The Ridgeway

We stayed at the Ridgeway for a 4 night break and found it had everything we needed.

It was clean and comfortable, the site it’s on is extremely quiet, which suited us. The decking area was very secure for our dogs, so we could let them pop outside on their own without worrying. The Woodlands Retreat site isn’t far from NewQuay, and is potentially walkable, but not with dogs/children as the route is not all pavemmented and the road is quite fast. Cei Bach beach was fantastic for the dogs, very quiet and big enough that you could avoid other dog walkers if you need to. All in all, a nice stay.

Great location, peaceful and quiet, close to bus stop which we were able to use to go to Newquay and Aberaeron save having to find parking as it was such a busy time.

Lodge was perfect, clean and tidy with all the amenities we required. Lovely outdoor furniture too which we took advantage of during our stay and a great large balcony. Thank you

Absolutely lovely few days only moan could not work out how the microwave works, the site was really clean and tidy would recommend and will probably book again next year

This accommodation is excellent, having a lovely lay out inside and out Plenty of room, with every facility you could possibly need.

American fridge/ freezer, large TV in the lounge area and more than enough storage. Wasn’t expecting an actual utility room - another wow factor. The lodge was exceptionally clean and tidy. The furniture for the decking area was plentiful and good quality. Wonderful holiday in beautiful surroundings and country walks.Will definitely book this retreat again and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for peace and quiet. The only disappointment was not having the bar open more often. We had a great night on the night it did open. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you.

There were no instructions on how to use the appliances, otherwise a very comfortable holiday let.

Lovely tranquil site, unfortunately shop and bar not open on site during our stay but we found that the premier shop in llanarth useful and friendly.

The accomadation was spacious and more than adequate for our needs, very well equiped for cooking,clean and inviting with some scrummy welsh cakes left for us on our arrival thankyou.

Really pleased with the accommodation - very clean, presented very well and had everything you could possibly want or need.

Plenty of kitchen items, lovely fluffy towels and comfy beds. We did have an Internet problem with no connection for the last evening, reset the router a number of times with no effect but the wind was very rough so maybe this was the problem. We did contact Sykes regarding this but they took over 20 hours to reply and we were on our way home but hope it had been solved for the people arriving later that day. We had a wonderful week and will definitely be booking again later in the year.
