Meet the team here at Coast and Country Holidays…

Alison Thomas: Owner Experience Manager

Alison Thomas is the Owner Experience Manager for Coast and Country Holidays; Alison’s days vary from ensuring her team delivery excellent service to owners and guests, to attending agricultural shows. Alison finds great satisfaction in turning her challenges into opportunities, especially when helping owners bring their ideas to life.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys creative hobbies like painting and gardening. Simple pleasures help Alison unwind, often spending time relaxing by her garden chimenea. Her favourite entertainment includes Money Heist, Gladiator, and Forrest Gump. Alison also enjoys the scenic walk from Abereiddy to Porthgain in Wales and would love to visit the Grand Canyon someday.

If Alison could have dinner with anyone, past or present she’d choose Joanna Lumley and Stephen Fry!

As a child Alison once dreamed of becoming a police officer but has since discovered new passions, like waling, art and a personal challenge of sea swimming each month in 2025.

Poppy Sharpe: Account Manager

As an Account Manager, Poppy’s day is filled with calls, property inspections, and keeping the office upbeat and fun. She loves every aspect of her job, from working with the team to interacting with their amazing owners here at Coast and Country Holidays.

If she could switch roles, Poppy would love to step into Kelly’s shoes, the Local Supplier Lead, to learn more about that side of the business.

After work, she unwinds by relaxing on the sofa with her dogs. Poppy enjoys watching Donnie Darko and Criminal Minds, and if she could have dinner with anyone, it would be Ella Fitzgerald, whose music she admires. Her favourite spot in Mid/West/South Wales is the scenic Four Waterfalls Walk, offering stunning views.

As a child, Poppy wanted to be a vet, and today, she loves walking with her dogs and playing the piano. If she could travel anywhere, it would be Barcelona to experience its incredible architecture, especially the Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral of Barcelona.

Kelly Phillips: Local Supplier Lead & Account Manager

Kelly’s role as Local Supplier Lead and Account Manager revolves around working with property owners to manage their properties and handle maintenance. She enjoys helping get properties back to their standards.

If she could switch roles, Kelly feels it’s tough since her small team is so versatile, with everyone taking on each other’s tasks. After work, she unwinds by sitting back and reading a good book. Kelly also enjoys knitting some pieces for charity.

Her favourite movie is Gone in 60 Seconds, and she’d love to have dinner with Colin McCrae and Richard Burns, two legends in the motorsport world. Kelly’s favourite spot in Mid/West/South Wales is Aberaeron, where she enjoys Celtic’s Chips by the harbour.

As a child, Kelly wanted to be a solicitor, but today she enjoys hobbies like gardening, knitting, reading, and anything car related. She’d love to visit Canada to connect with her extended family there.
