“Lovely property but very little effort to make it feel welcoming surely a Bunch of flowers or a bowl of fruit would not be too much trouble to make people feel welcome.”

When we arrived heating was not on and I had to ring owner to find out how it worked he was very helpful but why was it not on. The property

Cable Cottage is a truly unique property with its superb cliff top location on the north Pembrokeshire coast.

It was originally one of several cable huts, used to house some of the first communication cables laid under the Atlantic.

The local owners have taken great care when renovating the cottage to retain its character and charm.

The cottage is well appointed, which is apparent immediately upon entry.

It is in an exceptional location, commanding spectacular panoramic sea views over Fishguard Harbour, out towards the Irish Sea and up the dramatic coastline towards Dinas Head.

Guests will enjoy walking the coast path which is just one field away, and can be approached through the owner's farmland below the cottage.

This is an excellent base to explore a selection of sandy beaches and coves which are renowned for some of the best swimming and surfing in the county.
