Milford Haven is a town in Pembrokeshire on the Milford Haven Waterway; the natural harbour has been used as a port since the middle ages and is one of the deepest in the world. There is parking at the quayside (Nelson Quay) and you can walk all the way along the front where there are various shops & restaurants.
Milford Haven hosted the start of the 1991 Cutty Sark Tall Ships race and since then has hosted Seafair Haven a maritime festival which takes place every two years. Every other year In June there is also the Pembrokeshire fish week – perfect for sea food lovers!
Whatever the weather there is something to do in Milford Haven. Try bowling, catch a play at the Torch Theatre or a swim at the local leisure centre. You can also access the beautiful coastal path and admire the stunning scenery and wildlife.
Milford Haven is just 7 miles from both Pembroke and Haverfordwest and a short car/bus journey from many other pretty towns that are also on the coastal path such as Fishguard, Tenby and St. Davids.
