There are two routes to Swallow Falls, a picturesque woodland walk or the easier walk from the A5 roadside opposite the Swallow Falls Hotel.
To take the woodland walk park in the small car park at Ty Hyll approximately half a mile west of Swallow Falls. From the car park look for the sign for a footpath near the steps by the bridge. Follow a signed route keeping to the edge of the field nearest the river and cross the stile and follow the path along the river bank. Keep to the path until you reach the forestry track – keep to the track until you see a small path that leads down to a wooden viewing point.
The shorter route opposite the Swallow Falls Hotel is sign posted off the A5. You can park in the nearby lay by opposite the Hotel’s car park.
