course, car parking.

Loved the accommodation, very modern and well equipped, and only a 10 minute walk into Tenby, which has fabulous beaches and plenty of nice bars & restaurants.

We also enjoyed using the on-site pool and sauna.

I think it should be stressed that Tenby is very hilly and the walk into town and back from the apartment is only for the fit.

We had a lovely week at Cambrie.

The apartment was very well furnished and equipped and provided us with an excellent base for exploring Tenby and the surrounding area. Huw and Carole could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

We have stayed in quite a few holiday rentals and we think Cambrie is the best one so far.

It is extremely comfortable, has fantastic views and it is only ten minutes walk from Tenby town. Also when we contacted the owners they were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was a bonus (a pleasant man showed us round after he saw us looking through the windows, telling us how to book in etc). Could do with a few more Gin glasses!

A really relaxing stay and Tenby is lovely.

Flat was great, a little dusty in places, top of the wardrobes hadn't been cleaned in a while by the look of things. Managed to catch my car on the last step as we pulled out of bay 25! Damaged my bodywork and tore out my rear tire - expensive! Might be worth some hazard paint on the step as it is a tight turn in a large car, to prevent anyone else suffering the same fate. Shame the gym didn't open despite the lifting of restrictions. I was told this was due to lack of staff on site and problems keeping it clean. What was the regime pre covid? Overall a great experience.

I booked this before the first lockdown in 2020 and had to postpone until 2021.

I was attracted to the gym/swimming facilities but these were advertised as still unavailable at the time of our visit (June '21) When we arrived we could see people obviously enjoying those facilities but we had not brought appropriate kit and so missed out. Would have been nice to have had an updated state of play before we arrived. The apartment itself was lovely: comfortable and clean.

Ideal location for access to Tenby with beaches and town all within walking distance.

The coastal paths are breathtaking and we also can recommend Manorbier and Stackpole Quay for walks too. the short boat trip to Caldey island is recommended. We enjoyed lovely meals at Qube and Hope & Anchor, just as outdoor dining was permitted. We had a fantastic week and blessed with gorgeous weather. Thank you!

The apartment had everything you needed, great location & views, but the cleaning of the apartment was below what we expected especially with the COVID pandemic, bedroom floor was dirty and thick dust under the beds, thick dust in the vents in the en-suite.

Whoever cleans this apartment needs to pay attention and clean this to a higher standard especially with what is happening with the country.

The apartment was superb.

It was very clean and comfortable with great views. Two modern bathrooms with super showers and complimentary shampoo and conditioner Beds were really comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Location was excellent for walking access to north beach, harbour and town. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cambrie.

We stayed for a long weekend in December with our two children and had a very comfortable and very enjoyable time. The flat was spotless and had everything we needed. It was clear that measures were being taken to help keep the flat and communal areas (pool, hallway, staircase) covid-free. The pool facility was open and easily booked (one household at a time, one hour slot) which the kids really loved. It was an easy walk into the centre of Tenby but it was uphill on the way back (a good way to work off the fish and chips!). There’s a beautiful view in the living room. We would definitely rebook and recommend!

The toaster was hidden in a cupboard behind a pail but a coffee machine was in full view?

? Spent a lot of time looking for the toaster!! The en suite is too small - you feel as if you are drowning under the waterfall shower head. Lovely towels. Number 25 has no direct access to the pool. You have to exit the block and then go into the main building.
